MCAlister's Deli has been around for several years but I have not eaten here before. Inside, it looks clean and inviting. I like their color schemes which gives a cool and relaxing vibes. On the menu are salads, sandwiches, wraps or soup. I went with a half salad and half sandwich. Price was very reasonable and for just around $10 you have fresh healthy meal. Both salad and sandwich was very good. Order your food at the counter and they will bring the food out to your table. Staff was pleasant, friendly, and prompt with our order and service. read more

McAllister's is a favorite of mine, especially the chicken tortilla soup, the savanna chopped salad, and Arnold Palmer beverage... Which is a combo of lemonade and iced tea. The service and food is typically good. I've sometimes had issues with the quality of takeout orders and every once in a while a salad that I order in house will have bad greens, but in general this is a very good restaurant with great service. read more

McAlister's is AMAZING! I was blown away by their flavor. I thought they were going to be similar to other sandwich chains in the area, but they really have quite the variety. I love anything that has a Latin flavor to it so I ordered a Southwest Chicken Sandwich and Tortilla soup, but there are so many other additional items I want to try. Stopped in specifically for a desert that was on the menu, ordered lunch as well. Not only was the advertised desert not available, but the girl said "it's in the back but we are not allowed to sell it yet." If you can't sell it, why is it on your menu? This review is strictly for the catering side, although I have eaten at this location in the past and never had a negative experience. I ordered a baked potato bar for a lunch at my job. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and very hot. They remained hot despite our lunch shifts being spread out over a couple of hours. I bought extra toppings, but wound up not needing them because they brought plenty (cheese, butter, sour cream, and chives come standard). They also included napkins and plastic ware. We added chili and it was really good. We had a few people who opted for vegetarian chili and they were pleased as well. The meal was filling and affordable. Having to pull the cashier back into focus and not just staring at a daydream, was the first problem. Having to pay double for just adding two things to my potato, was the second problem. The service was exceptionally friendly despite having a line out the door. I go to Orange Theory between Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Nothing Bundt Cake. Adjacent to Tropical Smoothie Cafe is Mccallister's. Coincidence? I'm not sure. I first ordered their Rueben, which is really good. I thought I took a picture, possibly not. It was a thick sandwich, tasty and filling. My next visit I ordered a French Dip. It wasn't 5 stars, but 4. It was still good, but not their strong point. I've not eaten inside many restaurants since the pandemic, so got my food to go. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of sandwiches. However, there's something about that McAlister's Club that pulls you in and wakes up all your taste buds. From the spicy mustard to the deli meats, fresh lettuce, tomato, crispy bacon and toasted bread, WHEW! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. If you have never tried it, I suggest you make a stop ASAP. It reminds me of Panera, but McAlister's gives you a heartier meal. McAlister's food and pricing is very similar to Panera Bread's except McAlister's has a whole lot more to pick from (a very creative, fun menu) and they also have servers who bring your food to you and refill your drinks. I ordered a choose 2 deal with half a bowl of taco salad and half a sandwich called "Big Nasty." Why on earth you would call a sandwich "Big Nasty" is way beyond me, but it was delicious. It was an open faced roast beef sandwich with shredded cheese, rich gravy, and green onions. They have advertisements for their sweet tea absolutely everywhere in the restaurant. Their passion for their sweet tea intrigued me, so I tried it. That tea was oh so very sweet and satisfying! I will definitely be back to try more of their menu. read more

His cucumber tomato salad was a small container filled with bare minimum fruit and filled to the brim with vinegar. My turkey Jack sandwich was missing the cheese. I come to this location quite often and I have never reallly had any issues or complaints. But today upon entry, I noticed 4 workers in the front of the restaurant. Two behind the counter and two standing at the counter. They were carrying on a conversation filled with laughs while I stood in line and not even greeted. An older couple comes in behind me and they were automatically greeted as they entered the building. The two workers in front of the counter decided to finally use common sense and step away from the front of the counter and work. At this moment, I was greeted and went through the entire ordering process. As I waited for my order (5mins) the couple who ordered after me were given my food by a workers who did not stop to even check the name or make sure this order belonged to the couple. The couple had to yell for assistance to inform the worker that this did not belong to them but maybe me (who had ordered first). The worker looked confused and grabs the bag from the older couple and apologizes to them and then without apology or even eye contact, gives me my bag with food. Overall, my entire experience was insulting. From the time I walked into this establishment to the time I left I was treated with little to NO respect by anyone in the restaurant besides other paying customers.. I am not sure what the issue is or what needs to be done. But younger staff members may need future coaching and/or training on how to treat CUSTOMERS who enter the establishment starting with a greeting and making sure the correct food is being distributed to avoid issues later on. Due to this experience, I may not ever visit this specific location as I did not feel welcomed or respected as a paying customer. read more

