My wife and I have visited this Subway a couple of times recently and honestly, I'm surprised it doesn't seem to get the traffic it should. Granted, we have gotten standard, solid service. No errors. No bad food. Nothing super stand-out, but still, for it to be a solid stand-by, reliable, option is comforting. My take on Subways in general, I don't go to them often. When it comes to sandwiches, I like meat, cheese and mayo. No veggies. So with that, I eat a lot of bread at places like Subway. Yeah, I can get double meat, but that is an extra cost. Because I like the bread more, I prefer places like Goodcents or even Jimmy John's. The bread tastes better to me there than at Subway. Granted, Subway has a lot of different types of bread, which are basically their white bread with cheese or herbs baked in. They're okay, but I still prefer Goodcents to them all. On topic, this particular Subway deserves more traffic as it is a solid stand-by. Never had a problem here. read more

I ordered Subway tonight on their app and went and pickef them up from the Raytown store. I got home and unwrapped them and were shocked as the buns were burned to a crisp! We asked for them to be toasted but seriously?? They were so badly burned we couldn't eat them on top of the fact both were made incorrectly! I called them and they said there was nothing they could do to refund my money. I told them I couldn't believe they saw how badly it was burned and wrapped it and sent it out the door. She then hung up on me! We then wrapped them up and went back to the store. Waited our turn,as they glared at us, and showed them the sandwiches and asked for a manager. I She said she would help us in a minute. She the told us she was the one that wrapped it and saw nothing wrong with it. She said this was what wheat bread looks like!!! I then told her that I'm sure she would be proud if I sent her handiwork to corporate at which time she accused ME of burning the bread!!! I must refer back to the fact that wheat bread normally looks like this. Remember? After she accused me of burning the bread, I was done! We left the sandwiches on the table and walked out the door. I then walked back to the door to see if there was a phone number of a manager or corporate number and they ran wildly to lock the door like I was going to do something to them. The staff is not well trained. Tried to order two tacos and they insisted I had to order three. Tonight I was not given a full serving of carne asade and I asked the guy to put just a couple of more slices on the taco and he refused. When I went to pay I asked for the manager and told him, he asked the guy if he put a full serving and he said yes and the manager said he had to go with him. I told him it was not a full serving but the manager referred any kind of accommodations. They saved a couple of slices of beef but lost my repeat business. read more

Subway has lost touch with the instore customer. The in store customer has to wait for online orders to filled. They call online orders imaginery customers. I visit this store but never was greeted or acknowledged that they had would be right with me after they complete this order. I have been a regular customer 2 to 3 times a week . I have talk to other Subway manager and they say cooperate pushes this but it up to the manager to use come sense to take care of there regular customer.....I wont stop going to Subway but my new subway understand that most people have a 30 min lunch and said they would not make me wait for on line orders....Now thats customer services read more

I'm a regular who has been going 3-4 times a week now for 3 years. all of a sudden they are now checking receipts, if this would have been done since January of 2020 when i started going then it wouldn't be irritating. I'm always nice enough to tip 15% every time and nice enough to go inside and get it instead of having them bring it out to me. Subway Sandwich Shops are really EVERYWHERE but I made a trip to this one, in my neighborhood, yesterday at lunch, based solely on an Internet ad about their "new" avocado added sandwiches. And I must warn you, this is as much a tale of being fooled by advertising as it is a review of this location. The picture in the on line ad (which is also displayed on the menu board in the store) showed a BLT with a generous layer of chunky avocado heaped into the bread. Since I'm a great fan of avocado AND of BLTs, this looked like the perfect sandwich for me! While waiting in line, I chose a bag of chips and then optimistically stepped up to order my sandwich. The young man dashed my hopes of expecting heaping helpings of chunky avocado when he doled out a very thin spread of creamy avocado onto the bottom 1/2 of my roll, put four slices of bacon into the microwave to crisp up, slid the bread down to the next station and looked to the next person in line for their order. Since I've been getting versions of the 'lack of truth in advertising' ever since I was a kid, this episode should be no surprise to me. But I really wanted the picture version of this sandwich and Subway Sandwich Shops are not really equipped to handle that transaction. I should have known what to expect. So you may be asking why three stars (which stands for A-OK)? Well, let's face it, I was 'ripped-off' by the advertising picture and that really isn't Subway's fault. We've been getting decent Subway sandwiches at franchise stores all around the U.S. for years. It's one of the places you can always count on finding. Even in many small town locations while we are on vacations. The food may not be thrilling but it is Inexpensive and Fast and Edible and you know coming through the door what to expect. If you REALLY want the picture version of this sandwich, you would likely pay two to three times what Subway gets for it. So I'm not going to dis my local Subway. I'm just reminding you of their possible limitations; while putting in a word to not be seduced by the pretty pictures in the advertisements. That way everyone stays happier. read more

09/17/2021 I ordered for crubside and arrived early and waited for 30 mins on my food I had to go into the store and ask them. The parking lot is very small and it was lunch time and I had to pull on the side of the building, but mind you the only have one sign that says crubside and if someone is parked in that space then you park when you can. I sat there and watched no one came out to even look for my car. When I went into the building I didnt get in the line I just stood there an a young lady asked me was I here for pick up I said no Im here for crubside and no one has came out. Well that is when I got my food and went to make a drink and there was no cups so asked you don{t have any cups and the Rude Manager named Jake yelled at me in front of customer say THE CUPS ARE RIGHT HERE. So I asked him to let me speak to the manager and he said I am the manager I said well I would like to speak to your supervisor and he stated he cant give me that information. I was so mad when I left there I could of screemed. I reported it to the cooperate office wont be going back there and I spent $14.00 dollars at this store never again. read more

Terrible customer service. There's a subway right down the road; totally worth the drive. I walked in and painterly waited in line until the second worker came out of the bathroom. She didn't wash her hands before she grabbed gloves or even my bread for my two sandwiches. I told her I had the 2 meal deals for $9.99. I asked for a subway club on both and they're out of roast beef which is one out of three meats on that sandwich. They wouldn't substitute any meat but still wanted me to pay for the subway club. They insisted that the general manager says they aren't allowed to do discounts or coupons without permission. WHY IS THERE NO MANAGER ON DUTY? & why are they, as workers, not allowed to do simple things as a fast food worker should be able to do.
