The Grill at Lisbon - The rich overflowing bbq pit beef! So tasty!

Great little inexpensive sit-down grill in a gas station…read more We often stop here for lunch or even breakfast. It's a sit-down grill seating around 25 in the back of the store at a gas station, making some good bbq and sandwiches and more! This day (Sep 2025) we were on the way towards Baltimore after a day in Mt. Airy, and we just wanted a relaxing inexpensive meal without any fuss. There's enough parking out front, though it can be a little tight. You just walk into the storefront and head to the back to order. Folks are always friendly. You serve your own beverages while you wait. The food comes out hot and in generous servings. We had a $10 "pit beef" and chose it with gravy on a soft bun, which made it a kind of bbq sandwich, richly flavored hearty thick gravy over a generous serving of thick beef slices. It was mostly melt-in-your mouth tender. A few pieces could have been trimmed better, but the favor could not gave been more delightfully savory. We had an entirely tender $10 rueben on toast, perfect flavoring, perfectly thin-sliced. We had a really over-stuffed $10 BLT with perfectly crisped thin bacon. And we had a fresh bright $10 chicken salad on toast with lettuce and sliced tomato. For $3 more each, we had zig-zag fries accompanying a couple of these, and they gave us an additional side. They were so generous we never ran out! Piping hot and lightly crispy. Of course sodas and teas, too. It was a perfect quiet little oasis with freshly made tasty generous inexpensive food and friendly staff.

Surprisingly pleased with my Walker's experience!…read more I met with a former student. Since I got there a little early, I ordered a small pizza as an appetizer. The waiter didn't quite know what I meant, but did get the request to slice it in smaller rectangles rather than triangle slices. It was light and tasty. However, I'm pretty sure I'd be very hungry if I had ordered it as my meal. That was followed by the beer can chicken cobb salad. It was just the right size! We sat outside. Since Walker's is at the end of the strip, they have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. No fault of the establishment, when the sun went down, it got cold quickly! Now, I'm inclined to try the other Table and Tap restaurant a couple miles west.

Welp, if a great restaurant w great company was a Yelp Review…read more This establishment was easy to locate, nestled within Inwood Village Shopping Center. Free parking lot parking. Hubby and I met friends here for double date night. We were greeted by a kind hostess who quoted a 30-35 minute wait. They do not accept reservations. We were seated within 15 minutes and greeted by Jackson. This restaurant was spacious, clean, and had a semi woodsy décor. Collectively, we ordered the following. Winter Daiquiri Walter's Old Fashioned Shots (Titos, Crown Royal, Lemon Drop, Green Tea) Sparkling Cosmo Black Manhattan Smoked Wings (Buffalo) Pan Seared Salmon Fish & Chips Cajun Crab Cake Sandwich The beverages did what they were ordered to do. They gave hefty pours and we appreciated it. The Smoked Buffalo Wings were pretty yum. Great portion size. Tasty. Pan Seared Salmon was perfectly prepared to my liking, I substituted the risotto for fries to avoid the dairy. It was pretty good. I would order again. Well plated w zucchini under salmon. The fish and chips were the hit at the table. The breading had an amazing flavor, and the fish was prepared well. The Cajun Crab Sandwich was a hit w my hubby. He devoured his food quickly stating he would get it again. It was well plated, flavorful, and fulfilling. We received 10/10 service by Jackson who was attentive to our requests. There was an issue w a dish at our table that the manager (Kelly) resolved quickly, and left our table mate happy. I highly recommend this establishment for a good, hearty meal.

This was our first time here, as on prior occasions we found the line too daunting. We were surprised when another 4:15pm patron was led to their reserved table, but we learned that their planning and caution was well-founded. We discovered the popularity of Bolder to be well-deserved. Seeking lite fare for an early dinner, calorie conscious, we both navigated the tempation-filled menu with success. We thoroughly enjoyed the bison burger and turkey club, the latter being sufficiently sample for a split lunch the next day too. Service was rock-solid and very efficient. We definitely hope to be back soon. And we will make a reservation. Dress code is casual.

It's a little bit off 70, but not bad. First off, this restaurant has an incredibly oversized parking lot. Maybe the restaurant has areas I didn't see, but I was a little bemused. Inside, it's decorated a bit like an old lady house with country accents. It's welcoming and nice, if a little old. I was seated and served quickly. My waitress was great. I ordered French onion soup and a bison burger with sweet potato fries. The French onion soup came out first. It had a huge layer of cheese on top, but it tasted like white cheddar. The soup itself was good at first but started getting bitter. I discovered a huge bay leaf in it. That explains that. Guys, leaving a bay leaf hidden in French onion soup is a violation of Article 35(2) of the Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions. My sweet potato fries were seasoned with a chipotle cinnamon blend. It was weirdly sweet and clashed with the burger. I didn't care for it and honestly feel like if you're going to season with something weird, you should be abundantly clear. The burger was a disappointment. It was fairly basic. It was cooked right, but every so often I would get a burst of salt. I suspect the meat was salted and not well mixed. My burger, fries, and side of soup came to over $40. I am honestly being more critical of them because of that. At that price point, I expect REALLY good, not salt pockets, a left-in bay leaf, and weird seasonings.
