    Cane's Box Combo

With no further adieu, we finally hit up the new Cane's on Coliseum... Dave Portnoy 6.1 We tried to go before, but line was wrapped around the entire parking lot shortly after opening. We've been to other Cane's in the past and while it's not better chicken than Chick-Fil-A, Cane's holds its own... This location however was just ok. To start, it took 35 minutes to get through the drive thru (I'll blame the traffic engineer though, not Cane's). The service was great and friendly, but the food was below average and not on par with other Cane's... The chicken tenders were tiny (and greasy) and the fries were under done and soggy. All-in-all, pretty disappointed with the new Cane's, so I doubt we'll go back.

Showing I ordered a box combo

Usually great service but this time I ordered a box combo and only received 3 tenders and my styrofoam box had holes in it. The drive through was quick and decent.

We were able to hit up this new restaurant this past weekend. The drive-through line was crazy busy so we decided to walk in and eat at the restaurant. Luckily the line moved very quickly and the food, albeit slower than other fast food restaurants was still considered fast. They don't have a lot of items on the menu, which helps streamline the food. The chicken tenders were quite moist and fresh. The fries were unfortunately undercooked not enough salt added. The coleslaw was just terrible. It wasn't sweet or sour. It just had no taste. overall, if this place can keep up the quality I think people will come back for the chicken tenders however there is a lot of mediocre restaurants in Fort Wayne so if the quality slides, so will the customers. I wish they didn't have the disco balls in the dining room as it was quite distracting and does not fit the decor.

We visited the NEW Rasing Canes, Greeted right when we walked in the door by the staff. We ordered a pan of 25 tenders, it was $39.99. Food came it very fast. The chicken tenders were so juicy and delicious!!! Not a big fan of the Cains Sauce. I asked for BBQ Sauce instead. They don't have it at all. Restaurant was clean. We will definitely visit again when we are in Fort Wayne.

Caniac Combo! I love the chicken so much!

Great food! Has to be my favorite fast food restaurant of all time! The service is kind and helpful. Although do expect a long line of chicken finger craving customers!

Chicken fingers were under par. I would rather have Culver's any day. French fries were undercooked and inedible.

Had the chance to eat at Shigs In Pit while in Fort Wayne, and it was a solid BBQ stop. I ordered…read morethe wings with half Shigs seasoning and half white sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly, juicy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning had a great balance of spices, and the white sauce paired nicely without overpowering the wings. My wife ordered the two-meat plate with smoked turkey, pulled pork, apple pie baked beans, and the green chili mac and cheese. The apple pie baked beans were tasty, and the green chili mac and cheese had just enough kick to complement the BBQ. The smoked turkey was a little dry, and the pulled pork was slightly over-seasoned for our taste, but both were still enjoyable. The wings stole the show, and the sides definitely pulled their weight. A couple of small misses kept it from being a five-star meal, but the outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere made up for a lot. If you're in Fort Wayne and craving BBQ, Shigs In Pit is absolutely worth adding to your list.

We tried a variety of items here. We got the bbq salad and…read moresubbed pork for the chicken and tried the daily special of scooby snacks. Those would have been better with a sauce to dip them in. We also had the pulled pork sandwich, kids ribs, and kids Mac and cheese. Everything was served hot and fresh. You order at the counter and an employee brings your food to the table. It was quick and we received everything as we ordered it. We sat outside on the patio which was great. It was clean, had umbrellas, and is dog friendly. Overall good experience
