DO NOT EAT HERE - SCAM RESTAURANT The overall experience was disappointing from start to finish. When I walked in, there was no one at the counter. The purple haired Gen Z employee was sitting at a table on his phone. The chef, Jose, had to come out of the kitchen just to get his attention so he could take my order and answer the phone that had been ringing. I placed a simple order for an 8 inch cheesesteak and asked if they had Cooper Sharp cheese. The employee responded, "Like Cooper American?" I said yes, that's exactly what I meant. When I went to pay with my card, I noticed there was a $2 surcharge for using a card. I switched to cash, only to find out afterward that I had been charged extra for the Cooper Sharp cheese. It would have been nice to know that before ordering. When my cheesesteak came out, I was honestly shocked. There was barely enough meat to cover half the roll. Since it was a takeout order, I brought it back inside and politely said, "I'm sorry, but this isn't right. There's barely any meat on this sandwich." The employee looked at it and asked, "So, like, what's wrong with it?" At that point, I asked him to get the chef. The chef told me every cheesesteak comes with 8 ounces of meat. Whether that's their stated portion or not, the sandwich I received certainly didn't look like it. Then he said, "I don't know where you're from, but this is how we do it here." Well, I'm from Philadelphia, where the cheesesteak was invented. I've eaten cheesesteaks my entire life, and I know what a proper cheesesteak looks like. The one I was served was skimpy, overpriced, and nowhere near what I expected. To make matters worse, when they processed my refund, they initially tried to give me only $10 back even though I had paid almost $13. They didn't even seem to know the price of their own menu items. The dining area reflected the same lack of attention. The employee went right back to sitting on his phone while the tables remained greasy and covered in crumbs and residue from previous customers. Instead of helping customers or cleaning the restaurant, he was completely disengaged. Between the inattentive staff, undisclosed upcharges, poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, an embarrassingly underfilled cheesesteak, and being told, "I don't know where you're from, but this is how we do it here," this was one of the worst cheesesteak experiences I've had. The customer service was good, but unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. Hopefully, they have better-tasting options on the menu because the shrimp Alfredo was not it. I wasn't expecting it to be the best pasta I've ever had, but I can honestly say this was probably the worst shrimp Alfredo I've had. The pasta was bland and noticeably overcooked. The Alfredo sauce had the right consistency, but unfortunately, it was just as bland as the pasta. Even the shrimp, which I normally really enjoy, lacked flavor. This was honestly the first time I've had shrimp that was both bland and disappointing. I also decided to add broccoli, but unfortunately, that was bland as well. What makes it even more frustrating is that I specifically asked for a recommendation on what to order, and I was told that "everything was good." Unfortunately, that definitely wasn't my experience. I hope they take this feedback seriously and consider improving the shrimp Alfredo, especially when it comes to seasoning and overall flavor. The customer service was good, so I'd be willing to give them another try with a different menu item. read more

Let me preface, when it comes to cheesesteaks, I'm a Dalesandro's and Gooey Looie's fan. I like the steak finely chopped, the entire sub stuffed, a good ratio of onions to steak, cheese melted throughout, not just sitting on the top of the bottom and a soft bun. I was just leaving the Bottle Show at the HoCo Fairgrounds (Yes some of us like old bottles) and knew Tony's was essentially next door so I stopped to try their Fat Tony's Cheesesteak. I ordered the Fat Tony's Cheesesteak as it's described minus the green peppers and double provolone instead of half provolone, half American and added tomatoes and mayo. I'd have to say it's the best tasting steak I've had in Maryland. They don't skimp on the meat. The only thing I'd as for would be a few more onions and better melted cheese. I'll definitely be back to try the chicken cheesesteak next time! read more

My son and I went there on the way to the Howard county fair. We got a pizza, with half mushrooms. It came out fast, hot and delicious. The people there are really helpful and friendly. I'm so glad we went there before the fair, bc their pizza is is really good and it was only $6 for a medium and would only be $10 for the large. The medium was the perfect size for me and my son. Pizza at the fair would have been $35. So it was a great stop for us to not only save money, but had a nice time at this little cute pizza place. Meh. Not great but not awful. I went for lunch and ordered a chicken cheese steak sub. It's a small place not many seats so I did carry out. Staff was friendly and fast. My food came out in ten minutes after I placed my order. The used a grilled chicken breast chopped up for their subs. Not exactly my favorite. I must prefer the chicken that looks more low a traditional cheese steak. The pieces were huge and the meat was tuff. Tasted like the fried up a grilled chicken breast. Meat was a little dry and the bread was soggy with grease. The over all flavor was pretty good. This fired I ordered with it were much better. They are the breaded variety which I like. I would probably come back again but would stay clear of the chicken cheese steak. read more

