Sandwiches are good but don't deliver very far. Unless your within walking distance, don't expect a sandwich.

We met at Café Cà Phê's four-year anniversary…read more I came around the corner and there they were. We locked eyes. I couldn't believe they were staring right at me. For a brief moment, I thought I heard music. There was a DJ, actually. But that's not how I remember it. I remember the bus. Yellow and black, impossible not to notice. Anime artwork stretched across the side. Go Chew Burger. At the window, someone was waiting who was every bit as inviting as the aroma coming out of that heavenly little bus. I started looking over the menu, and there, winking at me, was the GOCHEW Burger. They mentioned the double patty. I hesitated. "We won't tell anybody." Two patties it was. They also talked me through the kimchi: fresh or charred. They gave me enough information to make me feel like I was making all the decisions. Double patty. Charred kimchi. Loaded fries. I was all in. While I waited, I did what anyone with an infatuation does: research. I learned about Joohae "Chewy" Yoon and what she's trying to do with GOCHEW--take Korean flavors and put them into foods people already know. Burgers. Fries. Familiar food carrying something new. Then the buzzer went off. Time for our first date. No chairs. No tables. Things were getting a little awkward, so we went back to the car. The fries had lost their crispness to the sauces and steam, but I didn't care. The Korean BBQ sauce was sweet and savory, the gochujang brought mild heat, the creamy lime sauce cut through it all, and the bright green chives pulled everything together. Incredible. But the burger? Perfectly crisped edges. Juicy, hot beef. Melted cheese. Charred kimchi bringing sweetness and acidity. Three sauces that somehow never fought for attention. And the bun had a serious responsibility. Two patties. Cheese. Kimchi. Three sauces. Everything depended on it. Spider-Man protects New York and everyone who depends on him. This bun had the same problem. With great power comes great responsibility. And it held. Mostly. The attraction was still there. The infatuation was still there. But they had become something else entirely. Love. This wasn't just a good burger. This is the best smash burger I've had in Kansas City. Chewy set out to make people fall in love with Korean food by putting those flavors into things they already know. I think she got me.

American food infused with Korean flavors. The bun was great and the burger quality as well. Great job. It was a slower day and I got the privilege to chat with the Chef and the Owner. Super nice people that care. Keep up the great work. I really do hope they keep gettting busier and busier. Go check them out you will not be disappointed! Remember this is not just a bacon cheeseburger place. I will be back! Thank you!

This…read moreone however is right off the highway and it should be a pretty busy location since Whataburger is newer to the area. Upon answering this place is definitely new. However it was also very empty there were no customers inside, I waited 5 minutes for staff to come up and to be greeted. Staff didn't seem too interested in taking my order. I ordered my burger, I got the number 11 Burger and it turned out pretty good. However the lady in front of me she just got a drink but she didn't pay for it which I thought was strange. My major con with this place is something that Whataburger possibly can't control but there's a lot of homeless around the building and a fellow came up by my vehicle when I took my bird into the car and tried pleading me for money but he was loitering around the Whataburger the whole time and when he went away as well as some other people in his situation, they all moved to the car wash next door and it kind of brings down wanting to eat here or go here either if you got these people just lingering around possibly becoming a Target. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned that in their reviews, overall wouldn't recommend

They've since removed their play area, but I used to love that place. It is a bit further from other McDonald's around my neighborhood, so I don't always visit it. We went to this McDonald's today due to their grand reopening specials, that also go on throughout December. From $1.00 Quarter-pounders to $1.00 Big Macs, specials are available. For some reason, (I think it's the cost), we are a McDonald's family, and are suckers for $1.00 Quarter Pounders. As for service, I think they were training tonight. They had the plain Quarter Pounders and plain Big Mac done before the regular Big Macs. We had to wait for the regular Big Macs, and then the fries. The food wasn't kept under a warmer. I didn't say anything this time, cause I gave them a break. Normally I'd say something. They were busy. The food was luke warm, but, it had quite a drive home. The inside of this McDonald's is sparkling clean, but does lack lot's of seating, considering they removed the playground, and replaced it with seats. There is a small area near the back of the store for parties. The drive through stays open 24 hours. A pretty good McDonalds, I'm a fan.

Right away, as soon as I walk in it felt very familiar, like I was walkibg into any number of authentic taquerias in South Texas. It also smelled incredible in there. Quickly I saw what I wanted to eat: Chile Colorado, which is slowly stewef pork in a delicious red chili sauce. It was one of those dishes I fell in love with when I first had it at El Coyote in LA. Service was very friendly and prompt, and the prices were reasonable. There's a lot more on the menu that I will definitely try. I am looking forward to returning.
