Driving by you might think this is a weed shop....but honestly eclectic excellence is the only way I can describe the ambiance! There's literally something for everyone even a mortal combat retro gaming console to round out the concrete jungle decor. Let me elaborate there's a beautiful mix of artistic graffiti style street art and beautiful synthetic greenery and a wildlife video playing on the big screen with lo-fi music chilling in the background. The menu is a video menu and it's your guess what's in anything. You order at the counter where the cashier is ready for you super attentive and has a communal feel as I observed interactions with one of the regulars! I want the sushi but there's no breakdown of what's in it surf and turf sushi? What does that mean for a vegan place? I overcome my analysis paralysis by way of what I see playing on the screen to the right. The alkalize sushi roll that looks good.... I still have no idea what's in it How do you want it with chickpeas, crispy mushrooms or both. Let's go for both! I still don't know what else is in it, I ask about the juice of the day is mango and there's SOURSOP!?! Lord I'm SOLD!!!! Ok and the desert is looking tasty I'm going all in! With getting my food to-go, From ordering until I got my food was around 10min. When my order is ready my name called I'm then asked if I want any sauces she lists them off all sound amazing but for a sushi like roll I'm going with the buffalo hot sauce. She then grabs a juice the desert and before I leave I have to try it! One mistake I wanted the soursop juice but got the mango instead but I'm not upset it was perfect! Fresh ripe pure blended mango god that was so good!!! Now the roll.... I take a bite and I'm nearly crying it's so good. Nori outside quinoa instead of rice, garbanzo bean, crispy mushroom, avocado and I have no idea what else is in it!!! LOL It was flavorful and filling! I could just get the roll and be good the buffalo sauce is not necessary but even that seems house made and is delish. Like how TF do I have this epic abundant meal with drink and desert and walk out at $32.50 pre tip?!?! The desert is a big square piece of mango glaze topped cheesecake on a raw walnut crust. To be honest this wasn't very cheesecake like it was smooth creamy light but filling, it reminded me of a tres leches or could be an epic tiramisu! Needless to say as its own thing it's perfection! After eating everything I was full but none of the food was super heavy or super fatty so I thankfully did NOT regret my food choices afterwards LOL! Next time and, I'm going back, I will get the roll with only the crispy mushroom and I want my soursop! So good and such a hidden gem and actually affordable! Minus one star as the menu for a newb has no descriptions of the items and to accost the cashier with questions holding up the line is not ok. Minor factor with the cheesecake it's not like what someone would expect from a cheesecake, like zero tangy flavor profile and water based instead of fatty. I'm not upset but it will throw people off and menu clarity will alleviate any issues!

Of all the vegan locations I've tried this has to be the worst and least tasty vegan food. No flavor at all no sauce not enough options. Customer service was ok. I wouldn't recommend

The food was amazing I had Berria mushroom tacos, so tasty and spicy with a large amount of mushrooms nestled in a delicious tortilla with an sauce that was fresh and warm. Not little street tacos but an old school size. My guy had a burrito and he said it was delicious, also mushroom Service at window, the owner was polite and friendly and was excited about establishment. The dining area isn't large but we found a booth right away and enjoyed our meal. Definitely will return to try other vegan and healthy options

I love when vegan and healthier options are closer in the city and was interested in seeing what all they had to offer! I thought the service was extremely helpful as she gave us advice from a non-vegan's perspective which helped make the choices easier. I found the fries to be different but pretty good as well as the chicken wrap they offered. I wanted to enjoy the desserts but they didn't do it for me unfortunately but regardless glad I got to try it out.

Came in last night after hating all day and was not disappointed. I ordered the Schicken sandwich and regular potato fries and the fresh soursop juice. I noticed the juice was very fresh and delicious as I drank it while I waited for my order. Once I got my order I was pleasantly surprised that they don't skimp out on the portions, there were plenty of fries and mushrooms on my sandwich and I ended up taking half the sandwich home. I definitely recommend coming here because the service was good and the food.

