Delicious food. They now have you order right when you walk in the door. This means all the customers are bunched up at the door and you have to walk through a crowd of people to get to the napkins/coffee/seating and pick up. This place just keeps going further down hill. 10 years ago it was my first choice for coffee and bagels. Today I wish I hadn't wasted my time. The sandwich I paid for came without the meat I paid for and the request not to cut was ignored. I could not be much more disappointed. This location has in average a 30% chance you will get your order correct! Wrong bagel or half of one bagel and the other half of another seems to be the most common error. Missing bacon from a bacon egg and cheese. I order every weekend and it's more of a surprise when the order is correct. read more

Terrible service, specifically the MANAGER. I went in based on a promotion, I left my coupon at work. I said I would be right back with it, but they said I should purchase the items and come back later and they would refund me. I was foolish to listen to the manager. When I came back, they completely changed their story and said I had to have it at the time of purchase. If that was the case, then they shouldn't have sold me the items on false pretenses. While travelling to work in the morning I was craving a bagel with cream cheese and I want to try something a little different than my typical Dunkin Donuts. I decided to try out Bruegger's Bagels in Brattleboro for the first time since I was a huge fan of the Amherst location. When I walked into the store I was warmly greeted by the staff who ask me how my day was going and what I wanted to order. I decided to get one of their pesto and cheese covered bagels with veggie cream cheese. I'm so excited that I chose this particular bagel because it was delicious! The bagel was cooked to perfection and they put just the right amount of cream cheese on it. In the end I'm happy that I stopped at this breakfast shop not only for their product but also because of the amazing service I received. I will have to make this one of my go-to morning spots. read more

Cute place for a bagel & coffee. Good variety of bagel types (maybe a dozen or more) and variety of cream cheeses (at least 6) and coffees too. Ordered the rosemary & olive oil bagel with light herb garlic cream cheese -- yummy! A good amount of cream cheese without being excessive is what I liked the most. Inexpensive and nice staff. Minimal seating and just two tables outside. Decent regular coffee, but nothing special. Unique - they make greek yogurt spreads in a few flavors. Looked really good, though I didn't try. I'd never seen this before and thought it was unique they offered it. read more

Early afternoon on the Fourth of July and nothing was open for lunch so we were lucky to see a Bruegger's. Apparently, they now sell hamburgers. No one was in line but it took awhile. The man helping us decided to make the hamburger totally before asking me what my order was so I felt that wasted some time. I got the Greek Goddess sandwich. It was just okay. My partner got the hamburger and it was pretty good (complete with an egg on top). We tried the soup and that was good too and the new iced coconut flavor is delicious. The tables were all a mess and it didn't have a super clean feel to it and the prices were a bit high for the amount of food but it tasted good and wouldn't stop me from returning to another Bruegger's in the future. read more

The food is good but I am not a fan of the employees. Every time I have stepped into Bruegger's I am automatically glared at by the employees because they think my friends and I are going to "cause trouble". Although I understand that there have been middle school groups being loud and interrupting I do not think that gives the employees a reasonable explanation to assume and to make people leave just because we are a student. Some people just want a bagel after a long day at school! It is crazy how many times this has happened to me. For example, my friends and I walked in and purchased food. While we were sitting down I realized I forgot something outside so I went and got it. When I got back inside and sat down to eat the food we BOUGHT THERE an employee came up and asked my friends and I to leave because I was apparently "coming in and out to much". I had simply gone out once to grab something. Another example, my friend and I went into Bruegger's, only my friend bought food because I didn't have money. My friend went to the bathroom so I sat down. As I was waiting for her, an employee looked at me and started talking about how I was not aloud to sit down because I "didn't buy anything" it was very very rude and it made me feel like I was not welcomed even thought I was just simply sitting there and waiting for my friend to get out of the bathroom. I just think personally high schoolers and middle schoolers and a big source of Bruegger's income and the employees are constantly kicking us out or getting made at us because they assume things. They just are very rude. It has made me no longer go to Bruegger's just because every time I have gone in there this has happened. read more

The bagels are alright, not the best ones I've ever had but not bad at all. I would describe them as average sized and chewy. The cream cheese tasted a little odd, sweet but like false sugar, and they put considerably less cream cheese than most joints around these parts do (just enough for one side in East-coast terms imo). Staff had the bagels out quickly, though I believe they should have actually toasted the bagels rather than just heating them. Just my two cents. Still pretty happy with this shop. The counter servers were great this morning. The young woman making the sandwiches and bagels was so skilled and so fast! She said she's worked there over three years, which makes me think the shop must be well managed to retain such an obviously valuable employee. As well, the young woman at the cash register making the drinks was friendly and efficient. And oh yeah....the coffee and the chicken salad were great. :-). You lose a star with me for being just a tad pricey. read more
