Why go to a retail facility when you can go to their source? I have used Suburban propane to fill my forklift cylinders for over 16 years now and I use them for my BBQ grill cylinders as well. I am always greeted by friendly attendants who take the time to actually talk to you while your tanks fill. Their prices are great and the service is even better. I will continue doing business with them for years to come. My only gripe is a matter of convenience.. If you want to pay via credit card (as I usually do for my company fills) you can't "pay at the pump" so to speak. They make you go inside and then have to wait for them to go through a lengthy process for them to run your card through some web-based site. The whole process takes between five and seven minutes. On the bright side, the office staff is just as friendly as the two guys filling the cylinders. read more

This is my new go-to place for refilling my BBQ tanks. Previously I had gone to Orchard Supply Hardware in Yorba Linda for tank exchange but they are closing so I needed a new place. I found Suburban on Yelp. It is still close to my home and what I liked today was the ease of service. You just pull into their parking lot, walk about 25 feet and fill up at their little kiosk. I paid cash and will probably continue to do so to avoid having to go inside to use a card. The attendant was friendly. I don't know how crowded the place would be like on, say, a Saturday, but today, Tuesday, the process was a breeze. read more

Brought my tank into Suburban because it was "leaking" from the valve. Turns out the last place had overfilled my 7 gallon by 2 extra gallons. Which would have caused my rv regulator to blow. He saved me a ton of money. Nothing had to be fixed they just released the pressure, and extra gas. Thanks Rick! I will definitely be bringing all my propane tanks here from now on! Having been to a lot of places like uhaul that rank low on service and after reading all of the Yelp reviews on Suburban Propane, I decided to give it a try. First, I called to confirm they would _not_ be on lunch. I found out they have two attendants now, and at least one is on duty. They never close for lunch. So, I headed over. I pulled up along the curb near the filling area. Both attendants greeted me and were friendly and professional from beginning to end. I'm taking one star away for the awkwardness of paying with a credit card inside, rather than outside at the kiosk. Also, the prices here are fantastic. read more

I would definitely avoid this business. I had them come out and look at a home propane tank for a refill that another company does weekly with the exact same truck. Misleading ad. Not $10 for 5 gal tank fill up. They only fill up to 4 gal. My had some left over in the old tank,. So they only put 3.1 gal and I paid $10, which is a saving of $1.68. But still cheaper than home depot. read more

Everyone was nice. Don't know what service issues people are talking about. Today the price was $3.25 a gallon. Credit card payment requires you give your full address to them so they can input in a computer. Next time I am paying cash.