We've gotten carry out from this place since they opened forever ago. I believe they recently changed owners and now many of our food favorites are not good. The Turkey has a mushy texture no matter how many times I've tried it. Also, pizza is not the same. I'd love to come back, bc they're so convenient, but we've taken our business elsewhere for now. I think they were getting ready to close when we called to place our order but even so, we received very courteous phone service. We showed up rather quickly and had to wait a few minutes for the pizza to come out of the oven. The place is very clean and it is a rather small establishment that can seat maybe 16 people or so. The pizza was nothing to write home about. It was NY style but lacked flavor, it had plenty of cheese and my wife liked the sauce - I did not as it was a bit sweeter than I like it. I've been here a few times and just can not recommend this place. None of the food I have had is great. The mozzarella sticks are OK and the pizza will do, the chicken sandwich: the chicken patty itself is half the size of the bun, not worth the $, the buffalo chicken cheese steak isn't very tasty, just tasted like hot sauce and if you don't get the 'fixings' it's just a sad chicken to bread ratio. The fries are never crispy, just soggy. The wraps has almost no meat. The Italian cold cut sandwich was the most unfortunate for me, I ended throwing it out after one bite. Really good New York style pizza but I also love their chicken steaks. The people are very nice and welcoming unlike other places in the area. They also deliver if you live close by. Had an issue with the delivery driver years ago, but that's water under the bridge now and almost every other experience here has been phenomenal. The shop is undergoing a major renovation and expansion. Got the small buffalo chicken cheesesteak and a side of fries. The fries were a 10/10. Hot, crispy, fresh and cooked to perfection. The small cheesesteak was smaller than I had hoped. The chicken was chopped instead of shredded. The chicken itself was awesome but it Lacked in the amount. The buffalo sauce didn't seem to be the usual buffalo style but the sauce they used was great. Due to renovation they don't have trays or baskets. Everything is wrapped to go. Not a negative but just an observation for people who can't look past that. Looking forward to going back once the renovation is complete. My food was prepared fresh and didn't take long at all. Italian cold cut= NO cheesesteak= NO very disappointed every time I get anything but pizza. Pizza they know, but subs and chicken wings continue to disappoint no matter how many chances I give them. Pizza is always good for some reason. Cold cut had way too much vinegar, was all you could taste and the roll was like soggy mush and the meat was literally warm when it arrived. Wow! Just wow! One of the best chicken Parmesan sandwiches I ever had & I'm from Jersey where Italian food reigns supreme. The fries were also terrific. They were also very fast. For a small pizzeria, they had more than ample staff. On a Friday night, 6 people on duty. One or two people were cleaning the whole time. I can't wait to come back & try something else. read more

Tony's is the epitome of a hole in the wall. This family run neighborhood pizza place is a pizzeria but much more. They have a wall full of options for sandwiches/subs, pizzas, wings, etc. The pizza here has that kind of cheese that any pizza lover would love - stringy after every bite, and the pizza comes out hot too so it hits the spots every time. I've also had the cheesesteak and fries here....I've come here just for those. The cheesesteak is one of the best I've had in a while - definitely better than the steak subs I've had in Philly! Oh my god! I finally found a great pizza place that delivers. I can't believe I have lived here 4 years and only just discovered Tony's Pizzeria. A few weeks ago I found them (using Yelp of course) and drove on over since I wasn't sure if they'd deliver to my address. The munchkin and I picked a couple of different pizzas (mean, vegetarian) and some cheesy fries, because why not? The whole family really enjoyed the pizzas. Cooked to perfection, perfect crust. Just a great meal when you've got a hankerin' for pizza. The staff was great. The guy at the counter actually steered me to the "right" pizza when I was lookin at vegetarian options. Last night we tried them for delivery with the same great result! Call early because they get backed up on a Friday night. If you actually drive over be sure to use a mapping app. I didn't see a sign when I drove over. We are happy we found this place and we'll definitely be back! read more

It's not from an atmospheric approach an eat in place although they do have a modest amount of tables. We got a Fat Tony Cheesesteak which was very good and quite large. We also had a chicken Parm sub that was a hit too. The pizza rolls are a definite must next time. Overall, a go to carryout for subs. Looking forward to trying their pizza. read more
