I paid for dry cleaning. When I got the cloth it was clearly not cleaned and just went through some semi press. All my old stains, wrinkles are still there. I can even see all my old wrinkles from wearing it after the press. The worst thing is the lady work there was raising her voice, pointing finger at me and shouting and said I am being picky. I had to tell her "please give my cloth back and you can keep your money". After she continued to get into my personal space and point finger to my face, I had to ask her to stop before I call the police. The owner was polite and he offered the refund. But he needs to address with his employee with work ethics, quality and their attitude. His employee is ruining his business. read more

As far as alterations go, I definitely do not recommend. There are times I returned and my alterations weren't ready when promised. I've also returned a second time and they still weren't ready a second time promised. There was also a time I had alterations returned to me that I paid for and went all the way home to find out they weren't altered at all and had to go back, the pins were even still in them. They hadn't been touched. Another time, my pants are taken in, I wore them and they were still huge, I brought them in and the lady at the counter who is almost always the one there actually accused me of bringing in a different pair of pants than the original I brought in and accused this "2nd pair of pants" of not being altered. I told her this is a unique print on the pants and they cost over $200, and there would not be a reason for me to spend so much to buy a 2nd pair and I would never ever bring in a new pair of pants and deceive to pretend it was altered and I explained to her that was really offensive. She actually took a closer look and admitted that she was the one who altered the pants and she could tell where she cut and sewed and that they were altered by her. I told her she should've checked that (easily) BEFORE accusing me of bringing in a diff pair of pants. How hard is it to look at the pants before making such an accusation. I think a lot of the problem here is the language barrier. They don't speak great English, overpromise and often tell me they don't have my phone number in the system when they do. I am happy I found a different alteration place in Manhattan Beach with great service, actually better or even pricing and they speak English and they seem like experts at alteration. Sometimes they can tell me before I even actually try the garment on and they wind up being right. I got lucky. I've been looking for awhile. As far as dry cleaning here, overpriced (but I mean it is Manhattan Beach so it's pricier) and often cannot find my phone number and cannot explain to me why. This place shouldn't have five stars. I went here for the first time and they ruined a pair of my husbands pretty expensive coated jeans. I've had them dry cleaned probably 5 times before without any problem. But when I picked up my clothes from Style Cleaners this week, all of the wax coating on his jeans was gone and they just looked like a dull, faded pair of black jeans. This husband and wife team took no responsibility for ruining the jeans even after telling them I've had them dry cleaned many times before. All they said was "we just dry clean". Never going back. Maybe okay for cheap things you don't care about, but I wouldn't trust them with anything nice. read more

Style Cleaners is one of the best dry cleaners in the South Bay - a true hidden gem once you look past the lime green exterior (I guess it makes it hard to miss though!) The owners are a husband and wife and they are both so sweet and always remember my name. They can turn things around in a day if needed and you cannot beat their prices!
