Love the area, the people are friendly, and the restaurant is clean. Even the bathrooms are clean. And, in case you're interested in a $50 lawnmower or seeing a grandpa in his pajamas, there is a Wal-Mart behind this Subway. The sandwich was good, but I don't think people in Texas understand the concept of a tiny bit of mayo. The sandwich was still very fresh, but the chocolate chip cookie was not, which is the reason for the four stars. Overall, recommended, but be careful with the mayo, skip the cookie, and watch out for PJ Grandpas when leaving the parking lot. read more

Usually don't eat at Subway - love the sandwiches but the service is universally terrible. Happily, not the case at this restaurant. The staff were great especially the young man working the Saturday noon shift on 9/3/2022. My UT daughter stated when we left: "That was a very pleasant Subway experience." Skip this location. I've been here several times. It's clean, but twice recently they have missed up online orders to the point that it's not worth eating. Sad when you try to save time and order ahead only to end up throwing it away. Ordered two sandwiches with light regular mayonnaise. Looked like both sandwiches had a while bottle dumped on them. Sandwiches were soggy... even the spinach was so wilted. Missing other toppings. McDonalds is faster, cheaper... and lately better. read more

This subway has very friendly staff that is energetic and runs a tight ship. Food was super fresh and the place is very clean.

I love stopping in Giddings on my way out to Magnolia. Giddings is one of my favorite small towns in Texas. This trip I stopped into the Subway something I do not normally do - However, after my visit, I will return again and again. The staff working on Friday January 31st mid day was efficient, polite, professional and gave excellent customer service! I told them all how impressed with them I was as I moved down the line and left them some love in the tip jar! I have to say it can be a rare thing to witness such a varied group of people with such earnest commitment to excellence. It was lunch time and there was a line. Not all of the patrons were what I would describe as easy going or even friendly. Despite challenges, the staff behind the counter delivered beautiful customer service while efficiently moving the line. If I owned a restaurant, I would hire them! For now, I will make it a point to stop into the Subway in Giddings, TX every chance I get. 5/5 stars is hardly enough! read more

The sandwich was great, but when I accidentally dropped most of it on the floor, the employees acted like they didn't see. I told them, picked up what I could, apologized for the mess, and they just shrugged and didn't even go clean up what was left. Seriously this location is a joke. They have the app to order ahead and when I arrived to pick up my order I was informed that they don't have half the stuff I ordered. So I ended up having to stand there and do a whole new order. Instead of having cookies that they advertise, they just give you what they have. The girl at the counter was so incredibly rude about it all. Why am I ordering ahead with the app and my phone number is provided but they can't call me and ask me if I'd like to change my order before I get there? We exchanged information on social media to stay in contact, and sure enough, I get to Houston and realize I left an important piece of paper on the counter back at Subway. Absolutely love our hometown Subway. The people are always very friendly and the establishment is very clean! The ingredients are always fresh and the bread is nicely baked that day. Totally sucks will never ever go there again. The employees are very rude especially one that has tattoos all over and is it very professional at all. I actually had to tell her to put her gloves on because I did not want her touching my feet with her dirty hands. I would not recommend going to this place whatsoever at all it is absolutely disgusting and the staff is not very friendly and they talk about you behind your back when all you're there to do a try to get a sandwich and I watched and they do not wash their hands and that is not a lie and they don't even want to put on gloves I'll be trying to grab lettuce and vegetables without no gloves onIs that tattooed girl there's someone in the main one I don't want to put no gloves on the washer hands but I do not recommend going to the subway I would go out of town if you like Subway because this is one nasty subway was a nasty employees they need to have the health department called on them read more

Place is being run by cheaters and idiots. Have decided to not visit them any more. Past three times orders were messed up and One case I had asked for two bowls of the Cheddar broccoli soup. I got home and upon opening them up they had less than 1/3 of the container of soup. (ripped off) The server could have said. "Sorry we are about out and do not have enough for a full serving instead of doing what she did. Today I went in for two subs. both would be on the buy six inch with a coupon and get another six inch free.. I had the person make two full subs since they were going to be cut in half its easier on the crew to do this and then use the coupons.. Apparently the new person at the register was about as smart as a box of rocks. I have had this rung up more times than I can remember with no issues.. This girl must have missed the training for using the register or something. Her first ring up only had one coupon working. She tried a couple of times and only one would work and then suddenly it would not take any coupon. I had her try to ring up the subs separately and nothing.. She then declared that she was only going to ring them up as full subs and that was the last straw.. I know exactly what the price should be but she was not moving on the full sub price so I said "Fine" and walked out not paying I had had enough with the BS and the line was backing up behind me. Its just sad that the place had a smarter person working there that had rung up my food earlier that week fine But she was not working the register.. I was also appalled by the attitude of the girl when she kept saying that she was not going to do this because she wanted to keep her job. Do what? Her job properly?
