Best food in Everett. Very good homestyle, central Pennsylvanian food. Great food and great service. Also good to-go.

friendly little diner atmosphere. Food is great and comes out of kitchen quick and warm.

The carpet, this picture was taken in front of the salad bar but the whole floor was like this in the dining area.

Below the Union Hotel is a tavern called Mona's which is connected and an addition to The Union Hotel restaurant/12 room hotel. There's parking along the Main Street, as well as lots of spots in the back of the building. You can enter from the main entrance of the hotel and take the elevator down or you can head down the steps in the back to enter. Doesn't matter which way, just get here. We were absolutely blown away by the quality, portions, flavor profiles, and service in this little gem. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately by a super friendly bartender named Matt. He was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. He was always checking up on us and making sure that we were always good. Service was fabulous. There's a timeline of the history of this historic building on the back of the menu. We ordered two drinks. One was an apple cider margarita and the other was a strawberry gin fizz concoction that was amazing. Both of these drinks were delicious. If we weren't driving and staying in the actual hotel above this tavern, we would have tried several other ones on the menu. Lots of creative choices that looked to be tasty based on the mix of ingredients. For the food - the menu was enticing and extensive. Lots of creative things happening here. The app we decided on was the Parmesan crusted Brussels and boy did they not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. We opted for The French Dip with fries and some magical au jus and a Union Smash burger with fries for our meals. Both are highly recommended!!! The burger was served on this delicious cloud of brioche bun and stacked high with two patties (perfectly cooked), pickles, dijonaose, and cheese. The French Dip had the most magnificent crusty roll and tender meat. Then there are these amazing Parmesan parsley fries that are perfectly cooked and served hot! We could have eaten an entire plate of these. To go boxes were needed. Big portions. We couldn't fit dessert! The bill does come with some tasty Andes mints. Prices here are extremely reasonable! I can't stress enough about how absurd it is that this small town has such a hidden treasure of a place where the food is beyond amazing. This place is a full package. If you live anywhere within an hour or even two, come here!! You won't regret this decision. Scrumptious!!!!

They had soft country music playing and country decorations on the walls. Very pleasant atmosphere. I got a loaded baked potato and a grilled chicken salad. The baked orator was one of the best I've ever had. Cooked perfectly and had plenty of melted cheese and bacon bits on it. The salad was BIG. My Mom had fried steak dinner. It came with mashed potato's, plenty of gravy and a side salad. Nice size serving of meat and she ate the whole thing so I know she loved it. We got dessert too. All the desserts are home made. I got strawberry pie (tons of strawberries) and Mom had some sort of Angel food cake with a pineapple whipped cream sauce all over it. Yum. Our server was super nice and the service was good. She came and checked on us multiple times. Very pleasant lady.

This five-star review doesn't come because this side of the country isn't saddled with many replete restaurant choices. But because the food is cooked fresh and the wait isn't normally too long. Just think classic, American diner food, but cooked better. The last time, my roasted beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and beef gravy was so hearty and delicious, I ate it all. It can get quite busy sometimes so I would recommend reservations for larger groups. And every time I came here, I left with a box full of sugar cookies from the bakery to take back home to FL to enjoy. There's no better touch-of-home than a homemade sugar cookie with frosting. The tavern on the second floor is a really nice old place as well. They still have rooms on the upper floor, i bet it would be wild to stay here, i'm sure as old as Jean Bonnet is there has to be some good ghost stories. We live over an hour and a half away and make the drive every few months because it's so good. The service has been quick and fairly attentive. The food is wonderful, try the crispy pork (if you suffer acid reflux make sure you take your medicine!) we prefer the original, but the occasional special black and blueberry version is very good too. Also try the tomato bisque if it's available and both dips (shrimp & crab, spinach & artichoke) and if you're in the mood try the frozen piña colada. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of their food though!

I sent word to the manager that "I would be ashamed to serve the beans." He glanced over to our table and walked away. Very poor service and attitude. I would have come and given a sincere apology for failing in his duties as a manager. The chicken was dry and unseasoned. Don't order sweet tea if you like your tea sweet. There seems to be zero sugar. The only bright spot was the salad. The ingredients were fresh and nice and crispy. Our server started off good, but once the food was served, he never came back till he brought the bill. The chairs are hard and uncomfortable. What a waste of money. We will definitely not return. Also, our server never brought bread to our table.
