Studio One is THE place to get your hair cut. The three guys that run it (Wayne, Alan, and Alex) are all top notch, and their long list of clientele proves it. I personally have Alex cut my hair because I've specifically gone to him when all three of them were at their previous employer (Side note: It takes a lot of guts, faith, and confidence in your work to open your own shop, so kudos to these guys.). Alex has always treated me well and consistently does a great job with my hair. He (Wayne and Alan, too) always makes his clients feel welcome. When you get your haircut there, it's like you're hanging out with a bunch of friends. Everyone's always talking, whether it be sports, family, friends, movies, anything! Before you know it, your hair is done and you're on your way to wherever you're going next. Yes, it is a bit pricey for haircuts, but I guarantee I it's totally worth it. Though Studio One Barber Lounge is a new business, those behind the chairs are far from new. I have been a client of Alan's for a few years now back when he was working for another shop. I have had the pleasure of following his success not only as a barber but as a businessman. I can go on and on about the talent of Alan but that's something you'll have to experience yourself. Keep in mind that I use the word talent; Alan has a natural talent for details, hospitality, innovation, creativeness, communication, and barbering. If you know Alex, Alan & Wayne from 2% Barbershop, well they opened up their own shop and it's called Studio One Barber Lounge. It's a small intimate space in the Sola Salon Studios at the Terra Vista Town Center. Main reason I got my haircut here today rather than 2%, is because of Alex. He's been my good to guy for as long as I've been going to 2%. And if you know Alex, his work is second to none. The cool thing about this spot that I would like to point out is that they offer complimentary bottles of beer (Modelo) and shots of liquor (Whiskey, Cognac, etc). Yes, you read that right! ALCOHOL!!! It's like you're own personal man cave with a barber. What more can you ask for??? Anyway, not to take anything away from 2% but I will no longer be going there because I have no business being there since my barber is here. Aside from Alex, Alan & Wayne are awesome barbers. I've been going to Alan for over a year now, and he has yet to let me down. I initially went to him because he cuts a sick high top, but since I cut that off his fades and tapers are legit as well! Couldn't be more impressed with his skills. As for the shop, it's a great little spot. Super laid back and chill, 3 barbers with great music and a tv. All 3 barbers used to cut at 2% barbershop and now own this little place, couldn't ask for a better experience! They fill up quick, they do accept walk ins, but if you can make an appointment, it will only make your experience better. I know when Alan was at 2% I had to make an appointment about 3-4 days in advanced if I wanted to get in. So of course with an appointment I don't wait, but as a walk in I would assume you'd have to wait at least 30 min to get cut. But again, I can't say enough good things about this place! read more

Let me start off by saying if I could give 0 stars, I would. Where do I start, I made an appointment with Alex for 4 PM. 4:30 comes around and he finally shows up. He didn't even begin to apologize, all he can say was he was busy doing other stuff, really? Then not only does his eyes look red, I smelled alcohol on him and i swear he smelled like he just smoked marijuana. At that point I wanted to leave but my son needed a haircut and supposedly he was the best. Well my son was very disappointed and it didn't come out the way he wanted. Alex says there wasn't much he can do and that's the style kids are wearing. Just all in all so unprofessional and not to mention other workers were just freely giving alcohol to customers. Just not a kid/teen friendly place. I get they are adults but also the topic of their conversation about personal sexual stuff should be left to a minimum while kids are around. I'm completely disgusted and will never come back. Good luck if you decide to come here. As for Alex, he definitely lacks customer service . read more

so ive been going to the same barber for 10 years plus, i recently moved to hesperia , up the hill and there is no good barbershops up there, and because i could not keep going to my barber i had to start looking around. I came across studio barber lounge !! and let me just tell you guys i was blown the hell away!!! i felt so pampered and taken care of!! i had been missing out for 10 yrs these guys are the real deal and hooked me up ! the wifey loved my cut, go check out wayne , real dope dude down to earth cool to talk to, and dude gots mad skills he hooked me up with a sick come over and hooked up my beard. Came to get my cut with Wayne today. As always excellent service, I would get my cut with Wayne for about 2 years at 2% barbershop, now him, Alan, and Alex got there own spot here in the Sola Salons. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Nothing wrong with 2%, but I no longer will be going there because of course Wayne is here at Studio One. I'd follow this guy anywhere for my cut. I have a mixed hair boy 9 years old who is started to care how hes hair looks so finding a good place to cut his hair was hard some messed up because they didnt know how to control hes hair went to an all black barber shop they were fine had to get another barber from the same shop to cut his hair since hes regular guy stop showing up so this new guy just did a terrible job left hairs around his ear line up was awful looked ike he was trying to hurry up so had to find a new place then found 2% online looked them up on instagram found Alan he does black hair Hispanic hair white hair so decided to try him out. First day we meet my son loved him he was great with my son after the first appointment my son said i want to keep going to him so thats what we did.
