Chicken tenders and fries with Texas toast
    Courtney L.

The chicken tenders tasted good but were smaller than the ones I remembered in Athens. I did t think the coleslaw was good or the fries. The sauce is good and better than zaxby's. If you're craving chicken fingers and in the area it is a good spot. The menu is so limited you have to only want chicken tenders, but they are good.

I can't give it a 5 Star Review since I've only been once...Guthrie's will get the chance though given my first experience. Extremely friendly and helpful "Dudes" working the front and back (walk in customer). Offered great advice and conversation while I waited for my freshly cooked box. The Chicken Tenders were hot, crispy, and flavorful WITHOUT the Guthrie Sauce...they were even better with the Sauce. Everything else was really good, even the Toast which is usually an afterthought at chains. The Cole Slaw lacked the same enthusiasm to my taste buds and had I had more sauce I would've spiced it up a bit...or maybe a little more mayonnaise (which I didn't see on the condiment bar). I'll ask for "Crispy" or "Well Done" Fries next time. Finally, I saved a Chicken Tender for later (took a lot of Willpower) so I could try one cold - Wow!

Food was cold and soggy. Chicken fingers must have been sitting out for quite some time.

My family and I visited your location for dinner late Sunday evening, August 16, 2026. We have…read morevisited this location several times, and overall, we have had positive experiences. During this particular visit, however, we noticed several concerns that we wanted to bring to your attention. First, the restaurant floor was extremely wet and slippery. We are not sure what cleaning product is being used, but the floor remained wet for an extended period of time. We understand the importance of keeping the restaurant clean, but the floor should also be safe for customers and employees. We recommend ensuring that floors are properly dried after cleaning and that any cleaning products being used do not leave the surface excessively slippery. We also noticed that the dining area was unusually warm. It appeared that the air conditioning may have been operating in the back of the restaurant where the employees were working, but the front dining area did not seem to have adequate air conditioning. The only noticeable air movement in the customer seating area appeared to be from a ceiling fan running at a very low speed. The temperature made the dining experience uncomfortable. We ordered the snack tray meals three of them, which was seven dollars each. You could pick up to four items which is very affordable for a family. If you would like to upgrade to a shake, you can do so for additional dollar 50 the cheese curds are very good. The burgers are good as well. The chicken nuggets were decent. The fries were good the okra you get a nice portion of it but it needs a little bit of seasoning on the okra. In our opinion a little salt, pepper, and or seasoned salt is needed. In addition, my husband used the men's restroom and noticed that there was no soap available in the restroom. There were also gnats/insects present in the restroom area. While we did notice a sink with a soap dispenser in the restaurant lobby, customers using the restroom should not have to leave the restroom to find soap. Because this is a restaurant serving food to the public, proper sanitation and cleanliness are extremely important. Restrooms should consistently be clean, stocked with soap, and free of insects. We would strongly recommend that management implement regular restroom checks throughout the day to ensure that soap and other necessary supplies remain available and that the area is properly cleaned and maintained. We want to emphasize that the food during our visit was hot and fresh, and the employees we interacted with were friendly. These concerns are specifically related to the conditions we observed during this visit. We have been to this location multiple times, and this was the first time we noticed these particular issues with the air conditioning, slippery floor, and men's restroom. We are sharing this feedback because we believe these matters can be addressed and improved. We appreciate your attention to these concerns and hope they will be reviewed with the appropriate management and staff to help ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for customers. Thank you for taking the time to review our feedback. We look forward to seeing improvements during our future visits.

I was a little disappointed with the portion sizes of the French fries and onion rings, although both tasted great. The milkshake was also thicker than I expected and was more like ice cream than a traditional shake. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely be back to give them another try. Hopefully next time they'll be a little more generous with the sides.

