I took this dress to Todd Layne Cleaners on E. 77th Street for the first time. This dress had been professionally dry cleaned several times in the past with no problems. When I picked it up, the color had been dramatically faded and the dress was clearly damaged. After I contacted the cleaner, it took Todd Layne two days to respond. His only explanation was that there must have been an issue with the dress manufacturer and that I should contact them directly. There was no acknowledgment of responsibility, no apology, and no attempt to resolve the situation. I'm posting before-and-after photos so you can see the difference for yourself. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Todd Layne Cleaners. If you have garments that are valuable or sentimental, you may want to think carefully before entrusting them to this cleaner.

The clothes were returned in a plastic bag liner inside my hamper so the clothes stayed clean and the bag was very compact/easy to carry. There were no missing clothes and no damage. My clothes smelled very good and were grouped so all similar clothes were together and socks were paired. It ended up saving me so much time with putting away laundry because everything was so organized. In total, I probably spent less than 10 min on laundry between dropping and pick up the clothes myself and putting the clothes away. The price is also very worth it as well as the free pickup/delivery (~20lb of laundry was $23). Will definitely be going back!

The workers did not even have the decency to reimburse me for the jacket nor a fraction of the lost shirts. They simply replied to me if I'm sure it's not home and to check again triple times. They kept repeating themselves. They're japanese and couldn't speak well in english. The ethical way to handle business is by reimbursing the customer if they made a huge error. It's unprofessional for the owner to aggressively yell or blame the customer. Even the neighbors heard the altercation, one of them told me this has happened before. The owner is simply nasty and doesn't care. I commend you all to get your service done elsewhere. You may have gotten lucky once or more but one day this can happen to you too!!
