Unfortunately I realized this after it was too late. If I could give this place one star I would. So many red flags!!! I called and booked an appointment for 3pm. The stylist on the phone sounded as though he were too busy to be on the phone and handed it off with out telling the other person why I was calling. I arrived to my appointment 5 mins early. One stylist had someone in their chair, while the other just sat someone down. Don't understand why a salon would book an appointment if they're not going to honor it? I decided to wait anyway. When I sat in the chair the stylist asked what I wanted and I showed him a picture. He asked why I didn't get a Brazilian Blowout. I told him it's because I like my hair. It's naturally curly. He pointed out that it's frizzy. I explained it was frizzy because I took a shower right before my appointment and I didn't wash my hair because I thought they would. The mist from the shower caused it to frizz. The barbacide jar was less than half full and the combs inside were only partially immersed. Also the stylist didn't appear to know how to cut hair properly. He just pulled my hair all the way down and cut it straight across. I wanted some layers in my hair and he didn't put them in. Instead he said I still had layers. Those were layers that were outgrown from a haircut I got 4 months ago. I had to ask him to do a little more because it was still thick at the bottom. I should have listened to my instinct and just paid $80 like I normally do at a higher end salon. I'm going to have to go get my hair fixed now because the stylist messed it up and it looks nothing like The picture I asked for. See attached photos.

I'll be honest... when you come here, it looks like a salon from back in the day. It's not like your typical salon nowadays where the interior is just stunning... and will of course match the price. But with Nancy's Hair Hut, it's like stepping back in time when I used to accompany my mom or grandma to have their hair done... the hairdressers are not your hip young women that you see with purple hair and edgy haircuts. In fact, it may actually scare the young to even come in. BUT don't let that fool you. I needed an updo for my cousin's wedding. I asked her (I keep forgetting to ask for her name) to do an updo, but nothing too extravagant since it's my cousin's wedding. So she sat me done and just started pinning. At first I was a little nervous that she was doing something that may top my cousin's hair updo... but then after 30 minutes (yes 30 minutes), she handed me the mirror and all I could think was "I wish I could come here everyday and get her to do my hair).
