The rods break very easy. Not that impressed considering the carrier cost close to $100.

Oh my goodness! We have been in Mud Bay multiple times, each time has been a great experience…read more Today, was life changing. We walked in to get our pups weighed and to figure out a rain jacket for our boy Flip Flop. SeKai, a wonderful sales associate came over to help out, especially with the re-hanging of the tried on jackets. Realizing that Flip Flop was acting anxious and asked us if we have ever tried a thunder vest. Ummm nope, thinking do they really work?? SeKai was pretty much no pressure, try it, if you like it get it if you don't no worries. So she helped put it on, and with in seconds my anxious pup is calm. Of course we got it! It's not the vest I am reviewing here of course, what I want to say is what a wonderful environment Mud Bay is, and how employees like SeKai make it that way. Our appreciation soars with the kindness, knowledge, and the love of animals we felt today. Thank you for making a difference in our fur babies life and thank you for taking the time to do so.

Last month she was diagnosed with an aggressive sarcoma (tumor) in her mouth and I went straight to this location for soft food for her and they were helpful and kind and took the time to pet Porsha and listen to her needs and help find solutions. We went back again when I could t get her to take her meds and got some pill pockets and bacon flavored fruit roll ups to hide her pills in. Again, they were so kind and helpful. We are helping our baby cross the rainbow bridge this weekend and we made one last stop to Mud Bay for her last couple of days food and treats and my daughter brought her in and the staff went above and beyond as always. She came home crying, so grateful for their kindness and the love they showed Porsha. I will always recommend this location and this company. Thank you again to the amazing employees and their dedication to their job and our pets.

I feel this establishment does not even deserve 1 star. Here's the reason why…read more... We took our 7-month-old Dachshund puppy, Chewy, to Soggy Doggy yesterday evening for a nail trim shortly before closing time, and unfortunately, the experience was very upsetting for both our puppy and us. During the nail trim, Chewy yelped multiple times in discomfort, which immediately concerned us. What stood out most to me was that the same nail appeared to be trimmed repeatedly several times, and each time Chewy reacted more anxiously and vocally. As a pet owner, I found it difficult to watch, and it left me feeling uncomfortable about the handling process. I understand that puppies can sometimes be nervous during grooming, and nail trims are not always easy. However, we have previously taken Chewy to other grooming establishments, including Petco and PetSmart, for nail trims and have never experienced this level of distress from him before. I was also surprised that during the nail trim, we were asked questions about Chewy's diet and food choices. While I understand businesses may offer additional services or products, I personally felt that the focus at that moment should have remained on carefully completing the nail trim and ensuring our puppy was comfortable and calm. At the end of the appointment, Chewy also left with a noticeable hangnail. We declined the nail buffing add-on service, but even so, I did not expect his nails to be left in that condition after the trim. Overall, this experience left us questioning the level of handling, training, and attention to pet comfort during grooming services. As pet owners, we trust groomers and staff with the safety and well-being of our animals, and unfortunately, this visit did not leave us feeling confident. Because of this experience, we will not be returning with Chewy in the future. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as gentle handling, professionalism, and pet comfort are extremely important, especially with young puppies who are still learning to trust grooming experiences.

My fiancé dropped him off with his dog bed and a bag of food on a Saturday and I picked him up the next day on Sunday. My pup was pooped! he slept in the car all the way home, and proceeded to sleep the rest of the day. He had a healthy appetite the next morning (they always warn that your pup probably won't eat much in the first few days due to the change in environment) and he was back to his normal self. We also had him bathed before he came home, he looked great and smelled amazing too. When I picked him up, the receptionist remembered who I was, what pup I brought in, and why we had him stay (it was my bachelorette weekend and he honey had to work all day Sunday) anyways, she told me he did great and that this morning he was in the backyard having a blast with a lab and golden doodle. I have nothing bad to say about the treatment of my pup. He sure seemed to have a great time!

I walked in and the place smelled terrible. The facility is very worn and dirty. The single staff member, Melody, was the only good thing in the whole situation. Facility was grossly understaffed, and management was rude to her when she required information or corrections to accounting. Picked dogs up and our Boston Terrier had bloody diarrhea. They made no note of this and did not mention it. Took her to the vet and was diagnosed with a parasite. Emailed the owners and facility to advise and request reimbursement. Radio silence from them. DO NOT BOARD HERE!
