Most of our fellow guests appeared to be regulars, with much conversatioin shred by multiple tables. My wife is not normally an entree person, preferring a combo of appetizers and soup or salad. Tonight she had a starter Caesar salad with house made dressing and the shrimp on a stick entree. She wanted to lick the plate, but restrained herself. I also had a side salad with house made blue cheese dressing and the Friday special of prime rib with a side of "small fries". I foolishly thought that meant small in amount. Not so much. They sent out a basket of homemade fries that took some serious effort to finish. Prime rib was great. The staff was friendly, attentive and accomodating, without being intrusive. All in all this was an A+++ experience. Just a great way to spend a Friday evening. We will be back.

They kindly pre-wrapped my to-go half in an aluminum and paper sandwich wrap with tape to hold it, and plated the half to stay on a small paper plate with plastic fork. Very kind to do that even when I said I'd be happy to do it myself with a to go wrapper. I ordered the cheesesteak with peppers and onions and a dash of vinegar and oil. The beef cheesesteak was similar to a flank steak cut chopped into easy to bite shreds. My cousin ordered a chicken cheesesteak with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, shredded lettuce, thin sliced tomato, and mayo. The chicken seemed to be mostly white meat chopped into easy to bite shreds as well. Good selection of local sweet flavored teas and chocolate milk from Ritchey's Dairy in Martinsburg, PA, and Coca Cola soda products in the coolers to choose from.
