Horrible. I have had nails done for 20+ years at many places. Just moved here so tried this place. It is horrible. They think they are a spa but the nails fall off and the shellac corrodes more quickly than any place I have ever been. Dipping powder and shellac are a joke here. My regular place is closed on Tuesdays, but it was the only day I could go that week. I see Studio Nails when I am in that shopping center, so I thought I would give them a try. When I arrived, there was no one else there. The person at the front desk asked what I needed and pointed me to the back of the salon. I waited a bit and a technician came out from the back. She was still chewing her lunch (no biggie) and joked about it being too spicy. I told her my color for a gel pedicure. I always let the technician know that I do not like a hard pressure massage, just gentle and she nodded OK. And she definitely kept that in mind. The problem came in on the actual pedicure part. That's when the pain came in. She used the large metal cuticle pusher like a bulldozer, just 3-4 quick crams into the back. I pulled away a few times in pain, but she did not get it. There was no way that it took care of the cuticles, it was just a pretend gesture. That was over quickly so I let it go. Then she set in with the trimmers... she was a little rough and I winced a few times, she didn't get it. And then it happened, cut right through skin and the blood started. She quickly threw some kind of blue paste looking goop on it and pretended nothing happened. She switched feet quickly, but kept changing out the goop on the wound because the blood kept coming through. It went on for a while, and she hurriedly threw on a coat of clear over wound and all (the blood is still visible even though I have soaked it). And speeded through the rest. She never acknowledged it or apologized. She finished and I paid and left quickly, I even stupidly tipped her. I know accidents happen, but she pretended it didn't even happen, so maybe it is the norm for them. It is still painful and I am keeping it super clean so it doesn't get infected. It was rushed, painful and more expensive than my usual place. I would never go back there and encourage others to go anywhere else. If I wanted to pay good money to be tortured for a half hour, I can think of better ways. I should have been more confrontational and refused payment but it's not my style. And I suspect it would not have been met with a sympathetic ear based on other negative reviews here. So I can only hope people will see this and drive right on by Studio Nails. read more

I will never come back again. I went there with 2 of my friends and we got a full set acrylics. I showed the lady what I wanted and got the complete opposite, but I let that go because I wasn't going to be petty... my friends had a bad experience as well. I spent 220$ in total for all of our nails. Anyways 4 days later one of my nails came off, I called asked to get it fixed and scheduled a time to come in! I got there and they told me they were full when I specifically called ahead of time, I told the lady I called and she said ok wait please. I waited an hour but I had to leave because I had something else to get to (hence why I made the appointment), I asked if I can just come back the following day. That's not even the last of it! The following day 2 more nails came off!! It's not only about how my nails fell off within 4 days after getting them but also about the experience in general, they hurried with our nails and they did not listen to what we wanted. It was a paycheck for them nothing more!! I'm very disappointed. read more

Not a fan. We had scheduled a pedicure for 3. They did everything they could get us out of the chair as soon as possible including having me walk over to the dryer with my wet toe nails which of course got ruined by the time I got to the dryer. Instead of fixing it she just glopped more nail polish on top, looked awful. I had two people do it, the second person did the nail polish and I could've done a better job, she didn't even sit down to do it, that's how much of a rush she was in. Will not go back. read more

I'll never go back. I asked for a nail design and when the guy couldn't do it because the design was ugly as hell he LITERALLY threw a fit and started tossing his supplies around. He walked to the front with his arms crossed and stood there until I came up to pay. Like a child. He didn't clean up under my nails, there's chunks of acrylic and nail shavings stuck. AND he over charged me for a gel fill at $40, when they're normally $30. Keep in mind he only attempted a design on ONE nail. Throughout the entire process I'd say thank you and he was SO RUDE. There was trash on the floor and he didn't even keep a clean station! He used no towels or anything. I've been getting my nails done here for years. The staff is all very nice and the place is always clean. I switched to dip powder a few months ago and LOVE how Jenny does them. She has painted beautiful designs for me and I always end up with tons of compliments thanks to her! read more

I just had a "dip powder" manicure with Nathan. I typically have (had) very brittle nails that chipped and peeled. I've been having these for a few months now and couldn't be happier. When my old dip powder was removed, Nathan commented on how strong my nails were. I was so surprised because they never were before. I like the dip powder even better than gel polish. And Nathan did such a beautiful job. I'm old and do not have pretty hands... but I have beautiful nails. I'll be back! read more

