Both employees looked straight up at me and said "So your car smells." And I smiled and said yes and explained the situation. They asked me if I had checked the cabin filter, and I asked the what? And they explained that no amount of smell neutralizers would help if the filter was dirty. They explained kindly that they weren't trying to upsell me, and I felt very at ease that they weren't. So without hesitation, the one (I believe his name was Rob) went outside with me in the cold and helped me remove my old cabin filter, and lo and behold it was super dirty. We tossed it, went back inside and I bought a new one, and then he offered to go BACK outside with me to install the new one!! So incredibly helpful, in the cold, and without hesitation! I had the replacement headlight in hand, the cover to the unit off for easier access, and the connector disconnected prior to stepping inside. The place wasn't busy. I was the only customer for a few minutes until another couple came in. An older lady greeted me and I explained what I needed. There was a guy who was helping someone outside. She ask him when he came back in if he would help. You wouldn't even know the guy worked there. He was in jeans, a grey t-shirt, and a ball cap looking like a regular customer. She asked him, and with his head down doing something else said "no, not doing it". I looked at him and said "really?!" I got ignored, no acknowledgement, only flat out refusal. She gave me this look like as to say "well, sorry I tried" . Didn't even attempt to try anything with her nonchalant stance at the counter. Customer service was absolute bs. I know O'Riley's offers free bulb installation. I've gone to this location plenty of times with no issues, great customer service and assistance, top notch effort Even a response such as "Yes, let me finish what I'm doing and I'll help you out" or " No sorry, I won't be able to" would have been nice. At least something else rather than a complete disregard for customer service.

Hubby had some troubles getting the battery swapped. I'm not very savvy about cars, so I can't tell you exactly what the trouble was. Something about the battery having been drained and the electrical system not allowing us to do ...whatever was needed. So Hubby went back into the store to see if the clerk had any ideas. Not content to simply stand behind the counter and offer suggestions, the clerk came out to our car and spent several minutes trying different things with Hubby. Ultimately, the solution involved some sort of safety switch hidden someplace no sane person would normally think of looking. While the clerk located and pushed the safety thingie, Hubby was able to get the car started. It seemed easy, but only if you know about the super-secret button. The clerk was very kind, very generous with his time, and very patient. Automotive stores all seem to be pretty much the same, really. But employees who care and are knowledgeable and patient are what makes this one stand out.

Decided to give the free same day shipping a try since it was an available option. The purchase was scheduled to deliver around 3:30pm and was notified via text message. Received a text message around that time saying that my order delivery had been cancelled. A link was provided to check the status and the link went to Doordash. This company uses Doordash to deliver their products... food delivery services are extremely unreliable and I figured they utilized their own drivers since they already have their own employees delivering parts all day. So it looks like my dasher probably cancelled. Fast forward to about 7 pm. Receive a notification that my order will be delivered around 6:30 pm... I will repeat, I received a notification stating my delivery would show up AFTER the scheduled delivery time and the item wasn't even delivered. A door dasher then sends me a text message asking for the address. I think this is strange but give him my address. He informs me that he needs the address to the STORE. Why the heck do I have to provide this? Do you not pass this onto your door dashers? So the only address I was provided from my late text messages is the main street name. My city is setup on a grid system so a single street name isn't very helpful. I had to go and look up the address for this place and provide it to him; hoping that this was the right address. He cancelled and said another dasher will pick it up. Great, so I call the store to try and resolve this; at this point I am willing to just pick my order up. Guess what, the store is already closed. Another door dasher messaged me to inform me that the store was closed as well. I told her not to worry about it. I spoke with customer service and was able to cancel my order. I ended up just picking up the order from a different store in person. What a joke. Your website services are terrible and your business model is terrible. Really, using Door dash? Not providing addresses to Door dashers and requiring me to guide them on how to handle their "job" for delivering orders. What a joke of a company. Your customer service representatives were surprisingly helpful and is the only reason I would ever "consider" buying from you again but I will always go out of my way to shop at O'Reilly's from here on out.

You should sell that ASAP" Took the car in for a second opinion at an actual repair shop and turns out twas just a cracked coolant reservoir... $150 fix. Turns out we are keeping the car.
