Love this little taco place on Lincoln Ave! Their Barbacoa Taco is tasty as heck and if you pair it with the cosume, it is a whole new dish. We also got the chicken taco, very delicious. Highly recommend for Taco Tuesday

New restaurant of the week led me here only because I drive past it all the time and I have never stopped but that changed today. This used to be the old blue boy ice cream stand and for a while a food truck was on the property which was temporary because now the food truck is gone and the building is up and running. The building has a weird angle roof that over hangs with take out windows so no indoor dining but a small patio on the side. Service is just like the truck because you place your order at the window and they call you when it's ready. I ordered the steak burrito Steve style with added cilantro and onions which takes the burrito to the next level, try it some time. The burrito came quick and the bag was filled and heavy I thought. My burrito came with a green and brown sauce, cucumbers and lime wedges. My burrito came with lettuce, beans, sour creme, cheese, cilantro and onions. The burrito was $8.50 and the hugest/large, I can't recall the last time I had a burrito this big. The burrito was tasty with a nice amount of steak but the steak was not seasoned. The cilantro and onion flavors can take a burrito not seasoning well past the finish line and make up for little short comings. I actually liked both sauces and the brown being the hotter one. I'm not saying It's the best steak burrito but at the $8.50 price point vs size/value vs tastiness with the added cilantro/onion it's pretty good. I have 2 go to burrito places, the charbroiled skirt steak very far from me so inconvenient and the around my neighborhood truck and I think this place is tastier so my neighborhood truck has been toppled after all these years with the new kid in town. Yah this will be my close go to place when I'm not trying new places now, hell my favorite gyro place form10 years got toppled by the new kid in town so it happens on my quest to try new places.

Food is amazing. Service is nice and somewhat quick would recommend and eat again. My issue with this place is I order the same thing everytime I call in an order for pickup, why am I getting different prices almost everytime I come to pick it up?! They change the prices to whatever they feel like this they day and it's frustrating. Paid $20 one day and $25 the next. WTF?!

The service was really bad, girl taking the order. She was very rude. Not friendly at all. I don't think I'm coming back to this place ever

Honestly with all the restaurants I go to I don't remember if the interior has changed from the previous restaurant but it's fresh/clean looking with a nice little bar on the side. My service was excellent and I was seated right away with chips, salsa, water and a menu. The chips were warm, thin, fresh, crisp and seasoned nicely with a nice corn taste that was the quintessential corn chips for salsa in my opinion. The salsa was fresh with crisp/chunky vegetables and once again what in my opinion makes for a perfect salsa with a heat not detectable to my pallet but my nose was slightly running which was odd because my mouth was not hot, maybe all the hot and spicy food that I eat all the time has numbed me. I would do a menu item that I never do which was breakfast for lunch that was the chilaquiles plate with steak. It's two eggs cooked hard, thin steak, beans , tortillas sautéed in sauce topped with cilantro, onions and sour cream. The plate looked amazing and a huge portion by the way. The beans were loose with whole beans and topped with shredded cheese. The eggs tasted fresh, cooked over hard. The thin steak had a slight grill flavor. The sautéd tortillas I opted for the red sauce was delicious with the thick red sauce covered in cilantro, onion and sour cream that was delicious and the star of the plate. Overall was it the best Mexican food that I have had, no and the particular plate you order can affect a review in the end but I will say I have a new fondness for Mexican breakfast. Overall my breakfast for lunch was very good even though it wasn't seasoned like the chips but it was a better experience than my review for the last place 12 years ago and I would actually go back to the new restaurant vs the old that was once and done.

Small space but cozy, intimate feel to it that is beautifully decorated. All the workers were nice and friendly. The food??!! Sooo delicious, truly!! The beef fried rice was my favorite. The beef was sooooooo buttery and good. Cooked PERFECTLY. The flavor of the rice was even better, that wok is seasoned to perfection!! The depth of flavor makes you go for more. The arroz con pollo was just as delicious, big fan of the pickled onions and salsa they paired with the entree. The rice was sooo good, never haf green rice before!! Its like mexican rice with a cilantro base rather than tomato--sooo good! I definitely am coming back!!

We sat in a booth and split a half pitcher of passion fruit sour. We probably would have been fine with a glass each, but the menu only gave the option for a half or whole pitcher. I can't pass up an order of tostones, so that was an easy immediate yes appetizer. I also love a good lomo saltado con bistec, so that was my entrée I thought it was a tad chewy, but still delicious. There were no crumbs left on my plate. Service was pretty quick initially, but the waitress took a long time to come back at the end. It could have been that she was waiting because there was still some drink in our glasses, but it was a little much not to at least come check in and refill waters. I still will be back, especially because it is so close to me now.
