    Western Breakfast Sandwich

The Western from Bruegger's is so good that my boyfriend and I actually recreated it ourselves at home. So good

Never miss a beat. Love that this is a breakfast option for me. All their options are great and the associates are always pleasant.

Fine place for bagels, better than DD, fewer BBs these days, have always like the bagel sandwich concept.

Of course, we went for the mac & cheese. We were surprised at how much other stuff they had, like fresh, baked goods, a deli, prepared foods and an amazing dessert case! They have tables next-door at the store that you can sit out and eat your food out. It has cute little gifts and local food items that you can buy. We had the mac & cheese on the way up and on the way back, bought more mac & cheese, some kale slaw, and some fresh made deli sandwiches. My sandwich was great, my wife got tuna and I will say they could've added a little more for the price. The rancid was rancid so I actually threw it away and didn't get to try it. Everyone was great from the guy who checked us out to the Deli person who made our sandwiches. If this is on your way, definitely stop in, you won't be disappointed.

As I waited in line I enjoyed conversations with both the people in front and behind me whom all have never been before. The joy and excitement on their faces as they made their way to order was priceless. As for myself, a small mac to help start the new year strong for total lbs sold (81k in 2024) and a small pulled pork. Wanted to order some other things but my refrigerator is full at home, so another time. If this will be your first time, just be aware of parking could be very busy as there's not much. Both ways before pull out of parking spaces as well. Main road can be a cluster at times. I also recommend getting lots of little things rather than a little of a lot. You can always come back for more!

What you'd hope for in an updated rustic old Vermont building. 2. The service has been excellent on both visits, with the caveat that breakfast is busy and the food took a long time to arrive. 3. Breakfast was solid. Not transcendent but solid eggs and toast and home fries and coffee and everybody seemed happy. Room for improvement 1. For Putney Vermont - get some decent vegan and vegetarian options. 2. The veggie burger was bean based, mushie old-school 70's style. Fell apart as soon as you picked it up. 3. The cheeseburger was good. It's just that for $18 you could show a little more attention to detail. A greenish slice of winter tomato. A single leaf of iceberg lettuce. 2 ringlets off an onion slice. And no pickle. 4. The fries that came with it had to be sent back to be cooked longer. And there was a big puddle of oil on the plate once I slid the par-cooked fries onto a side dish. The server was lovely about it and they came back fast and cooked through. But my guess is the oil wasn't hot enough hence the grease puddle. 5. The chicken orzo soup was meh. I don't try it. Brought it home for sick family member. And sorry but my personal pet peeve - the pre-calculated tip options were 20,22,25% and all calculated on top of the sales tax. Understand that it has gotten VERY expensive to go out for a burger for your average local. So putting a little more attention into it would be greatly appreciated. All the best, and thank you.

THAT SAID - this place being my first stop in Vermont really set the stage for pretty much the total opposite of everything I'm accustomed to (and next several days in the state passed the vibe check too!). It was wonderful to see so many healthy options inclusive of all types of dietary needs, as well as wide variety of locally sourced produce, ingredients, packaged goods, sauces, and more. Flowers/bouquets for sale in various parts of the store is a lovely touch! Had to smile each time I passed them. Everyone was so friendly and seemed brimming with enthusiasm and joy each time one person ran into another. I don't know if everyone *really* knew each other, but they all gave off an energy that they were so happy to cross paths and were all old friends. This being my first stop upon crossing state lines had me in such an inspired mindset for the weekend I even made a little walkthrough tour TikTok, and one day hopefully soon it will adventure its way out of the drafts. Oh! Thank you for showcasing local artists and events outside, too. And having a community garden?! I could go on and on...

When I got my coffee it looked off to begin with and when I took a sip there was definitely something nutty in there. Went to get it remade and not make a fuss when I was told and sworn to that there was oat milk in the coffee and not almond milk. Had my coworker test it as this point this is my life we are talking about. There was definitely a hint of hazelnut or almond milk in the coffee. Went over and one of the other associates smelled it and right off she could tell there was something nutty in the coffee. Called the manager who wasn't there and I left without a coffee, a migraine and stomach pains all because the first guy couldn't just remake the coffee. Then to find out they don't pour the milks from cartons, they pour them into unlabeled cups for easy access. This is absolutely unacceptable. Not sure what I expected from Dunkin but it's very disappointing as I've been going there for years. They took my information and I can't get a follow up or a refund and it's been a whole week later. Definitely looking into this further as it's disgusting how they made a mistake that could have landed me in the ER and no one has thought to follow up.
