It was very, very busy at 2:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon which I take as a good sign! It makes sense that this place is busy - the prices are low and there is a lot of variety of Vietnamese food on offer. I am an adventurous eater but I am also cheap - a winning combination here! I ordered a Korean BBQ bahn mi while my sister ordered a Korean BBQ bahn mi with spring rolls and a lychee boba tea. The meat was SO GOOD GUYS! So much better than any $7 sandwich had any right to have. There was the perfect amount sauce on the meat. My only suggestion is to include more pickled vegetables on top. Life is always better with an excessive amount of pickled foods. I plan to come back to Bahn Mi Barista next time I am in town.
