To come to the point - I went to Gateway on the opposite end of town from me, to look at another vehicle that ended up not being a good match for me, but, next to it was a Honda Pilot, little older, with some miles. Vehicle had some moderate work done yet, Ben offered this information without my even asking. Try getting THAT somewhere else!!! Perfect vehicle for my needs. Love it! Now it's time to talk money and I meet Ben, the co-owner and main sales force. The vehicle seemed to need a couple minor things to help make me comfortable with the purchase, and these were done, WITH a LOANER car, thanks to Ben. Dave at the front counter is Ben's right hand man, and very capable. Every employee I bumped into or interacted with at Gateway was at minimum professional, and as I understand it they are all ASE certified! Between them all, the agreed minor repairs were completed, my full smile installed, deal struck. A good deal. In closing, now many hundreds of miles later, my vehicle is running and behaving perfectly. I bought this at a fair price and Dave and Ben did what they said they would do, and did so respectfully and promptly. They handed me information NO used car seller would ever do, and kept their promises. I would not recommend anyone buy a used vehicle before looking at what Gateway has to offer. A few months later, I had a pretty bad vibration in the front end. They diagnosed it as a warped rotor, turned both front rotors and everything was fine. A few more months later, the vibration came back. They diagnosed it again as a warped rotor and replaced both front rotors this time because they could not be turned again. Another month went by and guess what, the vibration was back. This time they said the rotors "looked fine" and it was a loose tie rod end. They replaced the tire rod end and did an alignment. As I was paying for it, the mechanic brought out my keys and said there was still vibration, but I needed to buy higher quality rotors, maybe titanium. So at least one of the rotors that "looked fine" was still warped. They chose the rotors that were installed. I was not asked, nor given an option for higher quality. This is a midsize SUV, not a high-performance vehicle that would need titanium rotors. So now I still have a warped rotor and I'm gonna have to pay somebody else to do a brake job with quality parts. Never going back.

Brought my car into Midas again knowing they would do an amazing job. I was not disappointed at all. They had to go through so much more BS this time and still had smiles on their faces once the job was finally complete. What they thought was going to be about an hour job turned out to be over 2 1/2 hours. Knowing that I am by no means a wealthy man, they only charged me half of what they should have. I can't say enough about the manager and techs there! I wish every automotive shop in Omaha had the customer satisfaction standards that Midas does! I found my experience at Midas to be very positive! They called and told me what was recommended by the dealer for the miles. I asked if they would itemize them out so I could save for them, which they did. They asked if I wanted a brake inspection since they would be in that general area looking. When they called back told me my brakes looked better than originally thought! They were happy and polite. I would and will recommend them. read more

My insurance company recommended Glass Doctor. I was exhausted and wasn't sure how long this would take but Glass Doctor came through in record time. They called to have the windshield delivered asap and when I brought my Jeep in over an hour before my appointment, they drove it into the garage to prep it. I was home in Des Moines by 5:30pm. Need a technician, talk to Justin!!…read more It has been over a year with an AC problem with my Rigmaster APU. I was having to idle due to lack of working AC on the APU. I was being charged over & over again for supposed leaks & recharging the system. I had my own mechanic check it: He let me know, there were no leaks. Still other shops were trying to still fix leaks. None actually checked the entire systems' components & it's electronics as requested. Finally was able to get over to Nebraska Rigmaster. Justin tested everything. He took his time and his notes on his work were excellent; precise with individual readings for each component & his adjustments, replacements, etc. he is definitely a professional. What I needed was an AC clutch on the Compressor, but the components are all one unit. So, it was replaced. The Control Unit had shorted out, due to the bad AC Clutch, which early detection may have prevented the Control Unit from shorting out. Replaced that. I have AC again, finally. Had other shops done their job & tested the equipment. Money could have been saved. It's a shame, that in this industry; we have more people trying to make money on truckers, than actually doing the job requested. Thank you Big Rig, Nebraska for a job well done & an excellent (Josh) Technician.

I was told they didn't need it until the design was done so I left. The next day I had to go back across town to have the measurements taken from my vehicle because they did not have a 99 jeep cherokee measured. I sat and watched her scratch my vehicle with a metal tape measure and had to leave before I came unglued. I took my jeep in to get wrapped with a drawing I already made. They over charged for design work when I already had it drawn out. When I got my design they had to change what they did trying to rationalize spending an extra hour working on the design when it was not like the drawing I had so clearly drawn to scale. In the process of working though the design Katie was out of the office and I got an auto response from her email and I had to contact Joel. Now not working with the original person we went over the design with. When I went to pick up the vehicle I went out to do a walk around and the wrap was not finished and or bubbling. The rear windows had to be cut so the glass could go up and down. The rear window perforation was bubbling which could have been noticed with a simple walk around before I was called to pick it up. Now I am wasting other peoples time for a ride across town. I now had to go back and have the rear window redone without the perforation which could have been prevented in the first place with a discussion and knowledge of the product. I waited and watched the Technician in the shop and they did great work and have been limited by the capabilities of the front office. After scratching and all the trips I had made I thought just maybe I would get a break on the design labor 1hr instead of 2hrs but once again customer service has failed and I have been let down they demanded I pay the full amount without any proper explanation. I had a fleet of other vehicles trailers and other windows coverings to send to them and now I will tell them to go else where.