We've tried to go here I don't know how many times and it's always been busy. Decided to try again since out is a holiday week end... And we got in. Had the regular club without the honey mustard. I wish the bread had been toasted and I'd asked for extra mayo...but hey this is the very best club I've had in years. My wife had the same, but she switched to ciabatta bread, changed the cheeses, and something else...and they accommodated her and got it right. I had some potato soup but it cooled while waiting to be served. Ok. But not great. You know, I like this place, want to try a salad and maybe a baked potato. Ooh yeah... The sweet tea... Our group tried this place via curbside delivery. We all placed our orders online for a scheduled pickup. When we arrived, our driver called the deli as instructed on the sign in the designated parking spot. The order was ready in less than a couple minutes. The staff member who brought out the order was very polite. Everything we ordered was well packaged (including the teas) for our trip. The food menu items that we ordered were: the Rachel sandwich, the smoky pepper jack turkey sandwich, and the Savannah chopped salad. Everything was great with high quality ingredients. The tea was very good as well and had the right amount of sweetness. I also added a peach flavor shot which was a good complement to the tea. I've been here 3 times thinking it will be better. This location is managed poorly. My most recent visit they forgot to bring out something we ordered, my sandwich was missing one of the main ingredients and the amount of meat on each sandwich is embarrassing....like they're trying to save money by skimping. Had lunch at McAlister's Deli yesterday and came away with a very favorable view of both the food and the level of service. Since this was my first visit, I wanted to try a couple of different items, so I went with their 'Choose 2'. There are no limits on which items from the menu that you may choose. I went with "a cup" of potato soup and half an Orange Cranberry Club sandwich. The "cup" at McAlister's is a generous size (more of a bowl) and the potato soup is served topped with chopped chives, crumbled real bacon and shredded cheddar cheese which makes it even more tasty! The Orange Cranberry Club consists of Butterball™ smoked turkey, Black Forest ham, applewood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar, Swiss, lettuce, tomatoes, orange cranberry sauce and lite mayo on harvest wheat bread All ingredients were fresh and the combination quite good. Sis ordered a 'Choose 2' combo of Broccoli-cheese soup and half a Cheese Spud, loaded with melted cheddar-jack cheese. At McAlister's they don't mess around with wimpy, small bakers! Sis' Spud was ginormous and looked delicious. The friendly young woman who took our order at the counter assured us that all their Spuds are the 'really large ones'. It was a rainy, damp day when we visited McAlister's but inside it was bright and spacious with soaring ceilings, and a happy and welcoming atmosphere with lots of cheerful, helpful staff. Everyone made sure we had drink refills and that we were happy with our food. We came away with a great impression of McAlister's Deli and I look forward to another visit. My wife and I tried a sandwich and salad here the other night when we went out. The chop salad was tasteless and nothing like described, oh and it also had a hair in it. When I went back to ask for more dressing they had to ask me what type of dressing was on it!!! My wife tried a sandwich and the meat was like you would get at the grocery store in the plastic containers, tasteless and watery. The sandwich was also slathered in honey mustard to try and add some flavor, but it just made it worse. The prices were also pretty high. My work had lunch catered today by McAllister's, so this review will only be based on their box lunches until I have the chance to go to the restaurant itself. My whole experience can be summed up in one word: Average. I had a turkey sandwich, chips, and a cookie. Nothing was bad, but there are a number of places nearby that I can think of that do a much better job catering. The bread on my sandwich was a little dense, and the toppings kinda bland. The cookie was ok. Large, but not great. I will say that their sweet tea and lemonade (I have a sick obsession with Arnold Palmers) was pretty good though. Not quite southern sweet tea, but close enough. I'll give them a second chance to impress with their restaurant, but for now getting take out is just OK. read more

DO NOT get any of the spud (potato) options. Had to send ours back and realized it is how the potato is made at this establishment that makes it awful. The "steamed broccoli" is certainly not steamed but put through a microwave oven, as told to us by the manager. Makes the broccoli BROWN and HARD! How can you put "steamed" broccoli on the menu?? The potato itself is cooked a half dozen times before it gets in front of you, making the skin inedible!! This needs to be addressed immediately. The deli sandwiches are good, Mcallister sandwich is very good. Sweet tea or strawberry lemonade is a must. Potato salad or pasta salad is a no-no. Not homemade but instead very processed and not the type you would want to order. Mac and cheese is not homemade either but the best options of the sides. I do appreciate the employees walking around asking if everything is OK and for any refills. Service at the counter could be better with a more high energy smiling faces. I ordered from the Pick 2 menu 1/2 Horseradish Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwich I had the chili for the second item The sandwich had very little meat, could barely taste the horseradish. Bread was tuff, and for being a panini is was cold The chili was a canned. To me it tasted like Chef Mate. Which is good for a canned chili but not what I expected in this day and age when places are making items from fresh. Prices are average. The atmosphere is a basic lunch counter. Kind of noisy. My food took about 15 minutes to come out. Which I would say is a long time for a sandwich and canned chili Probably will not go back read more
