Studio Ritz is a hidden gem. My stylist there is Lynda G. and I always leave there feeling like a rock star! I'll often bring in pictures of how I "think" I want my hair to look and Linda will be honest if she thinks it will work with my type of hair and facial structure. My past stylist would just cut my hair however I asked her to...and then I would end up with hair that I could never style myself and never looked right with my shape of face. I looked great for a day but sadly, back in a ponytail my hair would go... I think there are some stylists who mistakenly "think" you make a client happy by giving the client what she wants-even if it doesn't work for them.....then there are stylists like Linda, who make clients happy by being honest and developing a relationship of trust. You trust her knowledge & talent and leave looking & feeling great with a style YOU can maintain!! Lynda knows how to work with the shape of your face and find a cut which flatters your features. She takes the time to show you how to style your hair at home, which products will work with your hair and how to transform your look into evening. I really appreciate that she takes the time to find out what your lifestyle is and how much time you'll take in managing your hair so she can find a cut that fits your lifestyle. I like the fact that the salon is not some snooty place but instead a comforting and welcoming salon where I always feel at home. I treasure the relationship I've developed with Lynda and trust her immensely with both the cut and color of my hair. Which is huge!! You won't have to wait around for your appt. or "check in" at some big desk. The studio is intimate and you'll be greeted by Lynda, herself. I was just floored with Lynda and the wonderful work she does. I was the type of person that didn't ever spend money on me ... Here I am, working full time and focusing on family and work & really spending money on me just never came about ... & then I met Lynda. In just visiting with her I noticed the wonderful work she was able to do for her clients in just 5 minutes ... Yes, 5 minutes. Client after client would come in and rave about her work and Lynda would do a 5 minute make over on them and I was floored ... She worked wonders! I noticed that Lynda LOVES what she does which makes her exceptionally well at doing it. The value and experience that Lynda brings makes her invaluable. I was recommended to go to Studio Ritz and see Lynda after I had a really bad hair color experience from another salon. Not only was I self conscious, but my hair was so fried that it would fall off every time I brushed it. I would leave a trail of broken ends every where I went. I could not get an appointment right away because there were no openings and it was explained the salon is generally booked several weeks in advance (nice to know) so.. when I took the first ava spot I couldn't be more anxious to get there. My first visit took about 3-hrs Lynda took my hair from this unspeakable condition ,and color to utterly chic and healthy!! Not only is she the BEST, but she is will not compromise her time. She will give you 100% of herself before you leave the salon. Lynda is a "National Platform Artist" which isn't a walk in the park she has a life time of experience and devotion to this business. A year and a half ago I found this diamond in the rough hair studio when I purchased a Groupon for a haircut and met my stylist Lynda. Her talent as a International Hair Platform Artist that travels around the world really impressed me and I felt that I was in very capable hands. I came into the salon with long damaged hair and when I left I was completely transformed!. After my new makeover, Lynda took the time to explain how to properly care for my hair and taught me how to style it. For the 1st time I can honestly say that I look and feel 8+ years younger. I have my own customized hair color and hairstyle that fits me! Plus my hair has NEVER looked better or has been this healthy. If you plan on making an appointment at the salon don't be disappointed if you can't get in right away the salon is generally booked 1 month in advance but believe me it's worth the wait. I have been to this salon 3 times and I just love it! I finally found a salon I can stick with! I have gone to other salons that charge a lot of money for mediocre work in comparison to what Lynda my stylist can do I refer people over there all the time! It's tucked away in the Drake Oak Brook office blding so it's easy to miss compared to many of the overstated and overpriced salons in the Oak Brook area. This cozy , and private salon offers many detailed in demand services and is a very relaxing environment to be in. I found this salon on Yelp and it was one of the few salons that had the full 5 out of 5 stars with all positive reviews that convienced me to give