We always see this restaurant when we are doing road trips, but I had never tried it before. We decided to make a run through during our holiday drive. We went through the drive-through, and it went really quickly-Despite the amount of cars that was in the drive-through. It kind of reminded me of an old timey diner... similar to In-N-Out, burger... As far as style. They have a very small menu of burgers, fries, drinks, and shakes. However, this place is nothing like In-N-Out. I'm not a fan of In-N-Out.(sorry) P. Terry's much faster and I felt like we were only in line for maybe eight minutes. The Service was very friendly and helpful with questions that we had... Since we've never been there before. The burgers were fantastic. Much better quality than any fast food restaurant. The burgers were thick , juicy, and flavorful. The buns were very soft and tasted more fresh than typical fast food, restaurants buns. They also make their own sauce, which was actually good... I usually don't like "special sauces". My daughter also got a Carmel shake, which actually tasted really good as well. We look forward to having this again on our next road trip. read more

I'm disappointed in the last three orders I had here the grilled onions are more like they put way too much on. They put more grilled onion on and it's not even grilled. It's like a paste and it's like mushy like ground up onions it's almost like they made a gross onion paste and slathered it all over the burger, like they put a bunch of old onion in an emulsifier and then sprayed it all over your burger in a really thick gross layer and the tomato was like not quality and the lettuce wrap that the lettuce was like wet and the ratio of this onion paste to burger is like there's more onion than burger and I just don't think I'll be coming back because it's almost not edible I got the cookie and it's like not soft and chewy at all and I asked them about the banana bread, but I didn't order it, but they charged me and put it in my bag anyways and the french fries have not been very crispy they've been also mushy and I'm just really disappointed and I just don't really ever wanna come back. Better than other fast food burgers in the area. Reasonably priced. Very simple menu centered around burgers, fries and shakes. The drive-through moved quickly. They had whole wheat buns available, and a lettuce wrap option, which I would trust because the lettuce on our burgers was very fresh and crisp. They also have jalapeños available as an add-on, which are diced (not sliced), but are free of charge. Is there anything to write home about? Maybe not. But I'm glad they're here. I don't get fast food often. But next time I need something quick on the road, I'm coming here. read more

Every time I order food, I ask for a number 4 or number 3 or number 2. Whatever I'm ordering and all I ever get, it's just a sandwich. Then I'm like, where's my drink? This was our families first time trying P Terry's. We got four burgers and four fries. My husband had grilled onions on his and made the comment that the buns aren't toasted because his became soggy before he could finish the burger. Both of our children had lemonade and were unhappy with the flavor. The water in bastrop tastes funny, so perhaps the bad flavor is from the ice. First time eating here. It's drive through only. I didn't know what to expect so I went in with low expectations. I was surprised how good my double cheeseburger and fries were! I'm a huge fan of In-n-out but there isn't one close to Bastrop. P. Terry's was dang near a copy of In-n-out. If I was trying them both blindfolded I don't think I could tell which was which. They have messed up my order multiple times now. This last one was the last straw. They didn't add my side of special sauce despite it being in the ticket (and I'm pretty sure they charged me for it), they forgot the pickles on my lettuce wrap burger (again, on the ticket that I've requested it), and didn't include tomatoes in my burger, despite saying i wanted it all the way. They also overloaded the burgers with onion for some odd reason. Do not recommend, food prep is terrible, service is passible, if barely, and do not enjoy the experience from this location the past several times I've been. read more
