I live an hour and a half away, and while I was almost at the salon, Rebecca at the front deskcalled to say they were running 15 minutes late--with zero apology. When I pointed out the double standard regarding their strict late policy for clients, Rebecca took on an incredibly empowered and condescending attitude. She told me that 'with my attitude' the stylist wouldn't want to see me, and she hung up on me. When I called back, she claimed she had now spoken to Sue and that Sue refused to see me, but they conveniently tried to 'bait and switch' me to a different appointment. It is appalling that a front-desk employee feels entitled to gatekeep and insult a long-term customer before they've even met the stylist. Because of this ego-driven behavior, I spent three hours on a round-trip commute for absolutely nothing. I refused the second appointment because I will not give my business to a place that treats loyalty with such blatant disrespect.
