This place rarely opens at 10am. Their prices are insanely high. A few employees seem to be held captive there against their will and appear offended when expected to perform a task. I am born and raised in Ocean Beach. This place used to take care of the locals but now they don't even stick to the discounts displayed. My lady and her friend went to purchase a new carb cap, I'm front of the bin stated buy one get one half off. When they were rung up, they charged full price. My lady said something about the discount not being a plied and he responded "oh, I've been meaning to take that down. If a discount is offered right in front of you then it is not honored? Worst experience ever. The guy who works there is very negative, pushy, aggressive and obviously trusts no one. The idiot took my i.d. and put it in his pocket just to look at cheap bubblers. It truly is art, the complicative designs in the glass shows true artistic abilities. I will say i have found cheaper shops outside of Ocean Beach, although the quality is great. If you are in San Diego and happen to come by Ocean Beach, I would recommend stopping by Stuff 2 Puff Smoke Shop just to browse around at least. Who knows, you may find something you love like I did. I was looking to pick up a nice Dab Rig, so I went down to Ocean Beach where they have several smoke shops all on the same street. I figured i'd shop around a little bit. When I reached Stuff 2 Puff I noticed the music inside was so loud it was shaking the building it's in. When I got into the store it was like having my brains scrambled it was SO LOUD!! I had to cover my ears while I looked at the Dab Pieces. I wasn't even able to concentrate, the concussion from the Micheal Jackson that was blaring was so insane. As this is going on I am standing looking and pointing at pipes I wanted to check out, but the one clerk that was there completely ignored me. As the song died down I asked the clerk if he could turn the music down. His words, verbatim "Oh no man, that's how you gotta do it...overwhelm the costumer with music and product, that way they just go home and buy stuff on the internet". Zero exaggeration, that's what this guy said. What!?!?! How do you intend to continue with a business if you intentionally frighten away customers so you can sit on your ass and do nothing???? Worthless dickhole!! I immediately left and will not return. I had a 100$ bill in my pocket to spend and these asshats couldn't even bother to turn down the music to make a sale. I will never return, and you should just got to The Black or Vishions right up the road. Don't waste your time here. read more

I stopped in here among my travels showing my friend visiting the lovely town of OB. I had just recently visited a hookah bar with said friend with a groupon and had taken such a liking to it I just had to know how much one costs... Needless to say I ended up coming home with my very own hookah, included with lovely mango tobacco and love it!! The girl behind the counter was also exceptionally knowledgeable and informative and talked me through the process of picking one out. Even with customers coming in I never felt like she wasn't answering my ditzy bowl of questions regarding my purchase. I really appreciated how attentive the guys were when I went in. I had been in two days in a row looking at a few different things and had two different guys help me and they were both great! I ended up not making a purchase the second day after being there a while and felt like I had wasted the guys time but he was really cool about it and welcomed us to come back if we needed anything. The prices are just slightly higher than places outside of OB but the same as the other ones near it. But to be able to go to a smoke shop at the beach and get A+ service the slight difference in price isn't a big deal. read more

So I just wanted to take a quick moment and recognize how crappy this store is... I've lived in Ocean Beach for around the last 15 years and alls I can say is take your business to Visions down the street... I went in there and spent over $100 on a vap pen less than a week ago... the day I bought it, the vaporizer broke and when I tried to take it back, the owner Gabby tried to "nickel and dime" me for $5 for a new one... the actual pen just broke and when I took it back (after speaking with the manufacturer who told me to bring this up with the retailer), again... the owner Gabby pretty much told me to fuck off and that there is nothing he can do... this shop sells faulty products that were probably a display item for awhile... so unless you want to spend a premium, deal with ass holes who don't listen and take your $ for broken products... again, Visions is down the street... Ok so....I thought I could trust these guys, you can't. Maybe they are unaware but they are selling knock offs of name brand vape pens. So finally my coil burnt out and I used the replacement coil given to me with the original on my cloud pen. It didn't fit correctly at first and finally when I got it to slide in I noticed the button was now jammed. So I started googling what I could do to fix my 100$ pen and started reading up on the difference between legit cloud pens and the knock off called cloud 2.0. This is a knock off that I paid full price for and now less than a year later it's broken. I barely use it, only on occasion while out of the house and definitely not everyday. Don't come here, don't spend your money, you WILL be lead astray. I'm mad and I won't be back. Hopefully I can spend my next 100$ on something that actually will work like it's supposed to. read more

First let me say that I smoke Hookah, nothing else. Alright now that I've cleared my name of any wandering possibilities I will say that this shop is well stocked on everything I could need for my hookah and without knowing much about other smoke options, it does appear to be well stocked in those as well. Two big plusz for this place.. First, it's clean. Some smoke shops are grimey and dark. The doors are always open at Stuff2Puff and the floors and counters are clean, this makes for light and inviting atmosphere. Secondly, the gal that works here is Awesome. She's always peppy, friendly and full of great suggestions on which shisha flavor I should try next. There are other place to purchase shisha in OB but there's no point in going when the best is clearly Stuff2Puff. read more

