I was also surprised to learn that they now have a choice of fries between their famous curly fries and now a crinkle option. I ordered the number 5, which was a bacon burger, and opted for the curly fries and a medium soda. The burger tasted decent. It wasn't a bad burger. But also, it was thrown together kind of sloppily. The fries were mostly crispy and good. I wouldn't mind a sloppy but fine-tasting burger if the price matched the experience, but it didn't. I paid just over $15 for a relatively unremarkable burger that was sliding off the bun (along with a good amount of cheese sticking to the paper) when I unwrapped it, a handful of fries, and a medium soda. I get that things are more expensive these days than they used to be, but I know of a few great sit-down restaurants where I can get a much better looking and tasting burger than that for the same price or less. Based on this, I think it will be even longer before I ever return to Arby's again, if at all. Overall, it was okay for being fast food but just not worth the price in my opinion.