I don't know. I love vegan food and used to be hard core. I drove to this spot after I saw a tik tok video. I wasn't sure what to get and the lady gave me suggestions but nothing sounded great. I opted for the "steak" taco and chow mean with "chicken". I also grabbed the strawberry/guava sea moss concoction for 10 bucks. That wasn't very good and I still have most of it in my fridge. Taco was fine. Mushy but flavored nicely. I would get that again. Chow Mein was confusing. I took 2 bites and I don't know if the flavor is fighting each other or its just a bad dish. It doesn't even taste like chow mean! The chicken does not go with the chow mein as it's seasoned differently. I will try them once more but not any time soon. I won't get that drink again...I will not get the pasta dish either. Also, service was fine with the young lady but then her boss started talking to her about the fridge or some business stuff while she was finishing up with me. He never glanced my way, said excuse me or smiled. He acted like I wasn't even there. My total was 32 or 35 dollars. I don't know...customer service is top for me and if a business doesn't have it, why should I patronize them?! I was disappointed with my meal. There was nothing of note to make me wanna return. Oh, well...

It is a small eatery on the corner in Inglewood. The inside is small and looks like a cute neighborhood joint. The menu listed many favorites seen in non vegan restaurants so that was comforting. I ordered the natural cut fries, steak, fried chicken and birria tacos. The fries were tasty but I wish they were a bit crisper. The fried chicken taco made with oyster mushrooms was so good along with the birria taco, nice flavor. The steak was not my favorite, it has an unseasoned mushroom taste which was not enjoyed by my taste buds! All in all, the staff were polite and service was quick, i received my order quickly.

The mushrooms and tamales were delicious and I highly recommend trying these two items!! Very down home soul food vegan food -- seasoned to perfection! Will provided great customer service and explained the menu items extremely well! Super nice young man. The dining area needs to be updated. The main thing which is the food was amazing. Definitely check them out!

    Alkaline Loaded Burros

Not the best food but decent. The food lacks flavor but the sauces make up for it. I prefer seasoned food over adding hot sauce or any sauce for that matter. I would try it again though.

Really affordable tasty vegan food in LA wonderful variety and quality ingredients. The guy working was very helpful when it came to answering questions. Comfortable seating and chill vibes

Found this place through instagram and I'm glad I did. I ordered the alkaline loaded Mac and the guy at the register said I could do half Mac and half pesto, so I did and it was amazing! Soooo good. My partner ordered the shicken wrap which was also delicious. We received three different sauces on the side that worked so well with the wrap. I was honestly glad that this place wasn't all hype and actually had good flavor to back it up. I would definitely come back and I think everyone should give it a try. If the flavor alone won't keep you coming back the ingredients sure will. They use avocado oil, oyster mushrooms and chickpea base flour for most of their food, and it's such a relief from other vegan places that are soy based only. As someone who is intolerant to soy, I really appreciate that this vegan place didn't give in to an easy way to produce vegan fast food. Thank you! Oh I almost forgot! Their mango cheezcake is to die for! It's the cake that gives on giving, after that initial bite, the flavors not only linger but also twirl in your mouth. It's really good, even if you're not vegan, you should give the mango cheezcake a try, you won't regret it. If you're on the fence on this place, do it! It's worth it!

Location: it's on a corner and parking can be found behind the restaurant. It's easy to drive past it but if you are searching for vegan options this has soo many options from salads, wraps, cauliflower bites, fried bananas and soo much more. Inside they have seating options or you can order to go which we opted for since we were heading to an event at sofi. It's about 15 minutes from sofi but under 6 miles from sofi stadium. Staff was friendly, and provided his recommendations which was helpful. The food was delicious and my favorite was the "shiken wrap" with tons of veggies and quality of the wrap. He gave us several sauces to try and one was a little spicy but perfect for the wrap. Everything was made fresh upon ordering and I noticed they do have desserts ready but didn't get a chance to try it. Inside it was quiet and clean with a lot of detail in the paintings inside. Very calm inside

Ordered take out from VegainzLA. Their online website wasn't working but I was able to call in. Make sure you're calling the right one as there's multiple locations. It's a small shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Steak Wrap - Super flavorful but it kinda all had the same taste. Really wished there was another component that brought some freshness or acidity to the wrap. The texture of the mushrooms also made the wrap super chewy. The choice of greens inside (I think it was either kale or chard), also made it difficult to chew. I did appreciate its size for the price and how spicy it was. I think I might have chosen the wrong menu item. I don't want to write this place off even though I didn't love my meal. I really want to try their "chicken" sandwich which I believe is their most popular item. Also appreciated how they gave out free sauces. Going to give this place another shot next time I'm in the area!

