A decent selection of national and local canned variety of beer. I opted for Super Nova IPA 6.8 % ABV from Middlebury VT. The owner/chef Jonny is friendly, quick with a smile. A great guitar and base player. Stop in the afternoon toward the end of the end to enjoy some blues and jazz. Don't forget to bring your favorite instrument to join in on the fun.

The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.

They offer daily lunch specials, many of which feature their fantastic smoked meats. Their smoked sausages and bacon are delicious too. As you would expect of a general store, they offer a little bit of everything. Clothing, food, liquor, etc. Their efforts to support other local small businesses shows their dedication to the community. The staff are really friendly as well. I loved everything about Singleton's....came back three days in a row just to order their lunch special and pick up some odds and ends. Even ran my dogs around in their snowy picnic area outside. For my meal, I had the chicken and waffles sandwich which were decent; there was crispy fried chicken, cole slaw, in between freshly made fluffy waffles. It was overall decent, but something was missing; I think that was some maple syrup or some hot sauce. My child had the fried Mac and cheese donut; it's a Mac and cheese shaped into a donut; this was good and a cute way to present food. Overall, a good spot to get some breakfast and lunch.

Each entree was beautiful, unique, very tasty. Ours briefly was 1) sweet corn, ricotta & pesto soup 2) seared Ahi with fried potato and lemon aioli 3) waygu with radish cream, microgreens 4) red gem salad with roasted beets and goat cheese, blueberry vinaigrette 5) Pavlova with berries and oat clusters Wow. The service was attentive and kind. The space was so thoughtfully decorated - everything from the lighting (gentle), to beautiful chairs/tables/dinnerware/flatware/decor- all adds to the beauty, presentation, and ambiance. We traveled here for the skiing, but found this gem of an experience.