I've been going to this nail salon for almost a year. They normally do a great job. Nails are always nicely done and I have no issues. The first time I went I didn't get the tip I wanted for my nail (no big deal) but they were still gorgeous. After that, I always got the right tip and right color. They ALWAYS looked good. I went in a week ago this last time. I'm. Furious. I had to go back and get one nail redone because of an air pocket. I didn't bother with the rest because I didn't have time. My nails look clumpy, thrown together and sloppy. I have nails that are ALREADY coming up and off. They're not even or even going in the right directions. I paid for 3 people to get their nails done. I needed to get a fill for a set of acrylic nails & didn't want to spend a lot of money. A friend of mine had told me she had gone to this place before. They charged $17 for fill. Which seems to the be the average price. I was very satisfied. They didn't over file my nails or hurt me. I wasn't in the nail salon for that long either, but at the same time they did a very good job. I even got a nail design and I wasn't charged more. Most places would have charged me $5 dollars extra. I also really liked how clean and open spaced the salon was. And the woman who did my nails, listened to what I wanted & didn't question me when I asked for her to cut my nails shorter or add another coat of nail polish. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of colors of nail polish to choose from. Which is kind of a big factor for me. Since I love variety. Went there and got dip powder done. They were really cute. I went back to have them removed. I was told to have a seat and they would call me back when they were ready for me. I waited 30 minutes before I asked for an ETA. They stated that they forgot about me and to come back. As they start attempting to remove my dip powder, they asked me who did my nails because they did it wrong. I informed the lady that the man in the first chair did them and he did them like you would do acrylics but used the dip powder instead of dipping my finger powder. The lady then began to reprimand me for sitting and waiting patiently. I will not be returning. read more

I had a walk in appointment for acrylic removal, dip powder mani, and pedicure. I'm not sure the name of the gentleman that did my removal, but it was the most painless removal I've ever had done. I barely felt anything! He made sure to check in on me and my comfort level. So did Jenny, the nail tech who did the dip powder mani. She took time to make sure my cuticles were cleaned up and pushed back, and that the dip powder nails were shaped well. My favorite nail salon! They always take their time and listen to my preferences. It feels like the royal treatment each time. I rarely ever have to wait more than just a few minutes as a walk in. I've been to other salons and there has been no comparison. The care and quality here is consistently premium - whether I'm getting the deluxe package or regular. I had a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax done here and will never go back. My manicure and pedicure was rushed leaving white nail polish on the skin.. I did not complain because I typically don't get upset about stuff like that I'll just clean it up at home. My eyebrow wax laying in the chair she kept putting more wax/stripping a few times, when I left my eyebrow was burning and tingling, but I know this is what happens when you get your eyebrows waxed. The skin was irritated all day after leaving the salon, when I woke up the next morning I could see this burn mark under my eyebrow. I called Studio Nails to let them know and they said "this is normal and it will go away in a couple days" I am sorry, but the doctor already said this is a burn and that it may leave scarring. This is the second time I have been here. The first time I got my first pair of acrylic nails, the second time (today) I got a fill for the nails. The first time was a delight, sure they were a little rough but I've had way worse, but this time around they were awful. My nail technician was bubbly, and kind but her nail job was awful! She left hangnails, bumps in my nail, and stuff under my nails. I was originally going to only give a 3 but it was my BFFs birthday, she was getting her nails done next to me and I heard her ask the guy to cut her nails a little shorter and the man replied in a snarky tone saying "Why ? you want one hand shorter than the other???" My first visit was back in 2018 and it was absolutely terrible so I never walked back in until.....a few months ago with a good friend and all was well. I quickly became a regular client until my new acrylics started breaking, every time I went back for a fill I had at least 1 broken nail sometimes 2. Ugh!! The pricing was always inconsistent and the work was always inconsistent Mia the owner would make up the prices as she decided. I paid $45 for a full set and $45 for a fill????? The last straw was when she double booked me and proceeded to get the biggest attitude when I asked her how much longer I had to wait after patiently waiting for 30 mintues past my scheduled time. I recently went to a different nail salon in Silverdale and got the worst acrylic job I've ever had in my entire life, so a coworker suggested I go to studio nails! I've never been happier with any manicure and the service was amazing. The staff were so friendly and nice, and he really took his time and made sure my nails came out perfect. I came in asking for a new set because the set I received at another place was so terrible, he said I don't need a new set and he could fix the old one and save me an extra $30. There was a list of COVID-19 precautions they said they were following but they did not take my temperature or ask any questions about COVID symptoms. The worst thing was that she used USED FOIL to get the polish off of my nails!! The foil was all wrinkled and looked like it had other junk on it. There was no manicure as far as trimming the cuticles. And there was no lotion put on my hands after the nails were done. The whole process to do my nails took only 50 minutes.
