I know I recently wrote a review, but I wanted to add some additional feedback. They have signage at checkout that states their no chip manicure is guaranteed to last 10 days. After doing some house work with my hands, two of my nails got chipped within 3. I came back in and management quickly offered a solution and technician fixed the 2 nails at no cost. TL;DR: My first appointment was very disappointing due to poor structure and service. However, the salon followed up twice to offer a refund or redo. I returned for a fix, and the second experience was significantly better. I appreciate the accountability. Star: 3.5 but since that isn't an option, I went with 4 (rounding up). I originally booked a Russian manicure with Gel-X and left extremely disappointed. The service did not match what was booked, the manicure was incomplete, and no proper apex was built, leaving the nails structurally unsupported (see photos). From the front they looked fine, but the side profile clearly showed the lack of structure. I arrived for a 2:00 PM appointment and wasn't seated until about 2:20 PM. The salon felt understaffed, I wasn't offered the complimentary drinks advertised on Instagram, and there was a strong acrylic/chemical smell throughout the salon. I had to request a mask while waiting. The technician did not confirm the service before starting. The "Russian manicure" consisted only of a quick spray and cuticle clipping -- no proper prep -- yet I was charged $10. The filing was aggressive and uncomfortable. The color did not match my reference, and there was a visible dip from apex to tip. Without a proper apex, longer nails lack support and are more prone to breakage if accidentally hit. I would have gladly paid for builder gel if needed -- I just wanted correct structure. After my service, a staff member explained they are currently undergoing management changes, updating their drink menu, and that I came during a busy time. While I appreciate the explanation, it did not change the final result of my nails. After my review, the salon contacted me twice to make things right. They offered either a refund or a redo because they did not feel comfortable keeping my money while I was unhappy. I returned Wednesday evening, and the experience was much better. A different technician removed the original set, performed a proper Russian manicure, reviewed my reference photo carefully, and rebuilt the Gel-X with correct structure and apex. The result turned out much closer to what I originally requested. I tipped him $20 because he had to redo a full set that wasn't his mistake (plus, for his time and effort). While my first visit was disappointing, I do want to acknowledge that the salon made a genuine effort to correct it. I appreciate the follow-up and accountability. read more

This place is gorgeous! I attended a grand re-opening under new management and they threw a huge party complete with a grazing table and lots of beverages. My cousin made an appointment for 3 of us and we were placed in one of the private rooms. We were immediately offered the drink menu so while we waited we were able to sip and snack. When they took us to the private room, they gave us a menu book with all the different services they offer. Pedicures started at $44 and goes up depending on additional add ons. Our private room had a TV so my cousin logged into her Netflix account and we got caught up with the new XO, Kitty episodes. I had initially suggested getting caught up with Bridgerton but grateful for the girls with me to remind me of the spicy scenes. That would have made for a very awkward time lol. For my manicure, I got the no chip chrome and I love it! It was nice that we didn't have to get up from our pedicure massage chairs and they were able to do my manicure right there. For the event, they were also offering a 30% discount for all services so for my mani/pedi combo, it came out to $71. I also found out for future reference that if you pay cash, there is a 5% discount. Overall, this was such a cute and fun place. It's the same owner as the one in Burr Ridge and I've heard so many good things about that location. Upon checking out, we were gifted with a goody bag from the event which contained a purse holder, cuticle oil and hand lotion. I went during the new management/grand reopening party. It was easy to make an appointment (can call or do it online) and everyone was so nice at the salon. I love that they have a drink menu thats more than just water and juice. I got a mango mojito and a cafe latte which were both good. My friends and I were seated in a private area where we were able to catch up on netflix shows. I opted for the milk and honey pedicure and a catseye no chip manicure. I got the Citrus Paradise Deluxe Pedicure and Express Manicure. The Pedicure was fine - but the setting a timer to make sure I got the 10 minute massage with zero pressure was not ok to me. Add to the fact that the technician only did the top of my legs and not the full leg (The back of my legs were not touched) felt rushed and only meeting the standard. The express Manicure comes with Shaping, cuticle care, massage, hot towels, finish with polish. I only received the Shaping, Cuticle care and polish. No massage or hot towels and the technician did make me bleed a couple of times. I did tip the technician since I do believe a service was done but I will not be back since I didn't receive the full service and felt like I was made to pay for something I did not receive. read more

