Stopped by today to try out their burger. I've got an update. They accept credit cards. :-) Prices have gone up (where hasn't it?) but you can still get a burger for $6. Adding cheese makes it $7 and adding bacon makes it $10. The last time I came here was pre-Covid. Whatever small, interior hole-in-the-wall charm has been pushed out to reclaim storage space and make it more of a takeout or dine outside experience. It's not great, but there is a two-person table pushed by the wall that really isn't for customers, but they let me eat my lunch there since it was pretty frigid outside. Going with the cold weather theme, I got a bowl of chili to go with my burger -- a single deluxe with cheese and bacon. I was impressed with how fast it came out. Pretty good burger. My only complaint is cheese wasn't melted on it. The chili was chunky, hot, and tasty... a perfect complement to temperature in the 40s. read more

This is a really good spot literally in the middle of no where. I got the blackened chicken wrap and it was amazing. My friends love to get their cheesesteak every time they come. Service is quick and easy. You order at a window, sit down and they'll call your order. Parking is limited from what I saw up front. Most people grab their food and go. Great lunch spot! read more

One of town worst places I've eaten. Breakfast tasted awful, hash browns patties and sausage looked like something you will buy from Walmart and eggs didn't have any taste at all. A Canton staple! Nestled at the top of Sugar Pike and Lower Union Hill Rd. The staff/owners at SP are awesome! Everything we have had from here is consistently delicious! You can eat there or grab it to go! My husband gets to go from here probably once or twice a week. He loves their breakfast burritos! I don't know what kind of crack the people who gave this place 4 plus stars is on, but this place is mediocre AT BEST. This place is dirty, the food is sub-par, the service is just okay. So my question is, are people just that starved for breakfast food around here? Or do people just settle for complete mediocrity in the absence of great food? Five star review if it weren't for the mediocre hash browns. We had delicious country ham biscuits and bacon egg and cheese biscuits which were worth the trip. Then bacon was crispy and eggs freshly cooked on a nice homemade biscuit. But the country ham biscuit was the best I've had in years. Nice salty ham resting perfectly in the warm buttery biscuit. Having moved into the area at the end of 2022, we found and decided to try Sugar Pike Junction for lunch one day. The philly cheesesteak was very good... maybe not the best I've had... but good. Subsequently, i tried the hamburger and it WAS the best I've had in a long time. Then we tried the bacon egg cheese biscuits, biscuits & gravy, and grits. All of those were excellent... also likely the best i've had in a long time. However, I ended up noticing a 4% Other Fee charge on my credit card receipt. I know several places are charging back the 2%, but 4%? Really? That will make me reconsider visiting again... seems a bit greedy to me. Think about it as I'd really love to keep eating there, but I don't always carry a lot of cash around. read more

NOW TAKING CREDIT CARDS! We ate here for the third time this morning. Be aware if you come that there is little seating inside with a bit more outside. They do a lot of takeout but if you don't plan to do takeout, be prepared to eat outside or possibly in your car. Eating in the car was our plan B today but because so many customers prior to us did takeout, we were able to eat inside. We love discovering these little hole-in-the-wall mom and pop restaurants doing it right. First, let me state right up front that I'm not really a fan of biscuits but man, these are good! I had an egg, cheese, and bacon biscuit and it was delicious! The biscuit was warm and so soft. Again, not a biscuit fan, but I am a fan of these. Next time I'm getting at least two of these. The bacon was crisp, not burned, not greasy, and tasted good, like bacon should but sometimes doesn't. The prefect addition. I also ordered a double cheeseburger and it was very good too. It was cooked well, not under or overcooked, and still juicy! My wife got an egg and cheese biscuit and loved it as well. That's a real shame for me because I was kind of hoping to snag hers if she didn't like it...but no dice! Last, I want to point out the value I feel like I get. I was expecting our order to be wrong and missing something because the price seemed too low. But, everything was correct! Their prices are just that reasonable. They was very RUDE! They didn't even get our order right! My mom ordered a ham and cheese biscuit and I ordered sausage and after waiting 10 minutes telling us they don't have ham! Then told my mom she could only have one thing on her biscuit. But on mine was egg and cheese and I only wanted sausage. The gravy was watery. Biscuit was can wasn't even homemade.
