If it's your first time getting a laser treatment, they have a 15 minute consultation before your treatment to discuss the procedure or any questions you might have. I also bought the groupon for laser hair removal last spring. It's been just a couple weeks since my 3rd treatment now, and the results are AMAZING. I bought 6 treatments, and with the results after just 3, I'm confident that this groupon was WELL worth the great deal, and would have been worth it at full price! Aside from great results, the woman I see each visit is so friendly, and the reception staff has always been great as well. If they're backed up, they'll call you ahead of time and rearrange things a bit to minimize your wait. I wish my regular doctor would do that! Considering the groupon madness and the quantity they sold, I think they've done a great job managing it. I schedule my appointments during my lunch break and it works out perfectly. I am a nurse in Newport Beach and I was looking for a Dr who could remove some tattoos I had on my wrist and forearm. I made an appointment and the reception staff were so kind and so friendly. I met the doctors MA and his nurse and both were very thorough and explained everything to me and answered all questions. The Dr came in and explained the procedure and was very educated and very nice!! He did the treatment in less than 5 minutes and I can honestly say I felt no pain!!! He definitely earned my love and my trust. I will continue treatments with him and his staff until the tattoos are gone. My friends, office associates and family come up and ask if they can touch my skin. So many compliments that I have lost track. I have waited 2 years to write this review. I have scars on my face from the CO2 laser where Dr. Dawood went too deep and overlapped the laser causing a loss of pigmentation on my skin. The scars are in a 4" inch area above my lips and a 4" area on my chin area. I was terrified when I saw my skin sliding off my cheek hours after the procedure and couldn't reach the doctor for 17 hours because they didn't turn on their answering machine when they left for the day. Don't let anyone tell you this is a simple procedure and you can go back to work in a few days. It is a very serious procedure! I was shaking for 13 days from the anxiety of the procedure and healing process. Recently, I asked if he might be able to blend the discoloration someway, so it wouldn't be so noticeable. He wanted to charge me. I was stunned!! Disgusted! I only asked because 2 other doctors told me the loss of pigmentation and scars would be permanent. Third time trying to write a review, we'll see if it works... I had deep wrinkles on my cheeks and around my mouth, and had a Groupon for fractional laser resurfacing. My wrinkles seemed severe to me, and the loss of facial fat over the years just intensified my tired, wrinkled face. Having done the non-aggressive treatments at other clinics several times (which did nothing for my wrinkles), I decided to upgrade to an aggressive "one-time-session" -- something I hoped would do the trick, though I admit, I kinda doubted it. My wrinkles are completely GONE, with just one aggressive treatment, and so are the age spots, pores, and red-spots. (FYI: I have a medium range skin-tone, and all of this matters in the equation and outcome, including how far they can push their settings while keeping patient safety first). I just can't say enough about Dr. Daewood and his staff. I work in a clinic similar to Sublime, so my statements are as authentic as they come. Because of my awesome results, I have actually referred him from our practice for this procedure (we don't have a fractional CO2 laser at our clinic). He knows exactly what he's doing and his medical grade lasers are top-notch in the industry. He is so caring and I think this may be why they can run a little behind schedule sometimes, but I see that as a good thing, knowing whoever is in there with him while I'm in the waiting room is getting the quality-time and care they deserve. As far as I can tell, Dr. Daewood isn't into selling people on a "series" of little sessions that do nothing for the kind of wrinkles I had. He just tells you what's going to work for your issue and goes through his own before & after's with you on a big screen. He worked with my budget, he's kind, caring, with not a shred of arrogance as some doctors go, and he and his staff rate 5 stars all the way around. I look 15-20 years younger, never expected these results, and my gross wrinkles are totally gone. Plus, the fat in my face is slowly returning from all that collagen doing it's thing like it's supposed to. After my second appointment I was told now that they only offer appointments on wednesdays and thursdays, which is far too limiting, and I feel cheated by the groupon that i bought since I can't go back in now until august. read more

I bought a Groupon for the laser hair treatment. Every time I came for my appointment I had to wait 40-50 min. I don't think it is acceptable specially when an actual treatment last no more than 5 minutes. If you have a full time job this is a big inconvenience (they don 't take appointments on the weekends). I wasn't impressed with the treatment ether; for brazilian bikini treatment they don't even try to get all of the area done. Also, you should keep in mind that they will never call you to remind you of an upcoming appointment. The parking is a hassle as well. I would not recommend this place to a friend and I will never go there again. read more

