Another thing is I didn't like the way my ends were trimmed. Yes the color is very nice though. Sam did my hair and he did a really good job. I want to give 5 stars but I also felt misled simply because a good chunk of my length was lost from this and it was not worth the price paid for. It does not sit well with me. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was because the way my ends were cut were chopped off. They weren't trimmed. They were just chopped off. That'd be okay if I weren't charged $400. $400 charge was to maintain my length, but wasn't. UPDATE: Edited mine to 4 stars because I really do love the color. Sam did an amazing job with my color. Hopefully I can get my ends fixed though! After washing my hair, my color still comes out beautiful. Photo is posted.

They had bleached the roots a different color and had toned it unevenly. I'm so glad MG hair was able to see me after the other salon had ruined my hair and was lucky enough to get a last minute amount. Eric was so careful and diligent. He made sure not to damage my hair since it had already been bleached by the hair stylist from another salon. All my friends are saying my hair looks like a celebrity's after Eric fixed it. I don't think I'll be going to any other salons cause MG Hair gave me such a stellar job. Bonus: they even have snacks while you're waiting!

Danato took his time in explaining the entire process to me before starting the treatment, which included multiple cleansing washes accompanied by steam throughout. He finished the treatment off with a bouncy blowout. I have thick and coarse caucasian/asian hair, and he was incredibly patient and enthusiastic in creating the look that I wanted. The whole experience was relaxing and pleasant from start to finish. Danato was very attentive, polite and detail-oriented. I would highly recommend him for a hair spa treatment or blowout!

The stylist was working with me and tried to achieve what I was asking for, I just wish there was a bit more conversation about how to achieve what I want. Instead, I was impressed with how the stylist reiterated the hair cut back to me in bullet note like fashion, but it didn't initiate more conversation but instead felt like a: I'm telling you what I'm doing so if you dislike it in the end, it's your fault not mine. The receptionist was really kind & accommodating and found a hairstylist (Jenn) that fit me in last minute. I absolutely loved Jenn, she was very professional and made me feel comfortable right away. I love my fresh haircut! The salon is super clean and covid protocols are in place which I appreciate very much. This was my first experience with the salon, but it won't be my last!

I was given 2 options covering all goals discussed - 1. start off with highlights/lowlights/gloss or 2. Start off with a gloss. I chose starting with a gloss. After the gloss was washed out I noticed grays and asked about it. It was then I was told, "a gloss doesn't cover grays. We'd be lucky to get 30-40% coverage with a gloss." After getting home I now realize the gloss isn't even and pulled reddish. I did leave without a blow dry out of frustration so in all fairness I'm sure they would have adjusted that had I stayed. But also, I figured it would probably be fine since it's a gloss but not the case. The manager did offer for another appointment with the owner or another stylist but I declined and they did not charge me. Just posting to help another person avoid this.

Juju is an absolute gem and really knows what she's doing when it comes to hair. She also speaks English pretty well so it is easier to communicate with her if you don't speak Chinese. Perms can take up to a couple hours so she also makes sure you keep up your stamina by offering you snacks and water/coffee. The service in general at this salon is pretty quick and efficient and thorough in terms of getting people in and out quickly.
