Service was good. Food - Kale greens were very good, and even better with hot sauce. Black eyed peas were flavor-lacking. BBQ jackfruit was just ok. Potato salad was ok. Yams were a healthier, ok version of southern yams. Not horrible, but not the yummy yams we're used to eating at holidays. I didn't try the cornbread. Mock Chicken salad was good, but not the best. I'm disappointed that this place failed to measure up to the hype.

My friend wanted to introduce me to a new restaurant called The Stuff I Eat in Inglewood, California. As a pescatarian and primarily vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of options on the menu. I decided to try a Mexican casserole and ordered it spicy. It was absolutely delicious! I was so glad I chose that dish, and there was so much food that I had to save some for another day. I returned, and my wife ordered the lentil soup while I got the Mexicali again. It was just as delicious as before; however, neither of us liked the cornbread. I also got to meet the owner, who is a very progressive LA native. She mentioned that her business partner is my friend, the famous Reverend Dr. Michael B. Beckwith of The Secret and Agape International Spiritual Center The atmosphere is really relaxed and feels almost like home. I highly recommend this establishment with the great music, art, and overall vibe. Tell them Omar sent you!

We came here on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of street parking since this area is not too busy. They were closing early that day, but luckily we came in 30 minutes before closing and were able to order. We ordered a half portion of the specialty salad with one scoop of "chicken" salad (made with tofu) and then tuna salad (made with carrots) and and a taco. We also had a beet lemonade to top it off. The portions were very generous and everything was good. I think this place is for people who really like to eat healthy. My partner is not one of those people, and so he wasn't a big fan of things like the tuna salad, which he said tasted too much like carrots. I loved the earthy taste but agree that it can be too much for the normal person. It was very earthy tasting but in a good way. The corn tortillas had this rich flavor of corn and were served very warm (two slices of corn tortillas came with the salad). For these dishes, we paid almost $40 including tip, so this place is not the cheapest but it is delicious. The restaurant has many tables and large ceilings. And they have many good options. I wish there were more places like this generally. So delicious and healthy!

Everyone was friendly at this vegan restaurant during my day trip to Inglewood. I ordered a burrito without tofu, packed with veggies and black beans. The chips were excellent, and the side salad was a nice addition.

The Corn Bread. It was horrible.

The food was trash out. I have eaten there before and it was great. If You are going to service the public please make the food the food correctly. I spend good money on this food.

After being next-door, making some clay art we got hungry. And there was a long line outside of the other restaurant next-door so we decided to try some plant-based food. The service of the cashier was nice but we could have been greeted sooner or told where the menus were. When we asked what was the suggestion or most popular dish, the cashier kind of hesitated to answer, which was fine. So we got the beet lemonade first and went back in order two burritos and two soul Food plates to feed three people and have leftovers. The Mexican inspired food that was served in the box, was really good. It tasted very fresh, and the flavors complimented each other very well. I wish I could say the same for the soul plate. At home I often do Cook plant-based and I know how to make really good vegan Mac and cabbage and yams etc. etc. etc. but honestly if I ever do come back I will not be ordering the soul food plate again. We spent over $100 to not be satisfied with our food. I was happy that after tasting two bites From one Styrofoam packaging, I scooped out what my fork touched with a brand new spoon and was able to give it to a house person on my way home. It did not go to waste, but I did not enjoy it. I didn't want this to be taken negatively, but I should have went back to the counter and ask for something different or let them know that it just was not up to par. The ambience inside is non-structured. So we end up sharing a table with a couple of women that were not part of our party but we did not mind it's kinda like a cafeteria vibe first come first serve seating, but at least there was a large window to people watch Outside. It really pains me because I was really rooting for this establishment and hoping that things would taste better

We came and tried some of the healthy vegan comfort food. We got the nachos and the pick 5 build your own bowl deal. We got the bbq tofu, the mac and cheese, potato salad, sweet potato's, and black eyed peas. Came with corn bread. Bbq tofu and mac and cheese were good, potato salad and sweet potato's just bearable. Cornbread tasted like a sand castle. Sorry but just didn't even taste like corn to me. Nachos were absolutely gigantic and pretty decent. Good bang for your buck with those for sure if you get a full order make sure to share. Interior was clean and the workers were really nice. Food came out quick and parking was easy.

