That led us back to Biglow's Burgers, and once again, they didn't disappoint. If you're on the hunt for one of the best burgers or sandwiches in OKC, this place absolutely deserves a spot on your list. Even though we've visited several times, this was our first time trying the fried pickles. Crispy, golden, and with just the right kick of heat -- easily some of the better ones I've had around town. We decided to split "The Holy Cow," and wow... what a sandwich. It's basically Oklahoma comfort food done right: a hand-breaded, tenderized chicken fried steak served on a buttery grilled brioche bun, piled with shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and mayo. Messy in the best possible way. It comes with hand-cut fries, which were fresh and perfectly cooked. We skipped the seasoning and salted them ourselves (personal preference), and they were spot on. One heads up -- some menu items have limited availability, so if you're craving something specific, don't wait too long. Bottom line: great food, generous portions, and that classic local joint vibe that keeps you coming back. We'll definitely be back again soon. Comfort food done right.

Hubs got the Italian Beef meal with the fries and both were good. I got the Chicago Dog, which was okay. The hotdog by itself was good, but too much accoutrements (pickle, relish, peppers, etc) in it deterred from the taste. I should just ask for them to cut that in half. Would buy to go next time we want a fast meal on the way home, not sure I'd want to eat here.

We were lucky and sat underneath the beautiful tree that has lighting. Personally, I got the main plate with beef. The beef was not hot. The actual dish itself was very delicious though.
