First off, WOW. I feared walking in to get my tattoo done because I haven't had another one in 12 years! I'm not sure if it was the fear of the pain or artist...BOTH. Fear not, walking in V.tattooz was very welcoming. He was who I originally scheduled with and ended up having to switch artists last minute. Oh gosh, I was soo nervous but I think anyone who works under V is pretty skilled. So I was referred to PJ. PJ is the bomb. I just told him how nervous I was and he made me feel comfortable. I wanted a piece that would cover up my scar. PJ was super light handed , thank goodness. He was also really fast and took his time to make sure I was comfortable. I'll definitely be back and booking PJ for future appointments! Also, they're no longer located on Broad & Washington. Their new location is on magazine st right next to the bearded lady. What a wonderful shop! I'm a bit overdue in posting my review but the pleasure of our experience is still fresh and our thanks most sincere. Went to this tattoo shop with a friend for a nose piercing about two months ago. The piercer/tattoo artist PJ was really nice as was everyone else that works here. They have great prices, which is also a plus. They offer a few different happy hour specials. Fast forward to today. Since I had such a great experience my husband and son decided to go here and get their first tattoos. Their tattoo artist Smurf was really personable and cool. We felt like we have known him for years. He stated that he has been tattooing for about 13 years. He did a really nice job on their matching tats. My husband is already planning his return. Tatiana (Tati) was an artist I followed for a little while, before I scheduled an appointment with her. I knew she worked at We Bleed Ink, but comes back for guest spots. She mentioned she'd be at the shop 07/24- 07/31. I scheduled an appointment with her for on Sunday, July 31st, initially. Tati suggested that day, even though they were closed, she would be available for me, because she'd be busy throughout the week. After rescheduling the meeting time twice, she suggested coming in on Monday, around 8/9am. We ended up agreeing that I'd come in at 9:30am...then noon...then 1pm. I get to the shop, and I am then told, the session would only be around two hours-despite agreeing on a half-sleeve being done that day. I should have realized by then I wasn't dealing with a professional, but I also understand things happen, so I reluctantly agreed. The couple of hours of the session came and went, but was told she'd be willing to come back to NOLA, to finish my work at the end of the week, because she was guest spotting in Atlanta. At this point, I have disconnected lines on areas that should be connected, and NO lines, where some should be, but I thought this would be fixed when Tati returned to the city. NOPE! When she got back, Tati mentioned she wasn't feeling well, but she could finish the work at the end of that week. The end of the week arrives, I send multiple texts, and she isn't responding. I call multiple times, and she isn't responding, but on Instagram she's posting completed work on others, while I am trying to figure out why she's ignoring me! She explains she was in a car accident, and trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, I tell her she should have communicated that, instead of doing the opposite. I have offered Tatiana several opportunities to make this right, to no avail! I even reached out to the manager (Ashley) and was told she's going through some personal stuff, but the manager would get back to me with an update. I STILL haven't heard back from either one! I feel like my time was stolen, and so was my money, and I don't appreciate my kindness being taken advantage of. I had to end up going to a completely different shop, to fix the work this girl did. Life happens to everyone, so there's no excuse for unprofessionalism! To say I am disappointed in this person, and this shop is an understatement!!! read more

One of your piercers, Vega, thought it was appropriate to pursue someone when they said they weren't going to pursue them after doing an intimate piercing. This behavior should not be tolerated and I wouldn't want to ever go to someone that thinks it's OK to look through personal information to find them on social media and to pursue them, within days after piercing their nipples, it is absolutely vile, disgusting and disappointing. I cannot imagine how many times he has done this to others and made them feel uncomfortable. I wonder how much more business you would be getting if he wasn't such a creep to your clients. Change needs to happen and this will NOT go unnoticed. read more

