They have a cute kids pedicure chair area with two chairs, both with mini iPads to play with while they get their toes done. The pedicures are awesome, thorough and have lots of options. But I had never gotten a full set there until yesterday. I was THRILLED with how they turned out! I have used this salon for years to get pedicures. A lot of the time I bring my granddaughters for a mani and pedi. I have never had a problem with the nail polish peeling the same day after we come in. This time my granddaughter chose a teal sparkle for her fingers and a gold for the toes. Later in the day the polish on one of the nails peeled off. Then several others started. I did not have a chance to bring her back in until 2 days later. When I explained that they started peeling the same day as the polish was applied they informed me they do not warrenty nail polish on kids. They offered to give me a discount on redoing them in gel. This could have been easily remedied by just applying new nail polish and and honoring their work. They have lost a good client over bad business practices. read more

It is unfortunate to write a bad review, but I have been coming to this place for the past year and will no longer be supporting this business after how I was treated yesterday. I had made a gel removal appt for my previous manicure and a pedicure. Upon arriving, the front desk woman asked why I didn't want to get a gel manicure this time, and I politely told her I did not want to this time but planned to next time. While I was getting my gel removed, I was asked what color I had wanted. I stated that I only wanted to get my gel removed and did not want any color. He asked me about 2 more times during it and I told him every time that I only wanted the gel to be removed. Later, he suggested that he could just do clear polish at least and I told him sure. A few minutes later, the front desk woman told me that I needed to pay right there and then. This was odd as I was used to paying after my services. When she told me the total price, I was shocked to find out that she was going to charge me for a manicure! I kindly reiterated to her that I did not make an appt for a manicure and only wanted the gel polish to be removed. She told me very aggressively and rudely that I still had to pay as he HAD given me a manicure and rushed me to pay immediately. I was so shocked and upset that I was going to be charged for service that I was completely unaware of!! This was SUPER disappointing, disrespectful and offensive to me. Upon handing me my receipt, she pointed to the tip portion which made me so uncomfortable as I ALWAYS tip. This was extremely unprofessional and rude to say the least. As I was signing the receipt, I mentioned again that I never wanted a manicure and she unregretfully said 'sorry' and left the shop immediately after I paid. I left their salon feeling violated, frustrated and unsettled with my experience and service. I am no longer going to support nor recommend this shady and dishonest business to others. read more

I walked in and I immediately told the lady it was my first time there and that I wanted full set Acrylic nails with gel. Once she started doing my nails, I notice it wasn't acrylic like I said, instead I believe the she put Builder hard nails that she was putting on. I looked it up later cause I was confused to why she put those on than Acrylic nails. I didn't say anything but I found that strange. I was upset inside because she definitely did what she wanted not what I wanted. I didn't like the nails after a few days later because they felt very weird, as in weak,light, like I couldn't grab towels out of my dryer using my nails like I did with Acrylic. The whole feeling of them was bad. I ended up taking them off, which were not difficult to remove compare to Acrylic. I felt like they were lazy and wanted to do it their way and not listen to the customers request. They about sales. I later read on yelp and sure enough I had same experience. This is why I don't return to places who don't listen to what you want. read more

If I could put no stars I would. This was my second time coming here. The lady that did my toes the first time did amazing. This last time a man did it and he makes me want to never get a pedicure again. I cut my own nails to my size and shape. All he needed to do was file them to make it look clean. I didn't ask for any special service I just wanted the most basic pedicure without any stones or massage. I just wanted my toes cleaned up and polished. The man was cutting my nails with cuticle clippers and cut my skin that I was bleeding. He put ALCOHOL on them and I wanted to cry but I bit my lip and my toes starting throbbing. He finished painting and rushed me out to pay. I was charged the price for a full pedicure. Based off how he acted it didn't seem like he has his license and needs to be taken off the floor. So if you want to walk out from a salon lumping feel free to come here but this will not be a place I recommend EVER. read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. First of all, I missed a flight because they took me back about 45 minutes late. The eyelash lady took me back and did my eyelashes, when I tried opening my eyes they BURNED like crazy. This is not normal for eyelash extensions. When I was finished with my lashes she had me lay there to have them dry and it seems like she forgot about me because I had to take the tape off my eyes by myself. The eyelash person at this salon is NOT TRAINED to do lashes. She slapped clusters wherever she could. Very destructive to my natural eyelashes and not allowing any growth because of the way they were placed. It took an hour and 1/2 to get those eye lashes off with professional glue remover and my natural eyelashes are worse then before. This is a WARNING. Do not come here for lashes. read more

