On this visit I grabbed a to-go order of two spuds and two cookies. My wife wanted the Turkey Spud and I tried the Baja Spud with chicken. The first thing I noticed right away--the potatoes were huge! Honestly, some of the most impressive sized spuds I've had from City Bites in quite some time. My wife's Turkey Spud was loaded, easy to see the generous amount of turkey piled on top. She was happy, which means I was happy. My Baja Spud, on the other hand, looked good but didn't quite deliver the same way. It felt light on the chicken and a little heavy on the sour cream. The flavor was fine, but the balance of ingredients wasn't what I expected, especially compared to how well-topped my wife's potato was. Thankfully, the spud itself was large enough that I could share with her and still be satisfied. Now, the cookies. I've been vocal in the past about how City Bites cookies have gotten smaller with less icing, which was disappointing since their Pumpkin Cookie has always been a personal favorite.
