Got my nails done with my mom and it would've been a better experience if the nail lady wasn't so rude. Tried to have a conversation (she was young and spoke perfect english) but she just looked up and ignored me. I accidentally smudged one of my nails and she got angry... everyone else's nail tech seemed super nice, but I guess mine didn't like me? Idk. She did good on my moms nails, but not on mine. P.S they don't do plastic bags in their tubs for pedicures which is not sanitary and the tub was dirty. read more

I've never had a problem with breaking nails or polish chipping on my acrylics even after five weeks of having them on! The people at the shop are wonderful, only downside is I usually find myself waiting for a few minutes even if I've called ahead, but nothing too extreme! The technicians are always super attentive and fix any little problems I point out with ease. I refuse to go to another nail salon! read more

My favorite place for nails in kitsap county. I have been to many nail salons but I have always had problems with my nails popping off or chipping off within a few days. I was a patron for another salon for two years. I like to grow my own nails out under the acrylic, but as soon as I would do this, I was told I needed a new set and the technician would proceed to rip off my acrylics and put on a new set. I decided to try another salon and found Studio Nail and Spa. I am very, very happy. Ngoc soaked off my old acrylics, and I tried the shellac. It has lasted for 3 weeks. The pedicure was wonderful as well with the wax dipping. They charge a bit less but have 10 X more service. The salon is very clean and soothing. read more

Susan, the new manager, is amazing! Very detail-oriented and obviously cares very much about what her customers want. I have acrylics with gel polish and needed a fill. I walked in (no appointment) and she estimated a wait of 20 minutes but it was much shorter than that. The shop is very clean, sanitary, spacious, and has newer equipment and furnishings - definitely a pleasant environment. First of all, this place smells like someone spilled Chinese food in a birdcage. The smell was so horrendous when I walked in that the only reason I didn't walk out was because the place was empty and the lady there jumped up when I came in. I gave it a chance anyway, and all i can say is... NEVER again. That place is dirty and disgusting! Floors are gross, equipment was gross, tables were sticky and all the tools were gross. I had a full set done, and the polish was a full shade darker on my nails than in the bottle (I think because it was so old... It was cakey and lumpy). Lastly, their OPI color selection was pathetic. Second time here. First time was ok. Today it took two hours for a pedicure (they seated me right away - I didn't wait in the lobby at all)... Had planned on a manicure too but at that point I was running way too late. Update - more than two hours later the polish on my toes was still wet? Not sure what they did. Maybe an off day? HORRIBLE experience!!! I scheduled an appointment for my mom and I to get pedicures on my birthday (5/10/19) at 1:00pm. We arrived on time and still waited 10 min before being seated. Water was cold! Sat there for another 10 min before anyone got to us. A man came over to my mom and started her pedicure. I sat there unattended the ENTIRE time she got her pedicure. Once she was DONE another gal came and started mine, meanwhile they ushered my mom out of her seat to the "drying" area. We scheduled the pedicures together so we could get them done TOGETHER. I guess I assumed that was a given. All said and done, it was the worst pedicure I'd ever gotten. Ridiculously long wait, nails not shaped the same, cuticles not cleaned well, and the place was filthy!! I will NEVER go to Studio Nails again!! read more

This was my second time here. The first time was fine, but this time I came in for a dip manicure. I had never had one of these before and let them know I was a novice. I also let them know I hadn't had a manicure in over three weeks. I was told to choose a color, that was it. The guy removed my polish, cut and filed my nails, then "filed" my cuticles with the electric filer, did the dip polish. Period! I was done. (no hand massage, btw). I looked at my hands, my cuticles looked horrid! When I asked I was told they had TWO services, DIP ONLY and dip PLUS manicure, and I didn't ask for the manicure. SERIOUSLY??? Who comes in to a manicure shop, tells them they haven't had a manicure in THREE WEEKS and doesn't want a manicure along with their dip polish? Don't forget, I told them I was a novice. No one even asked or informed me about this. I was really pissed off! Especially because at this point I was told they were only able to do a little cuticle work or totally ruin my nails. My friend and I called on a Saturday morning and there was no wait for a mani/pedi so we decided to give it a try. We were sat right away. Candy did my spa pedicure and Ly did my gel manicure. I didn't have any problems with them. They took their time and asked if I was satisfied and if everything was to my liking throughout the process. I was charged $50 all together, for both services. I went here for the first time last week. Made an appointment with Kevin because the girl that does my hair highly recommended him. So I went just before my engagement photo shoot. I have never been so happy with my nails. He did an amazing job!! They are so natural feeling. He took his time and was very precise. He knew I wasn't really comfortable with long nails so he kept cutting them down for me. Then when I was like I think that's ok he asked again and said I just want you to be comfortable. I want to start out by saying that I went to this salon from November until this April. So I gave them a plenty fair shot. In my opinion, they need to step their game up. Having an appointment means NOTHING. I have waited as much as 45 minutes in spite of having an appointment with a particular person every time. Even then I was usually rushed. If you don't have an appointment, it's hit or miss if you'll get one of the two guys who know what they're doing or if you'll get any of the other employees who only know how to do the most basic of things. Sometimes not even that. Like a small heart on one nail. Nope. Or how to properly paint with gel polish so that it doesn't become discolored. You may walk out happy if you get one of the two main guys, but they're so stressed out from picking up the slack of others that I was only happy maybe half the time. I was a walk in first thing on a Sunday morning to get a pedicure. It started off well, even though I was surprised to see what appeared to be a teenage boy would be doing my pedicure. Things soon took a turn when it became apparent he didn't know how to do a pedicure. Callouses and rough skin were not touched, cuticles quickly gone over. During my entire pedicure as new manicure/pedicure customers were entering, rather than tell them there would be a wait, they were seated and we were all worked on assembly line style. I was there two hours for a pedicure. Two women came in at separate times for eyebrow waxes and the other person working that morning stopped mid-pedicure and went and waxed their brows instead of finishing her current customers. When I thought I might finally be done, the guy doing my pedicure came over and put his thumb right in the middle of my big toe to see if the polish was dry - it wasn't. He tried smoothing it out and had to wait and dry again. When he thought it was dry again, he got my flip flops and put them on - totally smearing the polish on my big toe - again. He once again tried to smooth it out and set me there to let it dry- again. I looked down at my big toe and it was so splotchy and gloopy that it looked like a monkey had applied the polish. But at this point I had been there two hours. I needed to take my still rough heels and lumpy polish and just get out of there and get on with my life. I'll not be going back. read more
