New year, new review…read more Popped in after a morning of skiing New Year's Day and place was packed for lunch! I didn't mind as I was in no rush. As I waited in line I enjoyed conversations with both the people in front and behind me whom all have never been before. The joy and excitement on their faces as they made their way to order was priceless. As for myself, a small mac to help start the new year strong for total lbs sold (81k in 2024) and a small pulled pork. Wanted to order some other things but my refrigerator is full at home, so another time. If this will be your first time, just be aware of parking could be very busy as there's not much. Both ways before pull out of parking spaces as well. Main road can be a cluster at times. I also recommend getting lots of little things rather than a little of a lot. You can always come back for more!

A local had suggested this spot as a favorite roadtrip stop, and it is now my new favorite too!…read moreLimited parking and togo lines were long, but service was quick. There are 2 lines - deli and sandwiches. Great selection of Vermont-made snacks, drinks, and souvenirs as well. I ordered: - Macaroni and cheese ($4.29 per 1/2 lb) made with Vermont's Cabot cheddar cheese - very creamy, cheesy, and had a perfect texture. - Maple BBQ Pulled Pork ($5.99 per 1/2 lb) - very juicy and moist - Turkey Sandwich - had this the next day and it was still tasty. Not dry at all. All were very flavorful and delicious! Highly recommend visiting ~ I can't wait to be back :)

I asked the guy if he was a Christian and he said oh that explains why you're the way you are and he said you believe in someone controlling you? I said have fun in hell and I told him I was going to make complaints so I've reported on Google. While I appreciate that some sides like the baked potato and salads can be customized, it's disappointing that a company as large and influential as Wendy's hasn't made more effort to provide inclusive options. I would love to see Wendy's introduce a veggie-focused entrée, such as a plant-based burger, that could be made both vegan and gluten-free. Additionally, having a gluten-free bun or menu filter when ordering would go a long way in making the ordering process easier and safer for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. I understand that implementing these changes can be more expensive upfront, but I genuinely believe that offering more inclusive choices would attract a wider customer base and increase overall business in the long run. There's a growing demand for plant-based and allergen-friendly meals, and I hope Wendy's considers being a leader in this space. Just some food for thought--from someone who would love to enjoy Wendy's more often if given the chance!

It was fairly well accommodated - we got four tables of 6 to ourselves and organized as needed. As a longtime 99 connoisseur going back to my college days, I had an idea of what to expect here. I offer the following on each point. * Food: A weak 4 stars. I had two apps. The mozzarella moons were overdone and a little underfilled but not bad in terms of taste. Right amount of dipping sauce. I also went for seafood stuffies - a pair of stuffies instead of one stuffie + chowder (lunch special). That was disappointing, as the stuffie was mostly stuff and very little clam. I've been to a good number of places in Greater Rhode Island that serve it up right, chock full of chopped clam. But overall food tasted great, I tried a couple of leftover fries and those were solid, and there were no leftovers. * Service: A bit jumbled. Orders all around us were not sure which table they were going to. A couple of times we were asked around about a dish none of us ordered. Now, everything we did order came out correctly, so there's that. And they kept my water glass filled. * Ambiance: The typical. A little limited by the hard barriers between tables, but plenty of room for 20+ people. I just feel like with the slow death of "old casual" restaurants like Applebee's, TGI Fridays, Houlihan's, and similar, 99 is more of the same and next on the block if they don't make a couple of changes. I'd rather pay an extra dollar or two to have my food not only taste good, but be packed with the ingredients I love. I'd rather pay an extra dollar or two to have quick, reliable service. Dear 99: Be more like the Cheesecake Factories and LongHorn Steakhouses of the land.