***They keep deleting my review from Google Reviews*** My partner went in for a nipple piercing (an obviously intimate area) with Vega. The piercing was quick and easy and therefore conversation was very brief. Not even an hour after leaving the shop, my partner receives an Instagram notification that Vega is now following them, even though my partner did not give him their instagram or their name for that matter. So how he found them on social media is unknown and strange and invasive of customer privacy. He messages claiming he wants to be friends. Despite the creepy approach, actually seeking to make more friends, my partner agrees and is friendly and kind in response. Not even 48 hours later, he says that he is not looking to be friends and is interested in them as more than friends. This is absolutely disgusting and I am outraged. Whether the customer is single or not, to use his position in which he handles customer's intimate areas, find and follow them on social media, then make a move on them is absolutely gross! He is trusted to do a JOB. He is supposed to provide a service. Not use his position to gain access to customer's social media and hit on them. He is not entitled to customer's social media after they leave the shop. If he would've asked them in person, that is different. That would give them the option if they want him to follow or not. But he felt entitled enough to seek it on his own essentially immediately after the customer left the shop. I assume he got their name through their payment. Following them less than an hour later is creepy, invasive, and backs them into a corner. Additionally, he is not entitled to try to make a move on them; Which is so obvious, it feels weird that I have to say it. His actions are extremely disrespectful and disgusting. They are a customer and a person. Not an object that he has the right to pursue because they simply used his service. Following a customer on social media without their permission, claiming it is in pursuit of a friendship, then less than TWO days later state that those are not his intentions is extremely disgusting and vile. Absolute disrespect to their trust and the customer/employee relationship. He clearly was not interested in my partner for the few words they exchanged. He used his position to look at a CUSTOMER's private areas and pursue said CUSTOMER with immoral intent. I can't imagine how many customers he has done this too. Someone's daughter, wife, girlfriend, partner, mother, sister, cousin, or best friend. I really hate the thought that he has done this before. Stating this here so it DOES not happen to anyone else. If you're looking to get pierced, try to avoid this piercer with perverted intentions. WOW. Update: I called to file a complaint to the shop and none other than Vega himself picks up. I tell him the situation without stating that I know it was him. He immediately sounds nervous and shaky. Trying to save himself says that things like this 'happen all the time'. Things like this happen all the time??? Customers come in for a service then are pursued afterwards on social media?? That makes it okay? He was dismissive and actively against me leaving an online review. You can keep deleting my reviews. Reflects who you truly are. Protecting an employee like this is absolutely disgusting. You know what you did. At the very least, if you have even a SHRED of kindness, you would apologize. read more

When I walked into this tattoo shop, I felt a sense of relief, and calmness. The atmosphere is nice, the shop is nice, and the owner & his staff were very professional. The music that was playing wasn't demonic sounding, but was very mellow. I love how the tattoo artist has their spots closed off, with just them and their client. Sometimes people are afraid of others watching them, so that was very cool to me. The owner listened to me, and took me as a client immediately. We were able to share knowledge with one another, talking about topics from: bullying, depression, mental illness, suppression, and suicide (which is a topic that's near and dear to my heart). I would recommend this shop to anyone who's looking for a tattoo. Anyone of those artist can accommodate you and your needs. I will definitely be returning. read more

I had a 1:30pm appointment which was booked and accepted before Christmas. I happened to look the business up on Yelp to read reviews and read that they were no longer in the location on Google/Yelp and/or their Facebook page and website. They numbers are incorrect as well. We called prior to the appt and were told that he would call back with the address. I have called, text and emailed. It's 2:05pm and there has been no response. I do not understand what the point is of making an appt and paying a deposit. I have requested that my and my sister's deposit be refunded as we were getting sister tattoos in memory of our mom. Communication and respect for customers' time and money is lacking. Go elsewhere. read more

I only went there for a nose piercing, however, I ended up getting a nose and lip piercing due to their reasonable prices. I paid $40 for BOTH piercings and was taken care of by a really nice guy named Yo. He definitely knows how to pierce. He applied the correct amount of pressure which minimized the pain during the piercing. I absolutely loved the vibe there. It's a very cool and awesome place. read more

The first time I came, My friends and I all got piercings, the wait time was quite long but the guy who did it, Yo, was really nice. All four of us left with a piercing that we wanted. However, one of my friends had a crooked tongue piercing and he promised to fix it if it was still like that after the swelling went down. After a few weeks the piercing was still crooked, so we went back again to have him fix it. At that time he said that she should take the piercing out and come back in a week, which is what we did. NOW THIS IS WHEN THINGS TAKE A TURN. We go back for the third time, and the piercer who is supposed to fix it is on his break. Originally the first guy tells us that it'll be an hour before he gets back and we decide to wait. An hour passes and we talk to a different guy. He claims that he's in the middle of a tattoo, but promises he'll help my friend if the original piercer isn't back before he's finished. We sit on the couch for a whole second hour. That hour was long and no one seemed to pay any attention to us. Even though we spoke to three different people and had two of them call the original piercer, he still is no where to be seen. After sitting on the couch for so long with no help we then ask for a refund. The third guy, V, tells us that he cannot give us a refund. At this point it is 10:40 pm, we got there at 8:20pm. The guy suggests that he cannot do anything to help us except have us wait an extra 45 minutes before my friend can be seen. He wanted to have us wait until 11:30pm (30 minutes before they close) I tell him how bad his service is, being that we were there for TWO WHOLE HOURS and 20 minutes, and the man has the audacity to tell me that I should "tone it down". We have all been very kind and patient throughout our time there, so for him to say that was beyond rude and unsympathetic. The prices are cheap, but the store is full of unprofessionalism. It is a shame to have to wait that long to fix something that was their fault in the first place. read more