Summary: Manager Shakira treated me very rudely and unfairly…read moreat Culver's #613, located at 6778 Hickory Flat Hwy, Canton, GA 30115. What should have been a simple food order for my autistic child turned into a petty, controlling, and intimidating situation over two slices of cheese. My family has ordered the same thing from Culver's for years: two grilled chicken filets with a slice of cheese. We have always been charged for the grilled chicken filets with cheese added separately, not as full sandwiches without buns. My husband had just ordered it the same way the week before. On this visit, Shakira suddenly said it had to be charged as full sandwiches because cheese counted as a topping. So I changed the order and paid for the grilled chicken filets plain. Then I tried to buy the two cheese slices separately, which another employee was willing to ring up for about 85 cents. Shakira ran over and stopped him from selling it to me. At that point, it felt less like policy and more like control. She would rather refund an approximately $20 order that I had already paid for than allow me to buy two slices of cheese separately. She then threatened to call the police while I was waiting for my refund. As a Black customer, having a white manager threaten to call police over two slices of cheese felt very concerning. The only thing I could think was that this felt like what society calls a "Karen" situation -- escalating something small and unnecessary instead of calmly resolving it. She also slammed the drive-thru window hard after saying she would call the police. Now for the full details: I had a very troubling experience at Culver's #613, located at 6778 Hickory Flat Hwy, Canton, GA 30115, involving manager Shakira. My family has ordered from this Culver's location for years. We regularly order two grilled chicken filets with a slice of cheese for my autistic child, who eats the same foods consistently. This has always been rung up as grilled chicken filets with cheese added separately, not as full sandwiches without buns. My husband had just ordered this same way the week before without any issue. On this visit, I ordered the same thing: two grilled chicken filets with cheese. For the first time ever, manager Shakira told me that if cheese is added to grilled chicken, the order must be rung up as full sandwiches without buns. I made it clear that I did not want lettuce, tomato, bun, or any sandwich toppings. I only wanted the grilled chicken filets with cheese, the same way we have ordered them many times before. Shakira said this was their policy and that the policy had supposedly been in place for years, although she also said other employees may not have been aware of it or may not have been following it. Since Shakira said the issue was the cheese being added as a topping to the chicken, I attempted to resolve the issue by purchasing the grilled chicken filets plain. I paid for two plain grilled chicken filets and received a receipt showing the grilled chicken filets, not sandwiches. After that, I attempted to purchase two slices of cheese separately. Another employee was willing to ring up the cheese separately and quoted it at about 85 cents, but Shakira stopped him from selling it to me. She appeared to refuse the cheese because she knew I intended to use it with the chicken. At that point, it felt less like a policy issue and more like pettiness and control. Instead of trying to calmly resolve a simple food-order issue, she offered only the food without cheese or a refund. She then threatened to call police if I did not leave after the refund. I had already asked for my refund and was waiting to receive my money back. As a Black customer, being threatened with police over a minor order dispute involving two slices of cheese felt intimidating, unnecessary, and racially concerning. She also slammed the drive-thru window hard during the interaction. I repeatedly asked for my refund because I had already paid for the order and had a receipt. The order was approximately $20, and Shakira seemed willing to have Culver's lose that entire sale rather than allow me to purchase two slices of cheese separately for about 85 cents. That does not sound like good customer service or good management. It felt like ego, control, and pettiness. I also asked how to contact someone above her or how to contact corporate. Shakira stated that the owner is Tim Auseth and said that there was no way to reach corporate beyond him because he is the franchise owner. She also stated that because it is his store, he has his own rules and standards. That was concerning to hear, because this location still operates under the Culver's name. I later went to another Culver's location the same day, and they were able to ring up a similar order as grilled chicken filets with American cheese charged separately. That is how my family has commonly ordered it before.

A great representation of the franchise. The ingredients were of the quality that we have come to…read moreexpect from these stores. And Service was friendly and the wait was short for our freshly made food. This is a newer building and it is clean, attractive, and welcoming.

When I asked if anyone was close to finishing their meal, I was told no that everyone there had just been seated! We waited 35 minutes for a table (which is fine BUT..) when they decided to seat a family of 4 before us that had only been there for 15 minutes. The family they were seating was even SO shocked that they looked at us and said no you guys were here first and apologized. When I asked the young waitress why she skipped us, she replied that the table was for 4. I expressed that it was not ok to skip over us and that we were not going to keep waiting while they continue to skip over us and that we would leave. She shrugged and said "Ok" while the short fat woman that was training her looked in our faces and loudly said "Oh well"! When we got in the car and I called for the manager, she first blamed us for leaving and then tried to blame the waitress in training. I'm not sure what training has to do with common sense or etiquette but it seems as though none of the 3 women had either! This ENTIRE experience was HORRIBLE!!