I would call this place the best pipe shop on newport. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have an amazing selection of hand pipes and a good selection of water pipes too. Their shisha an d other tobacco is always well stocked and fresh. They also offer vaporizers and sell parts to various smoking devices. They also carry Kratom! Bought a vape pen to help me quit smoking. The young kid behind he counter basically threw the bins at me and told me to pick one. He couldn't answer any of my questions (like how to fill it/etc.) he told me to just research it myself. He kept saying that I can use it for weed oil at least 8 times (cool bro) even though I told him time after time that it's it's solely for quitting smoking cigarettes. I almost bought just the pen (without the mouth piece or filter) because that's the only bin that he gave me. I second guessed my decision the next day and went back to return it with my receipt and nothing taken out of the packaging. The guy said that they won't do returns, just exchanges. Maybe they should train their retarded ass employees to tell customers that instead of completely screwing me. Now I'm out $50 for a piece of shit pen that isn't what I'm looking for because they were unhelpful and don't have the courtesy of telling customers that they don't do refunds. The guy who took care of me when I came back was rude and kept saying "it's posted all over our store that we don't do returns, and points to a sign that's up near the ceiling (I'm 5 feet tall, I'm obviously not looking near the damn ceiling) he kept saying to exchange it for oil. That makes sense, you know, since I then I would be trading in the pen for $50 worth of oil. What would I be smoking that $50 worth of oil out of then when I don't have a pen? Screw this place. Wouldn't you at least have a courtesy to return it when it's still in the packaging, unopened, with a receipt? Every other vape shop in OB has way better customer service and hires people who are knowledgeable about their products. I'll never be back and will encourage all of my friends and neighbors not to go here. read more

If you are even considering walking PAST this smoke shop, you better read this review. I was visiting San Diego from Tucson for my birthday during spring break this past Sunday. I had a little money left over after celebrating my 21st, so I decided to treat myself to a nice new pipe. I was so excited and really looking for the perfect one, so I walk into Stuff 2 Puff, near my hotel. A dark skinned man with short braids was the only one in the shop and immediately offered his opinion, picking out cool pipes for me to look at after I told him it was my birthday gift to myself. He showed me a really cool glitter pipe, and told me it was filled with glycerine, which you then put in the freezer. (Glycerine gets colder than ice, and it makes for a really smooth hit.) I was sold and paid 51$ total for it, because of that cool feature. Later that day I returned to Tucson and put it in the freezer. I came back to it shortly after completely shattered. My boyfriend called Stuff 2 Puff, and after trying to get through to a line that kept going dead, we finally reached some guy, who subsequently told us that in face the glass glitter pipe we bought was filled with water, and of course it would shatter once expanded from freezing temperatures. He mumbled something about the man we described not knowing what he was talking about, and then HUNG UP on us, and when we tried to call back after, he would let it ring, then hang up on us. Called a million times. No machine. No person. Dead line. And I can't go back there because I'm in Tucson for school. I could not be more livid or disappointed with my treatment at Stuff 2 Puff. What kind of a business thinks it can treat its customers like that? Make complete lies up about the items they carry, then refuse communication or complaints? Who would hire such an ignorant person, who customers are forced to believe is the expert on the matter? BOTTOM LINE: NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE BUSINESS. Great shop! Swung by today to purchase a vaporizer. It was my first time purchasing one and Wayne was knowledgeable and more than helpful in explaining the different parts and elements of the vaporizer. It is more of a smoke shop than a vaporizer shop. I called this smoke shop ahead of time to get some information on some detox products. The guy was super nice over the phone and super helpful so I decided to drive over which was a 20 minute drive from my house because he seemed so helpful instead of going to the smoke shop right down the street. Only to pull up and find them closed at 7:30 PM tonight. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to jump in the car, leave your kids for 45 minutes all for nothing. It was a complete waste of my time energy and gas. Plus now that I'm driving back home writing this review I still don't have what I need and I'm gonna have to go back to the smoke shop right down the street from my house that I should've gone to, to begin with. In addition, I specifically asked the guy what time did they close over the phone to avoid this situation. Pretty freaking crappy right? If you have a business hours please conduct business during those hours. But to say that you're open and then have people drive over there and be closed several hours before you're supposed to be for whatever reason is totally not cool!!! read more

I have worked in retail business for 6 years and the customer service industry for the past two years and the woman at the shop who helped me today was so amazing! Sadly I did not ask her name! I would recommend to take huge purchases elsewhere for this place doesn't have good return or store credit policies. I bought a vaporizer from these guys, firstly it was priced $70 more than the manufacturers, and secondly it did not work ( no vapor, did not charge correctly). I went back multiple times to only have them challenge my knowledge of how the thing worked. I stood in the area for hours so the guy can give it a charge and give it a second try so that in the end he would not be able to help me with anything. I went two days later to try and talk to the manager, but she wasn't there for her shift. I not only received poor customer service , but payed $70 dollars more for a thing that didn't work and I was left to deal with the manufacturers. read more