Sublime's entire staff was one of the absolute worst customer service experiences that I have ever encountered. I had taken an hour lunch to come to my prescheduled appointment and I had arrived early as well in order to convenience them.After 1 hour and 15 min of waiting they took me to the room that the doctor couldn't see me because he has consultations to get to even though I had an appointment scheduled. The front staff also kept talking about the customers personal lives and information as well and laughing and making fun of them. This entire time no one came to check in with me to keep me updated, I had to go up to them and ask after 1 hour what was going on before they even took me into a room. The elder front desk receptionist is so arrogant and doesn't seem to even care about any of the patients. I highly recommend to not go here if you value your time and want to be cared about as a patient. read more

I have been going to Dr. Dawood for at least 4 years now and would never consider going to anyone else. I simply cant say enough wonderful things about his expertise and compassion. He is a skilled master at making you look beautiful and within your budget. I typically go for Botox and filler -- and am always on a tight budget. His prices EASILY beat out all competition. Unlike other dermatologists who simply throw out a figure of what it will cost you, (take it or leave it attitude), Dr. Dawood will work within your budget and make you thrilled with the results. I am 58 and, honestly, with the treatments he suggests for me, within my budget, I have been told I look 15 years younger. And it's all because of Dr. Dawood. I've been, in the past, before i discovered Dr. Dawood, to many other dermatologists and it seemed like they kept raising their prices, (that I could no longer afford) PLUS, I was never satisfied with the results! Dr. Dahwood is a miracle worker!!! I usually don't tend to write positive reviews on places unless they deserve it but I just had a Co2 laser done about 5 days ago and the results are better then i could ever imagine! Ive tried everything to help get rid of my acne scars, from tca peels, fraxel laser etc. and 35% of Co2 laser diminished my scars in 5 short days! Dr. Dahwood is an amazing doctor with an even better staff his assistant Ted is an amazing guy who even called to check up on me on a Saturday afternoon! Being a Marine money is tight and Dr. Dahwood knew this so he helped me out with a reasonable price "wroth every penny!!" my skin is almost flawless now i might have to go back and get a follow up Co2 laser done in 4-6 months but it will be worth it! THEY R THE BEST... I drive from San Diego to see them because I have never seen better results and will continue doing so =)) Dr. Dawood is extremely talented and knows what he's talking about. He always takes the time to listen and asks a lot of questions unlike other cosmetic Dr.'s who just try to push you to get different things done. He has even talked me out of doing a couple of things that I did't need which rarely happens these days! I got a full body package from them for laser hair removal about a year ago and my results are much better than I expected... ( also being told that by other friends who have done laser at other places) Lorinda does my laser and she is very thorough and fast and chatting with her just makes time goes by even faster! They give me a numbing cream that is seriously magical so I don't really feel anything and Im super sensitive to pain! Colleen is usually at the front desk and coordinates the appointments and is always super accommodating. I have also done a mild chemical peel (which was heavenly with amazing results), Botox, Vitamin B shot, etc...and I have never been happier with my results. Mine was not a typical reason to visit a doctor for laser resurfacing. I am 54 years old, and have suffered with excessive "tearing" for over 4 years. Because the eyelid was too heavy, the mechanics of moving tears around the eyeball had failed, and I found myself with tears streaming down my face all day long. I went to several eye specialists, had countless procedures (multiple tear duct plugs, cauterization of the tear ducts, etc.) and nothing worked. The last resort, I was told by my eye doctor, was to have a large section of the eyelid removed surgically at a cost of over $3000. While they assured me the procedure would help with the excessive tearing, they would not tell me how the procedure would look from a cosmetic perspective. Again, this was not my primary motivation, but I didn't want the procedure to make my eyes look "altered" or somehow less attractive just because it was needed to repair a mechanical malfunction. Enter Sublime Medical! I came across info regarding their laser resurfacing process and decided to find out if it would address my problem. Dr. Dawood and his staff were extremely helpful, straightforward and honest. They offered no promises, but based on all consideration factors, I decided that I felt most comfortable proceeding with their laser resurfacing procedure. The day following the procedure, I woke up and have not had a single bit of tearing since! To most, this would seem like an insignificant issue and in the scheme of most medical challenges, I wholeheartedly agree. However, I will tell you that this constant annoyance is now a thing of the past for me, and I am beyond grateful to Dr. Dawood and his fabulous staff for the profound impact this procedure has had on my everyday life. Oh yeah - and in case you were wondering... my family members and friends tell me that I look 10 years younger! Dr. Dawood is great! He has a very straightforward demeanor and excellent bedside manner, speaking clearly and honestly in everything he tells you. He doesn't promise miracles, but he delivers excellent results! I had my first treatment (Juvederm) for some very deep "marionette lines" around my mouth and it was almost painless and the early results look great!
