My basketball team tried to stop in on our way to a game and were greeted by very curt managers who informed us they would not feed us and we had to leave due to the size of our group. Had they said they could accommodate us but it may take awhile, we would have made the decision to leave anyway. However, the unapologetic manager with purple hair and piercings chose to inform us that they had the right to turn away any customer. The other manager ignored us altogether as we tried addressing how poorly we had been treated. I will not return and support a business more concerned with declaring its rights than how it treats customers. read more

People were very friendly. The girl with glasses tattoos and piercings was very helpful. She seemed so happy to be there which doesnt happen often. Very first time ever eating here and she walked us through everything. I would definitely come back if all your employees are as happy and friendly as her. I just finished eating my pastrami sandwich and it was so delicious I had to leave a review right away. My boyfriend and I popped in here on a road trip and got subs and it was truly the perfect pit stop. Great service and the proprietor was super friendly and helpful. Stopped by here the other day while on the way to Pittsburgh and had a roast beef sandwich on white. Excellent sandwich. The roast beef and toppings were fresh and flavourful. Little things like the lettuce being thinly chopped (shaved?) really made this sandwich. It is a little pricey (my 6-inch sub came to $7.95), but the quality of the sandwich is well worth the price. read more

Breezewood is like purgatory on the road to anywhere. Of your dining choices in highway purgatory , this sub shop serves up what seem to be fairly fresh subs. Other than that, it's minimal ambiance. But at least it's expensive. read more

We like to support independent businesses so we stopped in. Plenty of choices. I had an Italian sub, which usually has vinegar &oil dressing, but that wasn't an option, so just had mayo. The cold sandwiches are wonderful. Loved the bread. The thinly shredded lettuce is a nice touch. All Boar's Head meats. Also had a gluten free wrap option. The hot sandwiches take longer. My club tasted pretty good & the cheesesteak is less than a firehouse sub, but there isn't much of a selection. The indoor appearance seemed nice, but the smell was weird, the soda fountains were either marked Out or Order or the syrup wasn't filled, and the women's restroom was out of order while the men's door got stuck when trying to open & took a lot to open. I just don't get it. How is this place so well rated? Ok, they've got Boars Head meats. So what! For the "Italian" they use cheap Polish Ham, Mortadella (Italian bologna) and cheap salami. No capocollo. No prosciutto. No clue what an Italian hoagie is. And the sandwich ain't no where NEAR cheap! It's $13 for a 12" sub. That's ridiculous. And the bread is awful. Just awful. How does a sub place not have freshly baked bread? Before I went I knew it was expensive, but I just got paid $1,500 this week so I figured I'd treat myself. Big waste of money. My father and I stopped here on a road trip. We wanted to avoid large chains and support local businesses. I ordered the portobello melt, and my father ordered the Philly cheese steak. Both of our subs were amazing! The grilled onions were incredible. My sandwich was the most flavorful vegetarian sandwich I've ever eaten. The customer service was also great! The two men working there were very cheerful and friendly! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lunch spot. read more

Subplicity gets 5 stars in comparison to all the other Breezewood options. In another location it might not be remarkable but it's pretty cool to find this sub shop in the buzzing metropolis of Breezewood, which is mostly hotels and gas stations. Subplicity makes vegetarians welcome; they had an option for a (generously piled) cheese sub for a lower price than their meat offerings. When we arrived there was no line but I heard it does get busy at times. We had a short wait so I used the facilities: not sparkling clean but clean enough to satisfy. The subs tasted great, toppings were generous; we will stop there again next time we pass through town! read more

Staff wasn't welcoming, Cheesesteak was greasy and had no flavor. Pricey for the quality of product. Honestly just a very depressing vibe.

Breezewood, Pa is rather like a desert oasis in ancient Mesopotamia. That is, you'd rather not stop there, due to the fact that it's a depressing, over-priced traveler's trap, at which you're as likely to be accosted as you are to have a decent meal. But its convenient location and status as the last suitable stop before the mountains of Maryland will suck you in. We stop here at least twice each year on our journey to and from the in-laws in Annapolis. And prior to our discovery of Subplicity, the only place that my wife would agree to stop is at the Starbucks (well run, clean, and convenient, btw). We tracked down Sublicity, based on the good ratings on Yelp, and through no help of my GPS (the address didn't register), and enjoyed our meal. The help is super friendly-especially the Asian dude who described in detail, all of his favorites- and the subs were fresh and tasty (100% Boar's Head-you can't go wrong). The frightening aspect is the house keeping, or lack thereof. When I walked in to the place, I immediately noticed two hunks of unwrapped, unsliced meat sitting below the meat slicer. I thought to myself that that slicer must be out of service, because they would never let meat sit, at room temperature, on an active slicer. I was wrong, that is the slicer that was used for our subs, and the meat stayed put. Additionally, the men's bathroom door was broken, in a slightly open orientation, and the interior of the bathroom would have rankled even the most grizzled restaurant inspector. Finally, there is a general untidiness to the place. Anyway, great subs and service, scary facility. read more

So I'm on the road with my boyfriend when I become very hungry. We're vegetarian so options can be kinda slim. I found this sub shop that had a vegetarian and ooooman I almost cried when I looked into my hands to find nothing. I think I swallowed it whole.
