My experience in this store was unwelcoming and cold. I was not greeted when I entered the store, I greeted everyone instead as I'm that kind of person. I didn't take anything to that but then it got weird. Seems like a family business. The first worker I talked to it looked like he was helping someone else so then I spoke to another worker.. I went through the prices of the rugs, I got to the $120 pile of rugs and chose a color that matched best with my living room. I said "yes, this will be perfect". The worker that was helping me then walks away back to the front desk. I thought he was doing something on his computer for me to obtain the rug.. I waited a couple of minutes then went to the desk and asked "Is the rug available can I have that rug, do you have to weigh it or something?" The worker laughed "what are you talking about, why would we have to weigh it". Well it was awkward that it seemed he didn't want to finish the transaction with me, I didn't feel welcomed at all. I told the worker that I will pay for the rug and go.. He stated that he would have his associates pack up the rug. Why would I want to support a business that doesn't even feel like they want my business???? I know right?! I had my family in there and they seen cold stares and people mugging them.. I gathered my family, paid for the rug $129.30 after debit card tax. I was told to bring my car to the front so the rug can be put into my trunk.. I waited for nearly 15 minutes went back inside as my family was waiting in the car and I just saw the associates standing around. I was about to pick up the rug myself and put it in my own car then the associates in the store proceeded to put the rug into my car... Horrible experience and I will never return, I am a local and didn't feel welcomed at all.. I'm sure that means nothing to them but anyways Beautiful art made in this building though but I'll take my money elsewhere.

I had visited the store…read morein December to get an idea what to expect with product selection for hardwood flooring and installation price etc... We had carpet and pets, so we were in need of new flooring. We took the leap and chose S&G Carpet and More to do our hardwood flooring. And we couldn't be happier. Courtney walked us through everything we had a gentleman come out and measure and we chose our flooring. Installers arrived on schedule every day and were so polite and true craftsman at their trade. I was very impressed with all their work just impeccable and immaculate. Our home has been really transformed by Tim and his team. Our home is 2700 sq/ft, so it was a big job wall to wall hardwood. If you are on the fence and not sure about changing your flooring, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Tim and his team at S&G Carpet and More here in Elk Grove they will definitely take care of you. For example, some baseboard on our landing was left off the quote and we requested to have it installed. Tim sent someone out the next day to install baseboard on the landing and caulking at no charge. Customer service 5 Stars!!!

This place is so cute-I haven't been to a ton of nurseries as I've generally picked up my cactus plants at random spots like a midtown market or a Trader Joe's or as gifts from people but I will say this was one of the cuter nurseries I've been to. When we arrived I walked around a bit to check out what they had to offer-what was in season and wondering where the cactus plants were. I liked this little sign they had in the middle of their nursery which advised everyone what was in season and what should be planted at this time of year-for a newbie green thumb person like myself-information like that is very helpful. After walking around a bit I decided on the cutest little cactus to add to my collection at home and it cost me $7.99,so cheap and my daughter decided to get a snow peas plant($7.49). In closing-if you ever find yourself in the Oak Park area and want to check out the cutest little nursery-I would 100% recommend The Plant Foundry for all your gardening needs-they have a really awesome business running out there-I like em and will be back.

The staff is friendly and helpful and there's even sometimes a cute and friendly cat that's wondering around to greet guests. Like many reviewers have stated, don't have Simas do the installation, especially for LVP. The…read moreproducts are nice and the sales guy (David) acts nice when he wants to make a sale, but the quality of the installation is terrible, and they will refuse to do anything when your LVP starts cracking due to failure to do proper floor prep. Simas also fails to communicate properly with its installers. We had to explain everything to the installers about what we were doing. It wasn't a simple job and we expected Simas to have given the designs to the installers, for the ridiculous amount of money we paid.

I filed a claim in October 12, 2025 after noticing the flooring separating and popping up and I am not getting any results in resolving this issue. I have the top of the line product Series Athena. The flooring is popping up through out the house. There is no moisture issues I have lived here 35 years and I have had laminate flooring in the past with no issues of any kind. I believe the installer did not float the flooring area as needed. Very poor customer service. I do highly recommend to stay clear form Flooring Liquidators for your flooring purchases.