Rye bread good quality, delicious+ thanks for grilling it.$2 dollars for one piece of !!!

Was not aware that Costco pharmacies operate under a Chick-Fil-A style regime. I got to LA Vegan about twenty minutes before it opened at 11AM, so I walked around the block a few times to get my steps in. When I finally got in and ordered, the employee told me "it's going to take a while because we have to turn everything on". I wasn't going to order anything to drink, but given the projected long wait time, I added a cup of green tea to my order. Almost 30 minutes passed and I still hadn't received anything. Not even my cup of tea. I'm no restaurateur, but it's my personal opinion that if you open at 11AM (a time at which the day is already almost half over) you should be ready to prepare food at 11AM. At the very least, you should be able to throw a mug of water in the microwave and bring me my tea within 5 minutes. My order finally came out after half an hour, the Deluxe Breakfast with a cup of green tea. It wasn't cold, per se, but given the wait time I was surprised to see it wasn't piping hot. Problems aside, the food was pretty enjoyable. It was a classic American-style breakfast, fluffy pancakes, and a well salted tofu scramble with a crisp hash brown on top. I could have done without the bacon strips, but the single sausage had a nice flavor. It was good, but nothing outstanding. I will say, however, that'd I'd venture to guess that breakfast isn't the most popular item on their menu. In the end, I left pretty stuffed and satiated. The staff was apologetic of the long wait, but it doesn't erase the fact that I was on the verge of ripping my hair out. I'd probably go back though! Lots of things on the menu I wanted to try.

Fried Chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. 2. Meatloaf with rice and gravy and cabbage. 3. Fried chicken dinner with greens, macaroni and cheese, and dressing with gravy. A guy at a nearby table mentioned that the chicken was overcooked but we requested a light fry and really enjoyed the chicken. The green beans were seasoned perfectly with sliced carrots and onions. The only two issues were the cabbage wasn't seasoned well and needed to be cooked longer. Also the cornbread was not sweet and was reheated in a microwave. Overall all of us enjoyed our meal! Plus the strawberry lemonade was delicious and not too sweet. If back in Cali, I'll be back!

Then finally came the next people, whose order took an exorbitant amount of time as well. I took note of the growing line behind me but figured it's a popular place and this is how it usually works here. I ordered the short rib lunch with collard greens and black eyed peas, with sweet potatoes as an extra side. The lady charged me for a dinner (bigger portions and more expensive), which I realized when I got my meal and looked at my credit card statement. I waited for 15 minutes at the pick up window before asking about my meal, and the guy said it's being packed up. Another 10 minutes, and the people behind me are picking up their meals and are noticing I haven't gotten mine yet. One of them says something. They say it's coming. After another 10 minutes I finally get my food, in a paper bag that is already soaked in grease to the point of it falling apart by the time I get to my car. There's something on their window saying they can't use plastic bags because of some law. I go to a liquor store and buy some plastic bags so this grease doesn't get all over my car. I look in the bag, everything is leaking all over everything, and the 2 cornbreads that come with the meal are nowhere to be seen. I drive BACK to the place, wait 5 minutes for someone to show up at the back window, and ask for the cornbread that was supposed to come with my meal. This is now going on an hour from the time I placed my order. They finally get them to me. I drive to my destination, and begin eating. Black eyed peas are delicious. Collard greens are delicious. Cornbread is wonderful, but really greasy. I dig into the short rib - which by the way I paid $30 for. It's literally 80% gristle and fat. There is almost no meat. I'm trying to find the little tiny bits of meat in the generous portion of meat and am coming up with basically fat. Most of it is getting spit out. I pays for meat, not fat. Lesson learned. I will come back but only for sides and if I'm adventurous I'll try the baked fish or something though that also scares me after this questionable experience. It's obvious they bought the cheapest meat they could, didn't trim it, charged a lot for it and sold it at a price that would warrant high quality meat. The flavor was great but I paid for meat, not throw away chewy gristle. Like I said, I will come back but will most likely order only sides, as they are really good.
