Making a last minute appointment was super easy--Nini was able to squeeze me in for a haircut even though she books up quickly. I usually ask for a simple cut (a couple inches trimmed and some layers) and she gets it right every single time. My hair always feels light, healthy, and refreshed afterward. She works quickly but with great attention to detail, and I'm always happy with the final look. On top of that, the pricing is unbeatable. I come once or twice a year when I need a trim and color. They do a good job. The ladies are friendly and are gentle with their adolescent customers. Prices are reasonable and the parking lot has a decent amount of spaces available. What worked well was the price. It's very affordable in comparison to other salons. I deducted stars because they weren't very organized. They favored their regulars and said they "had an appointment", but it truly felt they just pushed them ahead of everyone else. I could be wrong but they never once said they had an appointment when they walked in. It's very small with minimal seating. Overall we waited about 45 minutes, but the ladies cut hair very fast and worked quickly. The result was okay. A little uneven and my daughter didn't get what she asked for. It wasn't that noticeable, but for those who are particular, this would probably matter to you. Because hair grows fast and with the cost of everything, I would come back. Came in for the first time last weekend with a 10:30 appointment, by 12pm i was out the door with an amazing haircut!! I have incredibly thick and long hair, and Anna shampooed, cut, and styled it all perfectly and quickly, and for only $45! I was so impressed, I'll definitely be coming back. I was looking for somewhere to take my mom for color and a haircut. Mu sister mentioned she has taken her here before so I called and was able to schedule an appointment within the hour. The salon is located in a very small shopping strip.Right when we walked in were greeted and they had my mom go with a hairdresser right away. I let them know what she wanted and because seating was very limited..literally 4 chairs that were all occupied I left my # and asked if they could call me when she was done. The lady was very sweet and said no problem. Approximately an hour later she called me and said my mom was good to go. when I arrived there my mom had a fresh color cut and hair was curled.and styled, it looked great and most important mom was happy. Total price was $60 plus tip which I thought was fair considering my mom has short thin hair. I do have to mention that this place is a no frills salon , I used their restroom that was in the back of the salon and the cleanliness and organization of the back of the salon was not great, I'm talking visible dirty rags, dishes , misc products and hair on the floor..although the restroom itself was clean. Overall we were satisfied with their services they just need to put some elbow grease to work in the cleaning dept. I gave them 3 Stars because of that and also parking is super limited. read more

A hidden gem in Orange for affordable cuts, color, perms, blowouts, plus nails. I've been patronizing for almost 8 years. Mimi the owner and her team of 3 stylists take both walk-ins and appts, and the kids' cuts are less than half at places like Fantastic Sam's and Supercuts. $9 vs $22. Their service is brisk and there's always a wait, but the turnover is quick. Only downside is the limited parking in between the laundromat and liquor store. There's streetside parking near Arby's across the street. My friend drives up here from Spectrum area every few months because the value and efficient service are worth it! read more

I went with mimi for a layered Bob she couldn't even shape my hair, she buzzed the bottom and kept thinning my hair , she blamed my hair for being too straight , my original stylist is able to execute the cut but her salon is closed Sudays. I will never come back here she ruined my hair .and she still wanted tip knowing she didnt give me the cut I asked for. . Its so bad when I went to see friends they straight up told me I had a bad haircut and were even pointing out how some sections were longer than others. read more

I was really excited to try a local small business. I called and I made a same-day appointment. I went in. I had to wait a tiny bit and then I was helped by a lady named Sally. While washing my hair, Sally drenched my t-shirt in water and didn't acknowledge or apologize. Then as Sally is combing my hair she rips out my cartilage piercing (pic) so now I'm sitting there bleeding and trying to get my earring and she doesn't say sorry or even acknowledge that she has just ripped my piercing out with her comb. I asked her for some alcohol to clean my earring that fell on the floor, and she very reluctantly handed some over. I should've gotten up and left at this point, but I didn't wanna make a scene. She's probably great at what she does but she gave me a terrible haircut and it's exactly what I said I did not want. I paid for the haircut only and left. Nini and the crew have always been the go-to for emergency situations with the girls. Nothing beats a hair wash or manipedi to cure the bee sting, bad day at school, fall or drama with the friends. The little ones love this place. The shop is not fancy. It is small and dinky. What the shop lacks in size is made up ten fold with excellent service and genuine care. I can call on the phone to make an appointment and everyone knows my voice. I definately feel like they appreciate my business. I come here every two weeks myself. Found this place on Yelp and walked in one weekend...big mistake! This tiny place gets packed on the weekends! So we left and decided to come back during the week. Once again we just walked in on a Tuesday morning and the nice ladies were free to take all three of my kids at the same time! Awesome! My daughter (9 yrs) chopped her hair and my two boys ages 6 and 3 both got their sides and backs shaved with a side comb and a line. After about 20 mins, all three of them were done. They were all happy with their haircuts, which makes me happy. It turned out really nice! I would definitely come back to this place to get my kids haircut again and to get my hair done. The only bad thing I'd say, is the parking lot here is not very big which makes it difficult especially on the weekends. Otherwise, all the ladies here are extremely nice and friendly!! read more

I needed a quick trim, and that's exactly what I got. No waiting, no fuss. I was out of there in less than half an hour. My bangs came out shorter than I wanted to, but it's partly my fault because I guaged wrong. Other than that, I love my cut. Price was reasonable too. read more

I've had mixed experiences here. My first haircut was for a bob with Fiona which turned out well. Today, I asked for layers from Mindy and walked out with a mullet, which is surprising considering the other good reviews she has from others asking for layers. The only thing I can think of is that she cut my hair while it was wet, so after it dried, everything became much shorter than she expected, especially the layers on the side and back which ended up shorter than the layers in the front! Edit: I ended up going back and asking Fiona to fix my hair which she did, free of charge. There was only so much she could do considering how short the layers were and ended up giving me a semi Bob. It's not what I wanted, but better than walking around with a mullet! read more
