My carpets sucked and needed a PRO and I was willing to pay a little more for having it done right. I am not saying they are over priced, but they are fairly priced - not bargain basement. But you get what you pay for, right? So they rapidly answered my call and my questions. They rapidly sent out an estimator. They didn't upsell or harrass. They just looked and said what it would cost for real. The were efficient. The workman they sent was experienced, professional, friendly, efficient and got a great job done on some really worn down nap that had beaten in dirt and had not been cleaned in over a year. The company did a great job! I'll see how it smells through the coming weeks but so far so good. Their tech guy and the owner who helped are both awesome! Why the three stars...... Communication for this was awful. First off I tried to contact them a couple weeks ago for a quote. I listened to the super super super long VM and finally texted the number that was mentioned to text on the VM. 2 days went by and no one responded (over business days) so I called back and spoke to a really nice person on April 8th. She sent me a quote. We then closed on the property and I called back to schedule it the day after Easter. The lady I spoke to kept telling me she never works that day and seemed super flustered. She was nice, but it was a weird conversation. So we got it booked for yesterday 12-2. I asked if that was a window and she said no be there at 12. I said ok. I asked if there was anything else I should know about it and she said nope! I never got the new invoice. So on Tuesday, 2 days before the appointment, I called and asked for the invoice that was never sent. She realized the other lady misspelled my email address. Then on Wed, they call my work office to see if they could change the time to 10-12. So I called back and asked for them to call my number and to confirm 10-12 would work for me. Then I was told that it is in fact a window. Not that they get there at 10. So I Said, um ok, can they text me an ETA when they are enroute? I don't like at the property and don't want to wait there for 2 hours. She said yes. So we end the conversation. I then get a text confirmation for 1-3! and then a second one from 1-3. I call back super confused. They accidently sent me the wrong time. So then thursday. I get a text at around 9:45. "en route" ok, well, what is the ETA? that was all I wanted to know. so I text back. What is the ETA? No one responds. So I finish what I'm doing and get to the property about 10:25. I call the company to see if they have an ETA and she said no! So no one had read my text back. Fortunately they were arriving right about that time. But, is it really that hard to put an ETA in? We all have things to be doing, and it would be better, more professional communication to give a timeframe when enroute. And I didn't know I would need to be available the next day to let them come back and get their equipment?! No one told me it was a 24 hour thing. I'm a Realtor. What If I did this as a gift to my clients, and they were moving in the next day?! This information was provided to me last minute. Same thing happened today to pick the equipment up. "En route" ok Well what is the ETA? Uhg. Better communication about expectations on my side and ETA's would have absolutely made this a 5 star experience. read more

I will say that I called last week to schedule an appointment for 11/5 from 8-10am. I was at home waiting around 8:40 and thought "let me call to confirm an appt." luckily I called because they had no record of me having an appt that day. Heather took swift action and got me an appt that same day at 11am and it was done by noon. The gentlemen did a great job for my move out and he was very friendly. Paying is a breeze online through his tablet and I was emailed a receipt instantly. Due to Heather's error she gave me a great discount. No Show--After confirming our appointment the day before, and waiting a better part of the day for their arrival to clean our carpets, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! When we phoned them to find out why, we were told by their answering service that no one was available to address the problem. I later got a call back saying they were experiencing "technical difficulties", so even though they called the day before to confirm, we were not on the schedule for that day. Wasted our whole day. There were some stains that I tried to remove with Resolve Carpet Cleaner on my own that would not come out. But they got all of them out with no problems. We have been using Fairest of All for carpet cleaning for many years and I wouldn't consider using anyone else. They have always been timely, professional and our carpets always look great. They have been successful with stubborn stains and have done a marvelous job with carpet repair where puppies have once thought it was fun to go to town. So glad the puppy stage is behind us! So, why oh why did I wait so long to call them to clean our tile floors? Thinking that I would someday tackle the dreaded job on my own just wasn't happening. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Dave did on not only our tile floors, but, we had him do my in-laws next door as well. He showed up on time and got right to work. I. I had all the carpets in my house cleaned, and they did a good job, but the wood laminate hallway seems to be permanently damaged. It looks like the guy doing the cleaning ran the machine across the hard floor as he moved from room to room. I have had the floor mopped twice, but the cloudy swirls remain. I have had two hostile conversations with the office person there. She seems determined to imply that I am in the wrong, while fobbing me off with a story about needing to speak with the owner of the company before she can send someone over to take a look at the floor. I went to Fairest because the Property Manager at the house I was renting recommended them for our move-out cleaning. Well, since we had only a month or so prior had half of the carpets cleaned, we asked them to only clean the other half. Well, to my utter surprise, these folks went and spoke with my Property Manager and came back to me stating they would be cleaning all the carpets in the home but they would only bill me up to a certain maximum dollar amount. Pardon me??? Have we ever heard of collusion? Yes, well if this isn't it, I don't know what is. At one point I was even told "I'm going to do what [your property manager] requests because he provides me with more business and I am loyal to my clients." Does that make any sense? Well, it made sense to me!! So much so that I immediately called another cleaner and had the job done perfectly well for cheaper than Fairest of All had quoted. No Thank You! read more

