The food is good enough. I mean, it's a sandwich shop, and you get your money's worth. But when I was in there today to pick up an order one of the girls behind the counter was complaining loudly and nonstop about "the manager, disrupting the other girl (who kept trying, unsuccessfully, to politely talk the complaining one down), and I want management to know that this took place. I don't care what beef this girl has with the manager, but this girl needs to be told: 1) you NEVER talk bad about any aspect of the place that employs you within earshot of customers. It's incredibly tacky and sets an uncomfortable mood for everyone present 2) the other girl was clearly trying to get the loud complainer to quiet down, and as a personal note, complainer should learn to read the room. The subs are decent, and the customer service is excellent. However, the sandwich shop often has inventory shortages. On one occasion, the sandwich shop ran out of bread. On separate occasions, they were also out of bacon and roast beef, and there was another instance when no soft drinks were available. In my opinion, this reflects poor management. read more

Severely understaffed. Ordered online at 12:05 original pick up time was 12:20. When I arrived they had a line out the door and one person making sandwiches and one ringing them up. I was then told my order would be ready soon, 12:45. And when I went back in the whole line was almost through but still waited for my sandwiches which were preferred 40 minutes earlier. This is a welcome change from a few submarine sandwich offering competitors also located in the area. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is soft and very wide, so a small sub is more than sufficient and an extra large is enough for two people. When I'm ravenous, I order the large, but you can always load up on as many veggies as you want. I am particularly fond of the East Coast, but found myself wanting to try the Santa Fe. I've also had a great tuna salad sub. On my last order, I didn't pick it up myself or write specific instructions, which was my mistake. I assumed it would come with only the ingredients listed in the description unless told otherwise. When I came back to fix it, Alex was patient and understanding, and thoroughly explained how the process works and how I can make sure I get exactly what I envisioned when I order next time.