I am so disappointed with my last visit to this salon. I came in for a deluxe pedicure like I normally do, but the lady I got this time did such a sloppy job on my nails. It felt like she was hurrying through it all just to get her money and on to the next customer. A few of my nails were cut crooked and super short down to the skin. She cut the toes on one foot shorter than the other foot, and the nail polish just looks sloppy and not professional at all. I told the lady at the register about my nails being cut not straight, that it looked crooked, and she said the other lady will fix it, but she barely did. This is how it looked when I got home. I've been on the fence with this review for a couple weeks.... Quality is inconsistent. If you book online they literally will give you the newest person employed...or at least that's how it feels. I got a pedicure for the first time in six months a couple weeks back. The man never cleaned or shaped my toe nails. I have an ingrown nail for months, it's always been addressed in the past, completely skipped altogether. This should have been my sign that this pedicure was going to be awful. I asked for callus remover, and it was as if he was afraid to do the service (I'm a bartender I have some rough heels). My heels were not smooth, but jagged to the point they snagged on my socks. I did a simple French design for my toes. The lines were not matching up and he was offended when I asked for them to be even (my left foot was perfect with a thin line but my right foot was thick). Not one manager came by to ask what was going on, offer help or advice. When I used a promotion that they had emailed the man seemed put off that I asked for them to honor their promotion. This last experience put such a sour taste in my mouth after two years of being a customer. I felt ignored, unheard and like a burden. The most stressful and uncomfortable experience of my life. This was beyond disappointing because I was trying to treat myself after a couple stressful weeks. I paid and left as quickly as possible. When I got home and finally truly inspected my toes, there was so much flooding from the polish in my nail beds. The whole for the French wasn't painted on my full toe nail. I have a straight up corner or my toe that was never painted. What was supposed to be fun and soothing was stressful and disappointing. read more

Esthetically pleasing. Soooo pretty inside i had high hopes. Went with 3 friends. We had an appointment. 1. We were rushed to pick colors. 2. Two of the girls got their pedi done by the same tech WHICH IS NOT THE PROBLEM. The problem is that this tech did both pedis in the time I got my one pedi done. They were mega rushed and she was so rough on them. And the SHAPEEEE lol my god I'm posting the pic on that pedi.. When this tech was told one of the girls needed a mani she legit scoffed and rolled her eyes hard as hell. Just say no, pass her off to someone else.. I don't know, explore your options. Figure it out though there's no reason for that. If you don't like your job that's personal. We're there to get a pedi and have a relaxing experience. 3. One of the girls got an acrylic full set and her nails were burning from the acrylic. When she asked why they were burning she was told it's because she's got sensitive skin/nails. (We all get acrylics regularly this has never happened) minutes later the tech put cuticle oil on her hand and said "I just burned myself too". My friends nails were still burning about an hour later. I'll post them below it's the red nails with the mess around the cuticles. 3. I get that there are add ons but PLEASE ADVISE what incurs a higher price. No one was told anything was a higher price until check out. Then there was a big list. All of this I think boils down to being too busy. We all had appointments but were rushed through the whole process and felt unwelcomed. My tech that did my pedi was gentle and amazing wish I would have got her name. She is an Angel oh we did get free cuticle oil though. read more

