Stopped by for brunch after hearing my friends rave about The Big Bopper which is a massive burger that's definitely shareable. My boyfriend and I split one and were stuffed. It was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but solid if you're in the mood for a hearty bite. Now the real star? The carrot cake. Hands down one of the best I've had. It was so fresh, moist, and unbelievably soft. I'm still dreaming about it. If I come back, it'll be for that carrot cake alone. Also loved the peach Italian soda. Stuffy's is back!!! Was finally contacted by owner who ended up sending me a gift card to come back. Couldn't be happier with the experience! I had never tried the Bloody Mary's but now I'll be getting one every time. A whole strip of bacon, a stalk of celery and 3 green olives in each one. So delicious. The Cobb salad and BLT were perfect, tons of meat in both. The beef barley soup as a side with the BLT was also really good. Servers were nice and everything was clean. So happy to add this back to my rotation of places to eat in Longview. Stuffed is exactly how you're going to leave here. If you're looking for small portions, then you should go literally anywhere else. The parking lot is big, just like everything else there. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was flavorful, and you could tell it was hand breaded in house. The fries were a bit soggy, so I'd pass on those next time. My friend ordered the Cobb salad, and it was huge. It probably lasted 2-3 meals. They have a huge cinnamon roll, and when I say huge, I mean it's so big it has to go in a cake box. Fun place to stop and watch as we drove the I-5 corridor from Vancouver to Olympia. A little bit off the freeway, but it was easy navigation to and from the freeway. It's an all-American diner type food where they serve breakfast all-day. I had a traditional club sandwich w/fries. Fries are natural-cut fries. Which I like b/c I know they are fried to order. Club was really good! My friends had chicken strips and fries and another got an omelette. The strips looked nicely fried and she gave them a thumbs up. The omelette seemed meh, to me. She ordered a side of gravy to go with it. They have H*U*G*E cinnamon rolls (that made it in TV on The Food Network) for outrageousness. Prices are decent (I mean in this world today, you can go anywhere and not spend less than $20 on a single meal, I brought a mini size cinnamon roll home and I would say meh, it wasn't anything to write home about. Popular for a reason. Comfort diner vibe is very good. Welcoming and one is never bored from nothing to look at. Little things everywhere. It's very busy with things but not so cluttered that it feels one can't move about and enjoy the uniqueness of the place. Nice humor within the full menu. A gigantic cinnamon roll for $58 is a signature item. Has to be ordered at least a day in advance. Was hoping to get their "mini" version but they were out of them. Darn. This place is always filled with flies every where and has a very weird smell that seems like the place has a hygiene problem in general. The food is very generic but fine if you just want some slop. On my daughter's 13th birthday, she asked to come to Stuffy's because they give you a mega cinnamon roll for free, so we decided to stop in. If you've never been here, the place gives off diner vibes with license plates on the walls and Americana memorabilia. They also have a wall covered in photos of people that were capable of eating a huge plate of loaded potatoes (called "stuff"). The waitstaff was very attentive and super friendly. My daughter and her friend tried the "cool seven", a Sprite with Kool-Aid ice cubes. They ordered items from the breakfast menu (available all day) while my wife and I ordered lunch. I can't stress this enough - the portions are gargantuan. Seriously, you're not gonna leave this place hungry. When the food came out, it was hot and delicious. At the end of our meal, the staff came out and sang a little song to my daughter and delivered her free and extremely large cinnamon roll. No really, we're talking a cinnamon roll the size of a cake. It was delicious. There was no way we were going to eat the entire thing. The waitress commented that many people will take the cinnamon roll and turn it into French toast at home. Tried stuffy with my wife today and to the person who said the chicken fried steak was the best, damn, don't know where you been eating but our breakfast was terrible. The chicken fried steak had to have been pre made and the alleged meat looked like an over pressed Mc Donald's chicken nugget. We didn't even eat half our order. Stuffy's II is not for the faint of heart. We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Mount St. Helen's on Father's Day and we left completely...stuffed. First off, service was great. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy, we were greeted and sat in a timely manner, and our server was great about refilling our drinks and checking in on us periodically. The food was fantastic! Just what you are looking for when you want a hearty, stick-to-your-ribs type breakfast. I ordered the ham steak, eggs, and hash browns. The ham steak was HUGE; I barely got through a third of that bad boy. Eggs were done perfectly, and the hash browns had that right combination of crispy and soft that equals breakfast potato heaven. My kiddo ordered a medium pancake, and it was the size of a platter. Other kiddo ordered the chocolate chip pancake which was equally as large. Good eating all around. Long-running diner in Longview serving pretty decent comfort food and massive cinnamon rolls with a 50s car culture vibe. Went a couple times for lunch during a recently business trip. Our server was friendly on both occasions with fast drink service, but the food service both times was sluggish. I tried the veggie omelette that was pretty solid, with a side of hash browns. I also had the French Dip that was decent (a bit on the dry side), but I found the au jus to be far too salty to make it a satisfactory dish. I first began eating at Stuffys in about 1989 at the old location. It's always been LOTS of decent, solid food at a pretty decent price. I didn't give the 5 stars for the food. Though it is quite good, it's American diner food. (which I personally love) I gave the 5 stars for the owners. Truly local business people who care about the community and have always been known for giving folks a second chance. I also heartily applaud the way that these owners stood up to massive govt pressure during the ridiculous scamdemic. They paid massive, totally ludicrous fines just to stay in business. 5 stars for Rachel alone. She was an absolute rockstar from the moment we walked in the door. Offered us a booth, and when we requested a table instead, we were told sure, choose any that are open. She offered to take away a chair to make room for my mom's walker. She was patient with our ordering. All while moving from the front desk/cashier, making sure her seated customers were getting their meals and taking orders. All done with the nicest smile and sweetest attitude. She was so nice to help me get momma up from the table, as she tends to dally with her dementia.
