Walked in, not too busy inside, drive through was busier, ordered the following for take out, Pulled pork, red beans, spicy rice, roll and drink 1/2 chicken, black beans, yellow rice, roll and drink 8pc chicken nuggets and fries. Plus Ceasar salad and two flan deserts Total cost under $40.00 Everything thing was good, chicken was grilled correctly not dried out, pork was shredded finely and topped with stewed onions. Both the black and red beans had a good amount of sauce, the spicy rice was pretty good, yellow rice almost looked like fried rice with the veggies. Chicken nuggets were real chicken pieces not extruded meat slurry. Fries were not hot and I can't stand seasoned coated fries, won't get fries again. Ceasar salad was good, didn't try the flan yet, still in the fridge. The chicken is grilled right in the store, they have 4 large grills just for the chicken. Price wise it's cheaper then the other chicken place near by, and you get you order within 5 to 10 minutes. Definitely going to put this place on my fast food list.

We stopped by on Valentine's Day Sunday because several restaurants we tried to get into for lunch…read morein Frederiksted were closed early that day. Starving, we headed back toward our resort in Christiansted and decided to grab something quickly via drive-thru since it was getting late for lunch and we had dinner reservations in just over 3 hours at a nice sit-down restaurant on the eastern side of the island. My son and I both opted for just a Spicy Chicken Sandwich while wifey landed on an Apple Pecan Salad. The prices were considerably more than what we are accustomed to in the NYC area, but the food was hot & fresh and well made. They did charge us a little extra for the BBQ sauces we asked for. Though that is unusual for NYC, I know that (certain) condiments are sometimes extra when traveling away from the States. All in all, the meal did the trick. The drive thru line had about 3-4 cars ahead of us and it moved along at an acceptable pace, though certainly not quickly. The staffer was polite but not friendly as compared to most restaurant staff we encountered on our vacation. Wendy's will never be the first place we look for on any vacation but, sometimes, something familiar and quick - especially in a pinch - is also a-okay. If you want to dine in or carry out, there is plenty of parking available. This location is situated in the popular & busy Sunny Isle Shopping Center and easily visible and accessible from the major roads adjacent to the shopping center. 3.5 stars from me because it was adequate but nothing to write home about. Rounding down to a 3 for the pricing.

TL; DR: We found…read morethat McDonalds was the only place you don't go broke in St. Croix getting food (including grocery stores). That's a plus for at least a quick snack if not a meal on the go. The only place to get ice cream in St. Croix for under $5 a scoop was, yes, McDonalds (Sunday $2.39, McFlurry $3.39 ish), and a comedic episode comes free with a Bimbo! The Rest Of The Story My girls were jonesing for ice cream and after buying the less than half gal (1.5quart) of breyers for $13 only to find it had melted and refrozen (nasty), we decided to go McFlurry. It was in the evening when we drove to McDonalds, looked at the ice cream menu, and the car erupted in laughter because we spotted the "Bimbo" McFlurry . So we ordered 5 "bimbos" along with 60 McNuggets ($10 for 20) and otherwise. Then the person at the other end of the ordering system (speaker-dude) told us that the ice cream machine did not work. My girls (2 daughters and wife) were very disappointed. We canceled the entire order and went on an ice cream shop hunt. As we were during the middle of the week and just after peak season (still 83 degrees at night), and on "island time" we found that the ice-cream shops had all closed early. "All" being like 3. SO we came back to McDonalds just to get some nuggets (the prior order planted the suggestion in everyone). To have a little fun, each person in the car (5) ordered something along with a Bimbo McFlurry. Each time the speaker-dude said "sorry, ice cream machine is not working". So we adjusted the order to order nuggets and an ice cream cone. Again the speaker-dude said the ice cream machine is not working. So we would change to nuggets and ice cream Sunday and again, speaker-dude said "not working". The car was rocking with laughter. When we finally just ordered just the nuggets, and we then pulled up to the delivery window. To speaker-dude's credit, he did *not* show a single sign of frustration. A different person (a really adorable young lady) handed us our 60 McNuggets with a "thank you". We then decided to extend the fun and asked where the Bimbo McFlurry's were that we ordered . The young lady got a shocked look on her face and said "oh my gosh, he did not charge you for those did he?!" We burst out laughing and said "no, he told us over and over again the machine was not working, we are just messing with you". She laughed and said "oh but it /is/ working"... and paused and smiled a devilish smile... then asked "how many do you want?" As near as we can figure, the person at the other end of the ordering system (speaker-dude) had cleaned the machine early so he could leave early, then lied to us about it not working. The young lady, immediately recognizing what was going on and thought she would have her own bit of fun ... and have him clean it again after giving us Bimbo McFlurrys. Everyone was laughing except the "speaker-dude" who had to adjust his "Island Time Zone" and clean it again we think. It was an interactive SNL comedy show with snacks, dessert and an awesome server. SO, I have to say St. Croix was hands down the best McD experience EVER. (It would have made a great reel) To cap it off, we decided to Venmo the window lady a hansom tip, we loved her!

His specialty of smoked chicken has just the right amount of spice for me. My wife's lobster roll was freshly made from scratch and perfectly seasoned. Don't go if you are in a hurry. Everything is made fresh to order and may take a little time. But it will be brought to your table after a generous serving of chili that can compete with any on the main land. While you wait, enjoy a Painkiller. This is another specialty that can now be bought by the gallon and brought home. The location is right off of the main road, but you wouldn't necessarily notice except when a truck drives by. His friendly dogs will keep you company and are always protecting you from local wildlife. Coco Jim's is a highly recommended experience for anyone visiting St. John. We plan one more visit before our vacation has ended.