First time here. Picking up Wild Rice Tacos and Enchilada Pie Bowl! Nephew will love this. Nice and clean, great ambiance A good selection of variety items on menu. Can't wait to delve in.

The stuff I ate at Stuff I eat: Mac n cheese, Nut Burger, and Nachos. #Vegan #Veganuary

I kissed my burger and I liked it!! I know what you're thinking, soooo let me explain. I arrived at Stuff I eat (also known as SIE), ohh let's say cocktail hour, which is conveniently located in downtown Inglewood. I got wind of a vegan restaurant there and so I came in for a spot of lunch. A sophisticated menu where the main focus is on meatless dishes for all to enjoy. I ordered the Mac n Cheese, the half nachos, and the nut burger. The Mac n cheese was nice! The nachos were delicious and filling. The nut burger was their crown jewel for me with their house made patty. I prefer house made patties as opposed to mock meats. It was served on Ezekiel buns (You have the best buns and oh you too) with German mustard. A side of cottage fried potatoes and It was served with a side salad that had mango dressing. The caramelized onions in the burger were nicely caramelized--this monstrosity was piled high. It was at this point I kissed my burger, all the textures and flavors were incredible. Every ingredient had a story. I could not wait to make it disappear and I devoured it like a lady. Chefs kiss from the Burger queen. Lastly, I must mention they wrapped my to-go nut burger in parchment paper before wrapping it in foil. Taking the extra step to protect the food as well as keeping the food warm. The little things were not so little and did not go unnoticed. I appreciate when restaurants go the extra mile. Nevertheless, I cannot wait to go back and I already have my eyes on the LAVA burrito and the organic soul food sampler platter. Fancy an adventure for you tastebuds? Let me assure you, that whoever you are this place is a taste of home. It's not only a vibe. It's an experience. I'm intrigued. As they have truly mastered the art of nourishment with plantbased vibes. Everything artfully made with plants. Restaurant Magic! If you want fresh, unique, and nutritious food you know where to go. I was looking forward to meeting Chef Babette Davis but she was not in on the day I visited. Hopefully, on my next visit. #Veganuary "Life is a series of tiny miracles, notice them!" I had lunch with my mom today after picking her up from the airport. It's one of my favorite vegan restaurants located not too far from LAX. Parking here was easy as there were plenty of meters right outside that were available. The restaurant was busy for lunch but there were still a few open tables. The service was very friendly and the cashier was super helpful. The food came out in takeout containers despite that we dined in, but maybe because of COVID or short staffing they are eliminating plates and silverware. The food was very tasty and flavorful. My favorite dish to get there is always the enchilada pie but everything I've ever tried has been amazing. I got it medium spice which had a great kick! I love the well decor and it's such an eclectic and mellow vibe being there,

This place was by far one of the best plant based vegan restaurants around LA County. I'm so glad my friend messaged me and asked if I would like to go to this restaurant. I've been wanting to go for a while. I even been contemplating ordering from Postmates but I wanted to go into the restaurant instead of using the delivery service. The food was 100% top tier deliciousness! I ordered the soul plate with the bbq nut burger as my replacement for the tofu and the jackfruit. The soul plate consist of yams, kale greens, potato salad, Mac n' cheese, black eyed peas, cornbread and the bbq nut burger (or the option of tofu or jackfruit). I also ordered the beet lemonade and the oatmeal cranberry cookies. Everything was full of flavor and tasted so amazing! The service was excellent! Chef Babette engaged with every customer and even explained the importance of eating plant based vegan. She was so nice and might I add absolutely beautiful!! I'm so glad we chose this restaurant to get lunch. Now this will be our go to spot for great vegan food even though my friend is not vegan.

My go to is the Seoul bowl it's so good and perfectly marinated while still being health conscious 5/5. The newer tikka masala has been a fav lately- it's veggie based but the spices and flavor are on point, just as delicious as a non-vegan dish! While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.