We tried using a "well known" big company but the prices were ridiculous. We have also had an acquaintance do our carpet cleaning (he has his own business) but weren't happy with the job he did in the past. I always get the coupon in the Valpak for Fairest of All and we decided to try them since our carpet was due for a cleaning. Making an appointment was easy. The woman I spoke with was friendly and took notes to have the technician call me when they were on their way. The technician called 15 minutes before he showed up and was right on time. The time frame given was between 1130 and 130(the tech showed at 1215). Chris was the technician and he was friendly and professional. I showed him where I wanted cleaned and he got right to work. He was cool to chat with while he pre treated my carpets and explained what he was doing. He gave me some information about the carpet and what not-mostly general information and answering questions I had. He finished in less than an hour (600 sq feet) including the "teflon" spray. He was quick but thorough. I was also happy he got out a few spots we had. The test will be if my husband likes the carpet as much as I do and see how it holds up in a month. (if any spots come back). So far, I am really impressed and happy with the service. I would recommend them and will most likely use them for our annual carpet cleaning. -updated 2 April- No spots that we had came back and one of the children dripped some strawberry juice on the carpet and it came right out. read more

I recently moved out of my apartment (which they also cleaned the carpets and did an amazing job) and into a home, upon moving into my home the carpets were not cleaned even though the landlord said they had been cleaned. I told my landlord the carpets are very dirty and need to be re-cleaned but he refused saying I had them cleaned and they looked fine. I called Fairest of All, they came out cleaned my carpets, did an awesome job as always and the carpets looked BETTER then before. Even my landlord said they look a lot nicer. We decided to try Fairest of All after receiving a coupon in the mail and I wanted to give a local company some business. Big mistake! We had an appointment between 9 and 12 on Friday. The receptionist said the guy would call us on his way over. Well that didn't happen. Showed up at 10:30 and was very friendly. Finished by noon. I asked him for some booties which he did not have. We left the house till midnight and did everything he recommended leaving fans on and heater etc. our carpets were soaked! Saturday we left for about 6 hours came home and they were still wet. Not only were they wet the smell of the cleaner was so strong in a few of the rooms. I used several other companies in the past and have never experienced this. We finally were able to move stuff back on the carpets on Sunday around 9:00 pm, My carpets were not even that dirty. What a waste of money!!! Before I got off the phone, the estimate for cleaning my carpet was over $300--two story home with stairs, with baths, entry, hallways kitchen and dining areas not carpeted. I'm calling the next one on the list as it is easier to know you have a firmer estimate when it is a by room estimate. read more

From making the appt to the carpet cleaning, people were nice. The carpets were six months old, but had some stains due to subsequent work in the house. When the technician was cleaning the carpet, he used the tip of his boot to scrub at the stains. The stains are still present. When I called to complain and spoke with the owner Toni, her response was, "What's wrong with using his boot?" We will be using a different service to deal with the outstanding issue of the stains. I have used this company several times in the past, and was very satisfied. Apparently, however, they had a falling out with the guy who has cleaned my carpets before. The guy they sent out this time (August 2009) was terrible. He was here a total of, maybe, 15 minutes, and not only did an inadequate job, but left puddles of water on the flooring (lino and wood) that was adjacent to the carpeting. I slipped and fell in one of the puddles! I called to complain and was told they were going to send out the same person! I waited until the owner was back in town, but she was not able to talk to me. She has still not called back - over a week ago. Very dissatisfied. Cannot recommend them any more. What a disappointment. read more