them a call.Being I am a new to yelper I discovered more of the salon reviews in the FLITERED AREA so make sure if your new to yelp to read in that area as well. Studio Ritz is a small, comforting salon with 2 fabulous technicians. Ritzie gives the best mani-pedis around. She has strengthend and smoothed my nails so they are now healthy. Her no-chip manicure is the best I've seen anywhere. It lasts a full 2 weeks. It is great to not have to be careful about my nails immediately after the service. Lynda Gorecki is an extrodinary hair sylist and colorist. I just put myself into her hands each time I go to her. She uses techniques she has developed to curb a troublesome colick at the top of my head. She actually "healed" my hair. When I first started going to her, my hair had been over colored and dried out. Now it is very healthy thanks to Lynda. I've never had so many compliments on my hair in my life. Besides technical prowess, Ritzy and Linda are a great comedy team. They keep you laughing and entertained with their quips and jibes at each other. I highly recommend both women. Studio Ritz offers nail, waxing and hair services. I've gone to Ritzie, the owner, for the past 7 years for mani's, pedi's and brow waxing and I refuse to go anywhere else. Her service is top-notch. She uses unaltered, quality products and you never have to question the cleanliness of the tools she uses. She's a sweetheart, to boot, loves her work, and it shows! Lynda has been my stylist and colorist for the past 3 years and I've never been happier with my hair. She's a platform hair designer, so she's an expert in her field. I am a busy woman with busy kids and husband. Studio Ritz is literally my little oasis. Studio Ritz is the perfect salon for my nails and hair needs because it's conveniently located in the building where I work. I can easily escape work and have a pedicure done while I enjoy a glass of lemonade and relax on the pedicure massage chair. I've tried many places for nails; eye brow wax, and hair service, but never received the attention and professional knowledge that both Ritzier and Lynda give in their line of profession. I love the fact that they both take the time to explain in detail how the product works on my hair and nails. To this day, I continue to receive complement on my new hair makeover, from long hair to short sexy hair. I wish that I could give Studio Ritz 10 stars! This place is amazing, and I'm totally missing it (I moved to the Southwest). Ritzie is a wonderful nail tech/esthetician. I've had everything done from brow and lip waxing to gel nails, manis and pedis. She's very talented and takes her work seriously. I am not surprised that this Salon gets such positive reviews. It is really great! This was my first visit to the salon and Lynda my stylist knew how to create beautiful highlights and color like I have never had before. My experience was unforgettable and since then I have made many referrals as well. Lynda is an artist and has her own creative way to cut & color all types of hair. You would just have to watch her to understand what I mean. For the 1st time in a long time I can say my hair looks and feels gorgeous and I get a ton of compliments on my color and cut ALL THE TIME. : ) that says allot! I found Studio Ritz by doing a search for Gelish no chip manicures near my home. (I had tried this product and it worked great when I was visiting out east). I called and made an appointment with Ritzi to try it again and once again my nails looked great and I had no issues with chipping or peeling. Ritzie is very sweet and professional and makes sure your nails are perfect when you leave. I have been going every 2 weeks for about 7 months and i have been thrilled every time I leave! She has so many colors to choose from you can go every 2 weeks for 5 years and never repeat a color! They do also off regular manicures and she does a awesome pedicure!! read more

I've been a long time client at Studio Ritz, almost since the beginning. Ritzie and Lynda care about your experience, they want you to feel comfortable, relaxed and pampered. Of course it helps I work in the same building which is very convenient to stop by to check and see what other products they have on display. I've put my hair completely in Lynda's capable hands. My mom has been straightening my hair for 17 years using Dr. Miracle from the grocery store. My cousin goes to Studio Ritz and suggested I do the same since my hair had been so badly damaged being it was not professionally being done. I had my consultation with Lynda and I had to get a series of deep conditioning treatments to repair my hair before I could have the "KERA SMOOTH STRAIGHTING" treatment. After 1 month of treatments I was able to get my hair straightened and I now have straight, shiny, healthy hair that does not look like straw anymore!
