Please read!…read more I have been getting my nails done since I was a teenager, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. I came into this salon for the first time with long, healthy natural nails that had gel builder on them. I left with my nails completely ruined. Julie aggressively cut my nails down extremely short without listening to what I wanted. She cut them so short that my skin was exposed, and several of my fingers actually started bleeding. I was shocked. In all my years of getting my nails done, I have never had a nail technician cut my nails to the point of making me bleed. What made the situation even worse was that after my fingers were already bleeding, Julie continued to file my nails. She then proceeded to put acetone on all of my fingers, including the areas where my skin had been cut open. The burning and pain were unbearable. Instead of stopping the service, checking on me, or asking if I was okay, she kept going as if nothing had happened. To make matters worse, she then attempted to put some type of glue or ointment directly onto my bleeding finger without explaining what it was or asking for my consent first. I had to stop her myself. I was honestly in disbelief that this was happening. My fingertips are now extremely sensitive to touch, throbbing, and painful. Simple things like washing my hands, typing, buttoning my clothes, or accidentally bumping my fingers hurt. I walked in with beautiful, long, healthy natural nails that I had spent a long time growing out, and I walked out with bloody, uneven, painful nails that look nothing like what I came in with. I brought my concerns to the manager, Alicia, hoping she would take the situation seriously and offer a meaningful resolution. Unfortunately, she wasn't very helpful. I left feeling dismissed rather than cared for. There was very little empathy or accountability for the fact that a customer left injured after what should have been a routine nail appointment. I will be attaching before-and-after photos so others can judge for themselves. The pictures clearly show the healthy nails I came in with compared to the damaged nails I left with. I would absolutely not recommend this salon based on my experience. No customer should leave a nail appointment bleeding, in pain, and regretting their decision to come here. If this is the level of care being provided, other clients deserve to be warned before trusting this salon with their natural nails. I genuinely believe Julie needs additional training and closer supervision before working on clients independently again. A basic nail service should never result in exposed skin, bleeding fingers, acetone being applied to open wounds, and a technician attempting to place an unknown product on an actively bleeding finger without first obtaining the client's permission. What happened was not just disappointing--it was unacceptable. Save yourself the pain, frustration, and heartbreak of having your natural nails ruined. I wish I had never stepped foot into this salon.

I recently got surgery and I am unable to wash and style my hair -nicely- for work so I quickly searched a hair salon that was open on a Sunday. The receptionist was lovely and I was able to book a few hours out. My stylist was named Candy and she was so friendly and helpful when I arrived. I explained that I was unable to do it myself due to a recent surgery and that I was just looking for a blow out. She got to work right away, and asked if we could use round brushes to give my hair a light curl -yes! My appointment took an hour. Candy did a deep wash and informed me what products she was going to use and why. The blowout was fantastic. I was so relaxed I might of dozed off :) I was in and out and am leaving very satisfied. I may book again and I am considering going to her for a hair cut! I really was super impressed with this last minute salon and staff! Thanks Candy!

Mia was also so easy to talk to. We spent the appointment chatting about life, her passions, and her goals of becoming a medical assistant. It genuinely felt like hanging out and getting to know someone while she casually made my nails look incredible. Nina did my pedicure and was wonderful too! Normally I'm the type who has to match my toes to my hands, but since this was my first time at DEP, I kept it simple and just got a little taste of what they could do. While I was there, Anna, the owner, also took the time to introduce herself and tell us about the many different services they offer. That little interaction really added to the experience. When I pointed out the double standard regarding their strict late policy for clients, Rebecca took on an incredibly empowered and condescending attitude. She told me that 'with my attitude' the stylist wouldn't want to see me, and she hung up on me. When I called back, she claimed she had now spoken to Sue and that Sue refused to see me, but they conveniently tried to 'bait and switch' me to a different appointment. It is appalling that a front-desk employee feels entitled to gatekeep and insult a long-term customer before they've even met the stylist. Because of this ego-driven behavior, I spent three hours on a round-trip commute for absolutely nothing. I refused the second appointment because I will not give my business to a place that treats loyalty with such blatant disrespect.
