this is a great coffee shop for when you need a small snack or are meeting up with a friend. i love that it's one of the only coffee shops around that stays open until evening, and parking is easy (there's a garage right in front of the place). but it gets a little crowded and seating is limited, so i wouldn't quite recommend it as a place to stay for some quiet reading or studying. i did very much enjoy the menu here. the grinch latte was a pleasant surprise (peppermint mocha AND matcha, what?) and, for a coffee shop, there are so many different pastries and food items to choose from. i got a beef empanada, which really hit the spot for someone who wanted a quick bite. it is a little pricier than i'd like it to be, but hey, it's right in the bougie area of town. coming for the hipster vibes, outdoor seating, and local business support will never be a bad idea. read more

The coffee here is delicious and their lattes/iced mochas are a 10/10, really rich coffee flavor and not watery at all (I find a lot of iced lattes end up watery) plus the atmosphere is very funky and cute, however the service is atrocious. They had 2 people working there chit chatting and putting stuff away behind the counter and ignoring the customers waiting to order. Didn't even acknowledge us or say "I'll be with you in a second", which happens all the time at this location. Definitely would benefit from some training or a different manager on site to work on customer service. read more

The baristas were super nice and they have a variety of drinks from coffee to kombucha, sparkling waters and even beer, which were good. Had the quiche and veggie empanada which were delicious. The chai tea latte was good better than Starbucks but I've had better at other places. Came on Friday for trivia and I will say it gets packed, so try to be there early enough to grab a spot to sit at. This trip I got an iced americano with spiced brown sugar...not my favorite. There's a good amount of seating inside and some spots outside as well. Many coffee enthusiasts alike, some catching up with friends and others doing work. The parking situation is not very good if you're looking to just grab a cup of coffee and be on your way. As Florida "reopens" for business, I am going to focus on sanitation protocols, the availability of hand sanitizer, the wearing of masks, social distancing, and the like. Subculture Coffee did everything right. All employees wore masks; there was hand sanitizer available throughout the store; the tables were spaced well over 6 feet apart; and, the kitchen was closed; but, prepared food was available, as was outdoor seating. If only their patrons were so considerate... we saw people bring in non-ADA certified non-service animals; we saw others not wearing masks; and, others wandering around, seating themselves near others; and needlessly touching items throughout the store. It was very sad. We loved the funky vibe, marveled at the wallpaper, the photos, and quirky items on the bookcases. And, most of all, we enjoyed all of our coffee and pastry items, as well as breakfast sandwiches; and, yogurt parfaits that we had. We visited every day of our stay; and, twice one day! Subculture Coffee was great and we hope to return soon to use our free coffee coupon! read more

I frequent the Subculture location in West Palm so when I happened to be around in Jupiter with an hour to kill, I was excited to find a location there. And I was not disappointed! Subculture has done a stellar job of designing one-of-a-kind spaces with personality. They're the kind of spaces where you just feel comfortable when you walk in. I went on a late weekday morning to get some reading done and was pleasantly surprised that the cafe was nearly full with other people also doing work. This was my first experience with Subculture Coffee and I am blown away. This location is in a small shopping complex and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I love the concept. There is a coffee roaster in the corner giving off a delicious aroma. The decor is a mix of trendy and old school, with marble tabletops, retro cushioned chairs, and a wallpaper collage of famous rockers drinking coffee. Can I please start every day drinking coffee next to a picture of Jimi Hendrix drinking coffee? As a huge rock n roll lover, I had so much fun just reading the menu (as all the dishes are named after songs and artists). They have acai bowls, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and of course, every coffee drink you can think up (from flat white to chai latte) with an option for any kind of milk. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but we settled for the following: -Cappuccinos: So delicious and exactly what you want in the morning. The coffee is strong but not too acidic and the latte art was on point. -The way out - bowl o sunshine: This INCREDIBLE açaí bowl came with homemade granola, almond butter, banana, pineapple, mango, kiwi, coconut, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, and turmeric-cayenne infused honey. It was ginormous. I think the two of us could have been full with just this bowl. The açaí in the bottom was the perfect consistency (thick and frozen, and not soupy), and there was so much fresh fruit and yummy granola on top. The combination of flavors was amazing and the almond butter helped to cut the natural sweetness of the fruit. I am already craving another one! -The Joplin : It consisted of garlic rubbed toast, avocado, fresh corn salsa, toasted pepitas, sprouts, and lime. It was very good, but the toast was a little crunchy so it was difficult to cut and I could have done with less sprouts on top (because I am just not the biggest fan of alfalfa sprouts). In conclusion, this location is great, and I cannot wait to get another fix of Subculture Coffee (and another one of those açaí bowls)! read more
