Although the staff is very nice (Ni-Kayla took our order), the person who was making the custard items was almost running back and forth, she was a custard superstar! We did finally get our order but were slightly disappointed as they handed us our custard treats about 4 minutes before our order came and they already had started to melt. When we got home one of the orders contained cheese curds instead of the onion rings we ordered. I know that the assistant manager was in the back cooking as they obviously were not able to keep up. By the time we came and left which was over 15 minutes, most of the orders had come out and there was no one waiting. I have noticed this year that the business at this location has greatly increased so the staff needs to be increased as well so guests don't have to wait so long. I grew up maybe ten minutes away from this location, and have now lived in three different states, but every year like clockwork whenever I come back to Minnesota for a visit, I go back to this same little shop. Because it hits the spot, like clockwork, every single time. I get the same thing: a large ham turkey and swiss on white with lettuce and mayo. You might be thinking "well that's a boring sandwich." And you're right, it is. But it's the same one I've been ordering since I was 9. And it tastes like pure, uncut, unfiltered suburban nostalgia. I love this place. I love Josh the manager. I love Julio. I will come back to this place every year until it either burns to the ground or Quiznos goes bankrupt for a second time.