If there's one review you take seriously in your life, please let this be it. I am baffled at the service I received today. I had a male technician do my nails. I get dip nails religiously every two weeks. I've gotten them done at numerous salons, good and bad, and have done them myself at home. I'm very familiar with the products used and how to use them. The first time I ever had someone use the UV light on dip nails, I knew something wasn't right. Since that experience I'm very good about watching my nail tech do my nails and I make sure they use the correct products. Using gel top coat with the UV light on dip powder nails is WRONG. It's the easy shortcut that ruins the nails quickly and makes the removal process even harder and longer. Today I came in to Studio Nails because they were offering a discount and had availability. It started off fine until instead of dipping my nails into the powder, he used a fake nail to scoop the powder onto my nail. I noticed it cause some shade discrepancies but wasn't too worried because I know they use more than one coat. After he finished one hand, he had me place my hand under the UV light. He clicked the light three times so my hands were hurting after. This automatically raised a red flag for me. Not only do I know it's the wrong process, but my nails and skin are very sensitive to the light and burns me. I asked him to use the fan instead. He hesitated but I persisted and used the fan anyways. Once the dipping was done he asked me if I wanted the shiny coat. I thought this was weird because dip isn't ever matte. In order to get dip to be matte you need to seal with a top coat and use a matte coat on top of that. So that's really when I knew he was going to try to do the easy way and use the gel coat with light even after I asked him not to. I clarified and said "yes do the shiny coat but the one specific to dip powder. I don't want the gel coat used on top because it peels after a week and is harder to remove." He acted confused and I clarified it again. He confirmed he had the "right" coat. He applies a top coat then points to the UV light and says "just for one minute" I was like... no? I'm not using that. And he said the coat would not dry with the fan and I said so then you used the wrong coat. I specified before you put it on and told you exactly what I didn't want. So he goes to a coworker and finds another top coat. He removes the previous top coat with acetone, redips my nails and uses a different coat. However, the trick to dip powder nails is the activator. When you apply the activator, you need to wait a good 3-5 minutes for it to really dry. If you don't wait, no matter what top coat you use, it'll never dry. You'll end up with a sticky wet top coat. Obviously, this happened. I let them dry for a few minutes and went to touch them and they were tacky and stuck to my skin. At this point, he wasn't listening to me and I pinpointed every mistake he was making. He redipped both hands TWICE after he kept messing up. I watched him reapply the applicator and then told him "can we try something else? Can I let this dry for a while before you apply?" And he said it's already dry. So I let him apply it because clearly he needed to see another mistake he was making. After all of this, he finishes the application and I move my hands in front of the fan and he walks out of the salon. Mind you, my finger nails were not buffed after all of these coats, the acetone was peeling my skin, there was sticky residue down to my knuckles. I sat there drying my nails for a good five minutes before I asked another worker how much longer. She waved me off and said I was done. When I went to look at my nails, my left thumb nail was cracked in the top coat and half of it fell off. So you could see one layer of powder and then a cracked coat. Similar to how shellac peels off. I laughed out of frustration and showed the lady. She chuckled and started peeling another nail to confirm that it was indeed a mistake from the tech and not just a nail I accidentally messed up. I looked up and told her I didn't have time for them to get it right. I got there at 6 and it was now 7:20. She asked me if I wanted to come back tomorrow and I said "I really don't." She didn't charge me for the nails, thank god because I wouldn't have paid for this crap, but as I walked out I see the dude who did my nails strolling around the parking lot before getting into his car. He really just left when I wasn't even done. I've never experienced such incompetence at a salon. I told him multiple times what not to do and suggested the correct way. He even said to me "this is faster and easier" and I'm sure it is but it isn't correct. This is what happens when you take shortcuts. Do not waste your time here. read more

I used to like this place , but now every time i get my acrylics done , the nails pop off completely and/or break within DAYS, and then i have to pay extra for the broken nails when i get a fill. They also don't check if the nails are even in length and they don't let the polish dry at all between coats so it takes forever! definitely do not recommend this place. read more