I came to this location after trying their Sista location in South Elgin. Upon my first visit here they were very rude and rushy. However the service to my nails for my dip manicure was good. My second visit to this location I requested both Dip Medicare and pedicure. The service for my pedicure was amazing. The tech was very engaging. We had a good report and understanding. The man that did my dip manicure, however, was not very customer friendly. Both prior technicians who service me for my dip manicure only use the drill to remove the protective coating from my nails, so that way my nails grow and create a healthier nail. I requested this man to not use a drill on my natural nail. I was ignored. He nicked my nail, causing it to break. When this was addressed to him, he ignored and said it's OK after completing this service I went home Went to bed the next day my nail was broke. I called to have the service overall redone as the coding. The man put was very thin compared to the two other times only the one broken nail was fixed. Two days later other nails cracked, and now I am less than one week needing to get a whole new set. I will not be returning. My original return should have been addressed and my request should have been granted to prevent additional trips. read more

Horrible service and apparently, math is different where they're from. Did you know that 15% off of $70 is $5? And when you inform them that they incorrectly applied their text promotion, they become defensive, yell, and fabricate stories to place blame on the customer. I show them the text with their 15% off "entire service" offer and do the math in front of her, and then she tries to claim it only applies to pedicures. On social media, I addressed the matter since the employee became belligerent in store, and I was told I'd get 15% off my next service for the inconvenience. I went here despite the negative reviews because I believe every business can have a bad day or what not, but this was just...bad. I only wanted a pedicure, but a more deluxe pedicure so I sprang for the milk and honey pedicure. The person they paired me with IMMEDIATELY assumed an upcharge on top of that and bought me the no chip colors. I tried to explain to her that I have a nail condition where no chip nail polish doesn't stay (long ridgeline nails) and that it is pointless so I just wanted regular polish and she was not having it. I had to repeat it about 4 times to get it through to her. After that she kept on pointing out "flaws" I had like my toe nails were so short (I have to keep them short because I have a breakage problem) and kept trying to upcharge me for more experiences. Then the true nail in the coffin hit...she sneezed directly onto my foot. No apologizes and just continued on. I was insanely grossed out. During the "callus removal" section she didn't even bother checking my full foot for calluses, just the ball of my foot. The lotion they used and or the water line absolutely stunk as well. I wish this places vibe would've been like a saving grace since it's very classy on the inside, but it didn't save the service sadly. I didn't complain to the manager because based on reviews from this page, she would've called the cops due to constructive criticism. I cannot recommend this place at all. I really wanted to have a great experience here, but I left last night feeling disappointed. The inside of this business is beautiful and elegant looking. I was so excited. I paid $68 for nails that were mediocre and look like they were a week old already. My cuticles weren't trimmed or pushed back and the no chip and the full set didn't even completely cover my nails on some fingers. Some of the nails even looked like they were taking off from my finger. This is the first time I've had my nails done in over a year and I wanted to treat myself after having a baby to something a little nicer and splurge but I'm pretty sad about my experience. I came with my sisters for a treat and left feeling taken advantage of. I loved this place however the last time I went I was the first person there when they opened. When I got my nails done my hands were sitting in a layer of nail shavings from the day before I assume. I was looking for a new nail salon and came across this one on yelp and although the reviews made me rethink my plans to go to there but what can I say I've a rebellious side and I'm glad that I went to this nail salon. It is beautiful from the inside and very clean. I was greeted at the door and was asked for the service I was looking for, there is a whole menu to choose from and once I decided on the kind of the pedicure I wanted I was assisted to the waiting area because the nail tech that was appointed for my pedi was setting up her station meanwhile I was asked if I would like a soda or water which was really nice and on the house. After a few minutes I was taken to the pedi station and the nail tech came out with a gorgeous assortment of fruits, vegetables and dairy products for my feet and legs and the color swatches as well and once I picked the color the pedicure started which lasted a good 45mins, my feet and legs were washed, scrubbed, rubbed, massaged, encased in paraffin wax, wrapped in hot towels, and hot stone massaged. My nail tech was super nice and attentive and she did exactly what I was looking for and I went home a very happy customer with very happy feet. read more
