The rest of us--who ordered takeout/delivery--got screwed. I went over to the spot that said "online orders" and noticed two bags of sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc.--neither with my name on them--so I stepped back and waited. And waited. And waited. Those two bags were never touched, announced, etc. Then I noticed the pile of sandwiches by where the cooks are that kept growing and growing. Those who dined in had their names called out. The rest of us I guess were just supposed to have ESP--I had gotten a text saying my order was ready, but these were just sandwiches and I had a combo. Finally, I walked over and explained and was given my sandwich--which had been sitting for a while. The hot sandwich was now lukewarm at best. Still, the lady (manager?) manning the register, got my drink and chips...but then I saw her. One of the cooks. Staring at me behind my sandwich with a death glare. My husband did wish he could split the flavors on his wings, but you have to get a really large order (I wanna say like 12+??) to do that, so he settled on one flavor. Shawna was a highlight of our experience; without asking, she brought BIL more root beer for his float when he quickly drained the liquid part of it, allowed us to keep the queso and sassy sauce from the appetizer to dip our entree fries in, and was very prompt and patient getting extra sauces and refills as needed. I'm a big fan mostly for their burger: two patties with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes (though I ask for these to be taken off), bacon, and their heavenly sauce, which to my tastes is reminiscent of a really good fry sauce. It's a fairly traditional burger but executed super well. The patties are a great thickness for me - maybe a bit thinner than a standard Five Guys burger - and since there's two of them it's a pretty filling meal on its own. The service has always been polite and helpful, and the food usually comes out quickly even when the truck is pretty busy. They park on the Arsenal sometimes and are working on perfecting their online ordering system to further improve wait times. My one complaint is the price/size of the fry portion. I always like to have fries with my burger, even when the burger is really big lol. You can get an order added on to your sandwich for an extra charge. Personally, I think $3 is high for the pretty small serving size they offer. I'd ideally like to have more fries OR the same amount at a lower price; either would be okay. The fries themselves are pretty good; you can get different seasonings on them and for an extra dollar can add a cup of their yummy fry sauce. The burger is legit, though, y'all -- probably my #2 or #3 favorite burger in Huntsville, depending on my mood. If they're close to me, I'll pretty reliably seek them out for a tasty meal. The pimento cheese was appropriately gooey and cheesy. I wish the bacon had been a little crispier but it was an ample amount. My favorite part was the bread; the jalapeño flavor was subtle but there and it was the perfect texture for a panini. The trail mix bar I had later was packed full of goodies and also yummy. Give this local business a try sometime! I especially love them for the ease and convenience of their take and bake goods.
