My friends and I took a girls trip down to New Orleans and wanted to do something to remember the trip by! So when I saw they recently opened a Studs in NOLA, we booked appointments! My two friends and I all got pierced by Scott. I highly recommend him as he is very thorough, very nice, and helpful. I'd like to preface this with saying I've had four other cartilage piercings and I've never had them heal as well as this one did! I don't know if it was the position because it catches on things way less or the spray they gave me. Scott was my piercer, highly recommend him because he was so nice and gave input on what he thought would look best. It's more of a boujee piercing place, but I would def go again and again because I'm so happy with the way this one turned out. I literally only got the piercing maybe a month ago and I was able to sleep on my side, even though I still tried not to! Not once did it try to have a keloid or an infection at all. Super happy with the piercing and Scott's professionalism and cleanliness! I wanted my piercing to be cute from the get go so I invested and got a cute little starburst gold filled earring. They also give you a cute little pouch with stickers and coupon codes after! I would also recommend buying their spray because it's the perfect mist. I did exactly as Scott said, sprayed on my piercing front and back, and let it dry! Worked wonders. read more

Scheduled my first piercing 3 days in advance, day of I get a text saying my appointment was cancelled. I look for other appointments and the website says they are taking walk-ins so I drive to the building. Unfortunately it is closed. why not mention this on your website? or not allow bookings that day? or offer a replacement appointment? or remove "walk-ins available" when the building is closed...Will be looking for a different first-time piercing establishment. read more

My mom and I visited Studs yesterday to get piercings. My mom had her tragus pierced, and I had my helix pierced. Our piercer was Scott and he did a wonderful job! The needles and tools he used were sterile and brand new. Studs has a clean, bright, and welcoming environment that made me feel confident that I would be leaving with a well done piercing. It's the next day and I have minimal swelling, which is normal, but other than that, I can barely feel my new piercing! Lastly, Studs also offer a variety of earrings, which can be bought separately or as a pair. I bought a pair of gold clickers for my second holes on my lobes and they fit comfortably and look great! I've been buying from studs for months but they finally opened this new shop and I just knew I had to get poked. The space was so clean and soooo fun looking. My friend and I are suckers for anything appealing to the eye lol. This was by far the best piercing I've ever had. It actually does not hurt at all after I got it pierced when usually my ear is throbbing. The spray they offer has a really nice spray so I know my ear is clean. I have been seeing STUDS ads on my instagram for a while now, & I decided it was just time to go in and get the piercing I have been wanting for a while now. I made an appointment, and went on in. My piercer was Rainbow, she was sooo sweet & so gentle with me. I honestly thought getting my conch pierced would hurt and I would regret it, but I literally could not be more wrong. It's been 2 days since getting pierced and I honestly don't even feel it. I thought for sure I would be sore or it hurt for a week or so, but it's been nothing short of amazing.
